eryone said it was delicious. Lisa was great to work with and so accommodating when we made adjustments and very cautious of some severe allergies of our guests. It was easy to work with her to figure out what options we could provide to make sure everyone had a meal they loved.

eam there went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect! Our Event Manager and Wedding Coordinator, Kaitlyn, was a gem. When we met with her for the first time, it was literally like sitting down with an old friend. She was relatable and compassionate, and literally catered to our every request. She set the tone for our wedding and reception to go on without a single glitch. I have to mention Nicole as well, she worked alongside Kaitlyn and ensured the evening was unforgettable! Just to give you an idea of how well she took care of us, our send-off brunch was going to be at another venue. When we were unable to finalize that the WEEK BEFORE our wedding, Kaitlyn rallied with Rebecca (the GM at Foster's Boiler Room) to get it set up for us to have an amazing send off brunch, right there on site! They both literally saved the day. Speaking of Foster's... We had our after party there and it was the perfect end to the night! Rebecca was there to make sure everything went perfect, and the bartender working the event, Alyssa, was an absolute joy! If you are considering having an after party there.... don't second guess it for a moment! Now let's talk about the details! Special shout-outs to the Kitchen Team who provided us with an amazing dinner, and an amazing send -off brunch! I should mention here, that I have celiac disease, and not once was I concerned about cross contamination or being glutened on our wedding day. They took special notice to make sure I had everything our guests had and more! There were so many amazing staff members present, unfortunately I did not get everyone's names but, they were all wonderful! Seriously, we have not one complaint! The event lead, Bridget, was a ray of sunshine, and even personally made me a gluten free flatbread during the after party! The bartender at our reception, Taryn, was fabulous and never missed a beat, and believe me....our group kept her busy! The Inn itself was amazing, the front desk staff was friendly and more welcoming than anything I had ever experienced before, and Tom, the breakfast cook , was literally the highlight of our morning! I very much appreciated that they served my husband and me first, and that I got a chance to sit down and actually eat my meal before dancing began. I loved how customizable their menu was, and I felt that we had the perfect balance of elegance, while still being filling. From start to finish, TCM is truly one of the best in the NH wedding business.

The food is always amazing at the Common Man, and they were very accommodating with some diet restrictions we had with our guests. Most all of our guests stayed that evening and all were very happy with the accommodations. The value, service and hospitality at the Common Man cannot be beat. Thank You to Kaitlyn and the rest of the staff whom helped make our special day memorable and run so smoothly!

We choose to have flatbread pizzas for our cocktail hour appetizer, and we loved that they had multiple toppings so there was a pizza for everyone's personal preferences. The dinner was outstanding. The tortellini pesto was fantastic, the beef was tender, the chicken was light and delicious, and the rolls were some of the best we've ever had. In addition, everyone was raving about the mashed potatoes. Dessert was amazing. We chose to have cupcakes instead of a cake that way we could get a variety of flavors. The chocolate cupcake was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. It was rich and moist. The bartender did a great job, and the wait staff were very kind. After the wedding we stayed in the terrace suite which was amazing. We felt very spoiled in that room. It is so relaxing. We had some issues with the Common Man on the organizational side of the wedding planning operations. To start, the wedding coordinator was supposed to reach out to us to finalize details and order the food 3 months before the wedding date. We never heard anything so with 2 months to go we had to reach out ourselves. That is a whole month after the coordinator was supposed to reach out! Part of what you are paying for is the professional help from the coordinator, and we feel like we didn't get that because she did not hold up her end of the contract. Secondly, the coordinator was on leave during our wedding, so Katie filled in for her. Katie did the best she could, but we felt like she should've been cc'd on all the emails so she knew everything we had discussed. We had some paintings we asked to be taken down and none of them were. I think Katie did a decent job as our day of coordinator considering all she had to go off of was the event coordinator's notes and a short 10 minute phone call with me. Lastly, paying our bill was a nightmare. The final bill we were given was full of errors with incorrect counts. In addition, we were asked to give payment 3 days before our contract had stated we needed to. Although it was an odd request, we would have been willing to pay if the final bill was accurate, but it was not. Lastly, when the day came to pay our bill, we could not get ahold of anyone. Our contract stated the bill would be paid in 2 parts, but because the Common Man messed up the bill, we had to pay all at once which was more than my credit line. I was finally able to reach someone at the restaurant, and they helped me reach Katie who was able to charge my debit card instead of my credit card and we finally got the bill paid. However, this was just another example of how we as the client had to go out of our way to help the Common Man do their job. The inorganization was extremely unprofessional, and made for an extra stressful planning process. We did not feel like the money we paid was worth the service we got with the Common Man, which is a shame because the venue and food was truly amazing.

