rounds and gardens.   So many lovely areas within this one venue.   We had the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and after-party, each in a different area.  The bride/bridesmaid room (to get hair and make-up done) and the groomsmen’s room (to hangout in) were perfect.   The ceremony area (St. Cecelia’s Garden) was unbelievable…luscious greenery, gorgeous stone stair entrance, perfectly landscaped.  Truly magical.   The arches, the terrace, the main parlor… each area is honestly perfect.  Extremely clean.   The signature suites were very pretty!   I loved EVERYTHING about this venue and would highly recommend it!!!

ordable and comfortable, making it one of the deciding factors for us to book our wedding there, especially because a vast majority of our guests were traveling from out of state. We opted for a predominantly indoor event, and the beautiful reception space and parlors really come to life with decorations and guests. We were able to take pictures all around the venue's wonderful outdoor spaces as well, and the newly renovated patio spaces were amazing for letting our guests spread out and get fresh air. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the staff at The Connors Center is a joy to work with. They are responsive, incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable. Jean in particular served as our primary point of contact, and she was essential in making the entire event run smoothly and putting us, an admittedly anxious couple, completely at ease throughout the whole weekend. Their recommended vendors were clearly chosen with care and consideration as well, as we had phenomenal experiences with all of the vendors we chose from their list. Whether you are two alumni of Boston College or have no affiliation to it at all, we highly recommend having your wedding at The Connors Center.

dding with our friends and family. Going into our planning we knew that we didn't want to work with a traditional "wedding factory," and the Connors Center was far from that! Jean, and her team, made all the planning and preparations for the months leading up to the event as smooth as possible. They were always available to answer questions whenever something popped into our heads, graciously offered us many opportunities to come into the venue to walk through and see things, and from the moment we signed on gave us an extremely detailed packet of information we referenced for months to come. The venue itself was the perfect spot for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, but with plenty of beautiful spaces indoors for a weather back up plan if needed. The grounds were so well kept, the stone arches made for beautiful photographs, and the newly remodeled patio with fireplace made for an excellent spot to hang out during the reception. The greatest benefit of the Center was being able to host all of our guests overnight and keep the entire evening in one location. The rooms were all comfortable, and the after party space extremely spacious and a great way to wind down after the ceremony/reception. The breakfast that the Connors Center provided the following morning was excellent. Everything about our experience at the Connors Center exceeded our expectations and every one of our guests felt how special this venue was.

Their online recommended vendor list made it possible line up a stellar team of talented professionals who are excellent communicators and knowledgeable of the ins and outs of the venue. Jean's attention to detail and professional/attentive manner allowed us to relax and enjoy the moments of the weekend on-site events - Welcome Party, Wedding Day Brunch Buffet and Wedding Ceremony and Reception.

way down to the drive up to the front door. The Connor’s Center was one of my most loved portions of our wedding. It provided us with such a stunning backdrop for our perfect day. Not only was it beautiful, but also checked off numerous boxes for us in our wedding planning. The venue allowed us to celebrate the whole weekend from the rehearsal dinner to the Sunday following our wedding all in one venue. Guests were able to stay on site, making it even more convenient for our guests. We were able to celebrate each event within the estate with each portion of the wedding having a unique and distinct place from the other events. We were able to have our ceremony in one area with the cocktail and reception in separate spaces. Not to mention, the ability to get ready on-site the morning of the wedding. Having everything in one spot allowed for a seamless transition in our wedding day and allowed us to not have to worry about transportation. Susan was fantastic from the start. She was professional, friendly and ensured every part of our wedding day was executed to perfection. The staff at The Connor’s Center were very responsive to our many questions and were willing to accommodate our needs. We are still hearing compliments about the beauty of our wedding venue.

d this venue gave just that! Growing up in the town right next door from Dover, MA I never knew this place existed. It’s a hidden gem right outside of Boston but that’s what I loved about it! Not only was the venue beautiful and accommodating but Jean Drum (the venue coordinator) was SPECTACULAR. Any questions or problems that we needed solved she was right on top of. It made the whole planning process as stress free as it could possibly be and that is key when wedding planning! From our cocktail hour on the terrace, to the reception on the stunning grounds below, the wedding was a fairytale! We had our close friends and family stay on the grounds the night of which also made life so much easier for people coming out of town. It’s a one stop venue for all your wedding needs! I can’t thank Jean enough for all she did and all the help with our vendors. I can not recommend The Connor’s Center enough! Get in before everyone starts to find out about this venue! I wish I could go back and relive my wedding day! I’m already trying to figure out my next event at the Connor’s Center!

location itself was breathtaking, with its picturesque surroundings and stunning architecture providing an enchanting backdrop for our special day. The facilities were top-notch, providing ample space for the rehearsal dinner the night before and both the ceremony and the reception. The event coordinators were organized and professional, making the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. I had the pleasure of working closely with Jean Drum one of the events coordinator, and she was exceptional, ensuring every detail was taken care of seamlessly. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, answered every question I had leading to the wedding. She was very attentive, accommodating, and made us feel truly valued, like family! Overall, didn’t have any complaints for the whole weekend. Our experience at the Connor Center was nothing short of magical, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning and well-managed wedding venue.

