Columns, venue after venue had coaxed us to their properties with promises of affordable rental fees, only to turn around with distinctly unaffordable food and beverage minimums. With Brix & Columns, we had full control over our own catering, while also having the most supportive owners (shoutout to Stephanie!) who were with us throughout the planning process and supremely helpful on the day of our wedding. What’s more, the reception space is gorgeous with the most beautiful hard-carved wooden dinner tables that you won’t want to cover up with some tawdry linen. And while photos do the scenery more justice than our words ever could, you will be hard pressed to find a vineyard with a better view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If we could get married again, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose Brix and Columns again. Also, Wyatt was a delight.

f. I had always envisioned a certain wedding in the mountains, and Brix and Columns more than delivered! They have the most breathtaking view of the mountains for both ambience and pictures. Their interior venue is pristine and very conducive for wedding adventures. And their staff are amazing to work with. We couldn't have been more lucky. I wish everyone could find a wedding venue as spectacular as this one.

we all enjoyed the beautiful weather and views! The staff was very friendly and helpful, Winston is a total peach, and the bridal suite was one of the nicest I’ve been in. Plus, their wine is superb 👍🏻 Highly recommend!

visit to this amazing venue...the views from every corner of the property are breathtaking. We planned the outdoor ceremony on the pergola with the Blue Ridge in the background. For the reception we enjoyed the newly built 60' X 60' reception hall that was spacious enough to seat our 160 guests while allowing for a large dance floor. Our DJ, Alexander Verno from Richmond, played his music into the night and the acoustics in the room were excellent. Included in the venue cost were ceremony chairs and set up, and the set up of reception tables, chairs, linens and napkins as well as miscellaneous decorations and lawn games. The caterers, Pumpernickel Pickle, appreciated the large kitchen set up space with large walk in refrigerator. Stephanie recommended our photographer, J Ellis Photography, and there were unlimited spaces , inside and out, to get some gorgeous shots of the bridal party and guests. The Columns is a beautiful, unique setting for a wedding. The venue has plenty of parking, is easily accessible from Route 33, east of Harrisonburg, offers a price inclusive of many of the items you would normally have to rent separately, and is owned and operated by a local family who go the extra mile for you. We are so happy with our decision to have my daughter's fall wedding at the Columns. Thank you, Stephanie and Steve.