Sharon was extremely helpful in making sure the day went smoothly and all of the other vendors knew where to go. Also, I cannot emphasize how great the food was! The late night cheeseburger sliders are a must. Everything was great and there was absolutely nothing I would change about our wedding day. Additionally, the Terrance Suite is beautiful! Perfect place to get ready day of and great for the wedding night. Stunning view of the waterfalls which you can enjoy from your private hot tub.

dding or that I could not go the tasting for this year. I was told I would get a room block of 10 rooms per hall- not told it would be spilt between one night and two night rentals. I needed ONE more two night rental to be able to have my whole bridal party at the venue for the rehearsal and getting ready. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME ONE MORE. I even offered to pay for all the rooms I already had then and there since I had assigned them all already but no. I expressed that this would not work for me so they simply said fine well refund you... tried to make it work as I already had put deposit down on other vendors as well and they said I thought you wanted a refund so we are allowing that. I again asked to make it work....days went by no answer, no returned or answered phone calls. As soon as I said fine refund me I got an answer right away that it was refunded. All they care about is your money and not you. Would not even tell my worst enemy to get married here. My new venue said they have been hearing so many complaints about the inn and spa awful customer service lately.

We got married January 25 2020 and even in the winter time it was beautiful! It was my dream wedding! Tessa the event coordination and Katie, the Inn staff, kitchen staff, bartenders you name it, they are all amazing! They executed everything I wanted and my wedding went so smoothly I was kinnda in shock. Tessa made sure everything was done and set up the right way. DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS PLACE!!!! we will go back every year for our anniversary and we have a lot of friends and family who now want to book more romantic getaways to the common man. You will fall in love with the venue and the staff. Thank you Common Man for all that you did! I cannot thank you enough for making me the happiest bride!

She took our ideas and boxes of decorations and executed everything perfectly. The inn is cozy and comfortable and rustic, which is just what we wanted. The waitstaff and bartenders were amazing; they were holding a second wedding in the ballroom next to ours, and yet I never felt like they were spread too thin or weren’t giving my guests attention. Kali was an incredible asset to have, not only the day of, but in the wedding planning process as well. She always answered my email questions within a day and knew just when to tell me that we didn’t have to worry about something just yet! She was such a calming presence throughout the stress of planning the wedding. Besides having the reception at the Inn, we also used the spa for manicures and pedicures the day before; stayed in one of the suites, where the bridal party and I got ready the morning of; and had a few family members stay in the rooms as well. Everything was perfect! Every member of the staff was incredibly attentive and kind. I could not have asked for a better place to hold my wedding reception, and I highly recommend The Common Man Inn and Spa to anyone looking for a reception hall!

ess free. Our facilitators Megan and Bridget did a phenomenal job with the rehearsal dinner and wedding. The food was amazing and the rooms were perfect. The only reason we did not give 5 stars is because we were both disappointed in the performance of the sales manager Kali. Communication was lacking and we felt like we were treated as a number. We were told that there was a room block set aside for the wedding party but when we went up there a couple months before the wedding we learned that nothing was reserved for us and we had to do it ourselves. 2 weeks before the wedding we emailed Kali to setup our last meeting to finalize planning and payments and she emailed us back that she was "too busy". As a result, we went up to look at the event hall ourselves to figure out the floor plan. We had moved the barrier so we could look at floor space and Kali came in with another couple and treated us like trespassers and snapped at us for moving the barrier. The only other issue we had is there was a farmers meeting that was going on in the event hall 2 hours before our wedding. This caused us a lot of stress because nothing was set up until an hour and a half before the wedding and no one communicated this to us.

