The Hotel

I was not able to reach out to this venue for over 2 weeks, both via phone and email. I had called and emailed them to request quotes and ask questions about their spaces, as I was...
interested in the aesthetics that the space offered, and had been to a reception at this hotel back in 2018. The level of professionalism their team is lacking, and despite following up nearly every day for a week, neither their event coordinator or their general managers responded back to me or my partner. While their front desk staff tried to be helpful, some folks gave me the run around and others tried to be of assistance. I've never been so disappointed in a space or their lack of professionalism. Do not reach out to them, they will not respond to you despite multiple follow ups.

r guests stayed because of its close proximity to the wedding venue (The Bordone LIC). Overall, I was pleased with my experience at the Paper Factory. The most positive aspects included how photogenic the spaces are, from the rooms themselves to the indoor and outdoor spaces on the lobby level. The rooms themselves are also well appointed if not on the smaller side (which is normal in NYC, I suppose). My few small complaints had to do with some difficulties with the online booking system and using our group rate; our sales rep telling us we could use the beautiful atrium for photos free of charge whereas the day before the wedding we learned it was a $500 fee; and difficulty getting adjustments to my suite that I had requested weeks in advance, like adding tall stools or chairs for my bridal party to get ready. Nevertheless, we and our guests had an overall positive experience and we'll always cherish this hotel as an excellent backdrop for many of our wedding day photos.

dding weekend. When we arrived there was a very lovely and romantic setup, which made the weekend even more special. The Penthouse room is stunning, and it was perfect for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready on the big day. The groomsmen were able to lounge downstairs and play on the table shuffleboard and listen to music in the morning hours before getting ready. The next morning, we had a brunch for our families, and the staff - particularly Daniella - worked very hard to make it all come together. They generously accommodated our whole party, and everything was delicious. The Paper Factory is a terrific choice for a New York getaway, or a full wedding weekend!
