We had our wedding at Confluence in 2024, and we could not be happier. This place is perfect. When we were venue shopping, as soon as we arrived at Confluence for our first visit, we knew this place would be it for us. There is a large, well-outfitted building for the reception surrounded by hundreds of acres of nature. My wife and I enjoyed the hiking trails on-site, and we rented the big luxury cabins on-site for our families to stay with us the full weekend. Pervis was our main point of contact leading up to our wedding, and he exceeded every single one of our expectations. He helped reassure us over and over that things would go well, he helped us work out the kinks in a very unique Indian/American ceremony, he filled any gaps in our planning to make sure the whole event went smoothly. And he did all of this with sharp wit and kind charm. We cannot thank Pervis & the rest of the Confluence staff enough.

The Confluence Resort was the most beautiful place we could imagine for our wedding. Pervis was very helpful prior to the wedding day making sure we had everything ready to go, and then his team were great with set up, valet, and transporting everyone around the venue in the golf carts. We had an amazing day and our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the day and the venue were. We had the ceremony at the overlook, the reception at the tent, and then a bonfire down by the barn. Every part of the day ran so smoothly. Highly recommend!!

The Confluence is a wedding ceremony and reception venue in Hico, WV, that’s located on a beautiful 300-acre farm atop the Gauley and Meadow rivers’ canyon rim. This wilderness destination is the perfect choice for couples looking for a rustic, country venue with gorgeous scenery. You and your guests can enjoy the breathtaking mountains, a 70-foot waterfall, and cliff sides via the nature trails and rails-to-trails along the river banks, adding adventure to your wedding weekend. Facilities and Capacity The Confluence can accommodate up to 150 guests at its destination location. Their single event space offers a mix of covered and uncovered outdoor locations for your ceremony. The resort has a specially designed ceremony overlook, a 4000 square foot reception facility, and a rustic barn for you to use. The entire venue is surrounded by intimate forests and over 50 acres of fields, and you and your guests will be comforted by the sounds of the rushing whitewater. The Confluence has on-site lodging for you and your guests, perfect for intimate wedding parties. The Hemlock House is a two-level home that can accommodate up to 11 people comfortably; the Vandalia House is a three-level home that can accommodate up to 13 people comfortably. Services Offered The Confluence is wheelchair accessible and has ample parking for you and your guests to use. Couples are able to use the resort space for bridal showers, ceremonies, elopements, engagement parties, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. The resort offers clean-up and set-up for each event and has an on-site bridal suite. Other services include accommodations, event planning, event rentals, liability insurance, lighting/sound, outside vendors, pet-friendly, and wireless internet. In addition to audio equipment, chairs, linens, and tables, couples can choose to rent. The Confluence was an absolute dream venue, as long as you’re willing to be very hands-on with your wedding. This isn’t a venue where you just write a check and show up and all of ...

the tables, chairs, food, flowers, cake are magically in place. But it’s worth it. The spot is absolutely gorgeous, and the large houses on the property meant that a bunch of my family and friends could be right there all the time, which really made our wedding feel more like a family reunion. Pervis is very helpful with everything, and yet he never seemed in the way. I would highly recommend the Confluence for a beautiful and memorable outdoor wedding.