During the event, all of the event and hotel staff were extremely accommodating. Our reception was in the Ballroom, and our ceremony was in the Woven Label room. The event team helped us decorate and clean up, and the wedding day was perfect. Everything was ready and exactly how we discussed, the space was beautiful, our guests loved the waterfalls, and the staff was attentive and timely throughout the event. The food was A+, our guests loved it, and we were able to do a buffet and played vegetarian option. We were even able to do a late night snack - cheeseburger sliders were served at 10:30, which was a huge hit! The bridal party got ready in the Terrace Suite, and the hotel team helped us immensely - they provided extra tables/chairs for our hairdressers to use, constantly checked in to provide extra towels, etc, and Kristie even helped us organize a lunch delivery, which arrived right on time. Our guests LOVED the inn - they're still talking about how great it was that everyone could stay on site and how nice the rooms were. Overall it was a truly wonderful experience and we are so grateful to the Common Man team for making our wedding weekend so perfect!

From the lay out and set up of Fosters Hall for our reception, to the fine details at the Greenhouse for our ceremony, everything was picture perfect! She even had a plate of appetizers at our sweetheart table for us to enjoy (which we greatly appreciated!). All of the food was so delicious. We had so many comments from our guests about how great all of the dishes were- especially the late night snacks! We could not recommend this venue enough! Our day was literally perfect. We are so excited to celebrate our future anniversaries at The Common Man!

Kali, the wedding coordinate was amazing from day 1! She was always quick to respond to emails and no question was to much! They made my wedding day so stress free by setting up the room and taking everything down so we could just enjoy the day, start to finish! The spa services at the Inn were the perfect touch to a one stop shop for any wedding day! Although it poured on our day, Kali and everyone else made it still go more smooth than I anticipated! It was a great wedding weekend! Most of our guests came Friday and stayed 2 nights, they all loved their rooms and what the Inn had to offer! Perfect spot for any wedding with a lot of town guests!

o a complicated situation with our venue. The food was delicious and creative, and the staff made sure we were fed even though we were busy mingling. For instance, they left a plate of appetizers on our table so we had a chance to try them during dinner. All of our guests commented on how delicious and fresh the food was. The catering staff was friendly, kind, and accommodating. We would definitely recommend their services to anyone planning a wedding!

may one of our photos ended up in an advertisement promoting the Common Man's wedding venue. We were never asked for our permission to use the photo, nor was our photographer. They took the photo from his Facebook page. We were horrified that a company of their stature would be so cheap to steal a photo rather then use their own photographer and models. We were informed to send them an invoice, however they have decided to now ignor us, as well as our photographer who was also informed to send an invoice. So they realize they have done something wrong, but yet choose not to take responsibility for their wrongful actions. We are so disappointed they we chose this venue!

t the Inn's Event Room. The staff was helpful and friendly during the entire planning period, leading up to the event, and the day of the wedding. The location is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for an autumn wedding. The food -- whether it was for family dinners, our rehearsal dinner, our welcome reception, breakfasts, and our wedding reception dinner -- was all fresh and perfectly prepared and we couldn't have been happier with the food or the service! The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, and took great care of everyone. Most of our guests, including my husband and I, stayed at the inn during our wedding weekend. The rooms are spacious, kept very clean, decorated with cute and rustic themes, and just the right environment. The convenience of staying on location made everything very easy and accessible. My bridesmaids, the mothers, and I also utilized TCM's Spa services for my bachelorette party, and hair and make up for the wedding, and the service there was superb. Staff was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The treatments were amazing and the stylists made us feel beautiful. A big thank you to The Common Man Inn & Spa's staff members for making our wedding weekend perfect and the exactly what we dreamed it would be! We can't wait to go back on anniversaries to celebrate there!

Kali was there every step of the way and made the wedding planning process so easy. She was such an amazing resource and answered every question I had. The wedding party also used the Spa for their hair, makeup and nails and everyone looked beautiful! The staff at the spa made us so comfortable and we even were able to order drinks and lunch and have it brought to us as we were all getting dolled up. Also THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! We were blown away by the Common Man and are so happy we chose this venue. I can't recommend it enough! If you choose the Common Man as your venue it's impossible to be disappointed.

We chose to get married on the lawn out back and had the reception inside the greenhouse. The greenhouse is an amazing alternative to a tent- You have the feeling of being outside, but the elements don’t matter as much and it looks absolutely gorgeous, both day and night. Our coordinator, Sara, was fabulous and helped us plan every detail. And, as anyone who has eaten at a Common Man restaurant in NH before would know, the food was incredible! There are no tastings available, but don’t fret- simply dine at any of the Common Man restaurants and you will know how good the food is. All of the servers and bartenders were courteous, polite, and attentive- one of the bartenders even drove our bridesmaids and groomsmen back to the Inn when our shuttle (from another vendor) failed them! The Inn itself provided exceptional rooms for many of our family members and bridal party, and we booked the Cabin in the Woods- a little pricey, but absolutely worth every cent. Brides and grooms- do yourself a favor and book the cabin on Sunday night, too if you’re wedding is on Saturday night; you will not regret being able to have a little bit of alone time after all the people you were just with! My ONLY negative experience was with the people who worked in the spa booking hair appointments for my bridesmaids and myself. It seems as though our original appointments never made it into the system, and when I finally received a confirmation email (many weeks later), the times were nothing like what I thought I had booked. Two phone calls later and everything was finally resolved. Was a little irritated by it, but thankfully it was easily fixed. All in all, this is an absolutely outstanding venue and I would recommend it to any bride and groom!

r turned out to be a bust! She could certainly do day of planning as well as organizing the C-Man staff! She even made sure I got a piece of cake to take with us to our suite. As for the rest of the C-man services they were also terrific. They started off with a cocktail hour, which they set up with out a problem. When my husband and I arrived at the venue everything was flowing with out a hitch, the set up looked amazing people were loving the spread of cheeses and Mediterranean finger food. Then when we arrived they started passing out the hot appetizers, they made sure to find my husband and I to make sure we got some as well. Then on cue they had the champaign ready on trays for the guests and handed it out with a smile. All of the waitstaff was amazing, so friendly, so professional, and on top of things. I used to work as a waitress in catering, and I can say that the servers working were really top notch and would hire any of them again. Especially the bartender who did an amazing job, it was just wine and beer with shots, but she made sure guests were happy and kept on-top of guest who may have partied a bit too much. Since our wedding was in a barn, we went for a BBQ buffet fare, which at first glance doesn't sound that amazing. But sometimes when things are simple and done right it comes out great. The steak tips were perfectly cooked, the salmon was moist, and the mac and cheese was such a success that people are still raving to me about it! To me food was a priority at my wedding, cause nothing is worse then bad food, and I can honestly say that the Common Man was well worth it, and I would hire them again for future events, and would recommend them to family and friends.

We did a wedding with 120 people (appetizers, bbq chicken, steak tips, corn bread, salad, pasta salad, fruit, cheese and crackers, a bar with soda and water, and common man mac and cheese) for around $5,000... And Sara made sure we had food and drinks after the ceremony (during picture time) and did a wonderful job coordinating with the DJ to make the whole day seamless. I am very happy with their service!

terested in a typical function hall wedding, I wanted either outdoor space, a castle, barn or just anything unique. What the Common Mann does is they have an amazingly beautiful greenhouse with this rolling hill view. I couldn't believe it! I cried! My wedding ceremony was beyond picturesque and because its in a greenhouse, the weather wasn't an issue. We then had our reception at the inn itself in one of the function hall rooms, which is nothing like a function hall except for the functionality of course ;) It had a raised wooden dance floor, beautiful wood everywhere and a mural on one of the walls. One side opened up to the patio with grass, it was amazing! I couldn't speak more of the service you receive. My coordinator was named Jen and she treated me like family. They treated me like royalty and I will never forget that! Speaking from someone with a strict budget, this place was accommodating and just amazing, you have to check it out!

We have received so many compliments on the food and the venues (we got married at the Greenhouse and had the reception at the Common Man). The prices were fair, the quality of everything was outstanding. As an incredibly happy bride, I would recommend the Common Man with 10 stars if I could!