my own son's wedding the choice was easy. The venue is perfect as it allowed the rehearsal dinner and subsequent party, wedding ceremony, reception, after party and Sunday brunch all on their beautiful property where our guests stayed in the wonderful private rooms and had access to the entire facility for the duration of the weekend. The groomsmen actually played basketball while the bride and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done in the spacious bride's room. Other guests just enjoyed walking and enjoying the property and stunning views. I could gush about the venue all day in my opinion there is not a more beautiful setting in New England never mind a short ride from Boston., but I wanted to talk about the staff, Jean, Susan, Tammy and everyone involved are so professional, warm and caring no stone was left unturned. They rolled with the punches through months of planning and were there for us the entire weekend. Their calm demeanor and wedding and event knowledge allowed us to relax and enjoy the weekend they handled all of the details flawlessly and worked in conjunction with Gourmet Caterers to make it a wedding that will be talked about for years. So many guests have already said the best wedding they have ever been to. As a lifelong caterer I have been involved in thousands of weddings and was not disappointed in our choice of the Connors Center I wish we could give them more than 5 stars they deserve it!!

on. It was also great to have exclusive use of the venue for the entire weekend. Jean was nothing short of amazing to work with, from day one. She is extremely responsive, incredibly helpful and a truly wonderful person. Everyone there was very professional. We decided to have our rehearsal dinner (welcome reception) and farewell breakfast onsite, as well, and the staff made it so easy for us. They are a well-oiled machine. We were recently commenting about how we wish we could have another major life event so that we could have it at The Connors Center and work with Jean again. We highly recommend them in all respects. All around an amazing experience, and one we will never forget.

y aspect. Susan and Jean are completely delightful, thorough, responsive, insightful and helpful. Working with Jean for over a year must have certainly taxed her patience, but not once did she indicate that. She was always responsive, detailed and endlessly helpful. We rented Connors from Friday thru Sunday brunch, which created a wonderful opportunity for everyone to socialize and be together. That was a great decision, as it gave us time to be with all the people so special to us. We of course had hoped for an outdoor ceremony, and the gardens were beautiful, but a significant storm edged its way into our plans. We were able to tent the ceremony and therefore still be outside with the reception inside. This was all flawlessly executed. Connors was such a perfect location for us. The private estate, the rooms for our guests, the multiple rooms for cocktails, dinner, dessert, the magnificent grounds. A bonus was having access to the Hospitality suite which meant space for hanging out at all times- Friday night, all day Saturday, after party etc.. Wonderful to have that. Everything was pristine, every single space, guest room, grounds. This is a remarkable achievement. We had such a wonderful experience. Everything worked out so perfectly. It was a terrific decision to rent Connors for the weekend, but that was a bonus. It is a beautiful place for a wedding, working with nicest and most helpful folks imaginable.

ar ago up until the date of our wedding, the communication, ease to work with, and any other requests we had far exceed our expectations. We had so much fun that we asked Jean if we could help out at any weddings in the future! We cannot recommend The Connors Center enough! It is a magical place and we will forever cherish our memories there.

e was so fun for getting ready and has great natural light for photos. The fact that our day started off rainy didn’t worry me at all because I knew we could easily move our recption inside, if needed. We also appreciated that many of our guests and family could stay there for one or two nights. Being able to gather again with our guests for brunch the morning after the wedding was one of my favorite parts. Thanks to Jean for all of your hard work, organization, and calm demeanor. We couldn't have picked a better place or asked for a better wedding weekend!

lls, arches and gardens. Like something out of a fairytale. We booked a wedding weekend which included use of the property from Friday evening through Sunday morning. We had many guests traveling from out of town, including internationally, so we were thrilled to find such a beautiful venue which enabled all of us to stay onsite together for the weekend. We hosted an onsite rehearsal dinner on Friday evening, breakfast on Saturday morning, our wedding on Saturday evening and a brunch on Sunday morning. An incredible amount of planning and details, but well worth it! Both Jean and Susan were very helpful in our planning process, offering ideas on how to leverage the space for different aspects of our weekend and vendor referrals. Likewise, both Jean and Susan’s help throughout the wedding weekend was exceptional, largely acting as a day-of coordinator, so that we could enjoy everything. We have amazing memories and photographs and are very happy with having chosen the Connors Center for our special day. Our only caveat to prospective couples is that while the ability to leverage the overnight accommodation is fantastic, there is a high likelihood of another wedding being set up before you have left the next day. While we had booked the weekend package through late Sunday morning, there were vendors and wedding party members for another wedding arriving by 8am on Sunday before our contracted time ended. While this generally all worked out okay, it made it feel a bit like a wedding factory and misaligned with our contract. In hindsight, had we known, we would have rented the property for Sunday as well allowing ourselves and our guests to fully enjoy the property the day after the wedding too.

re weekend. She helped me with our first look, she was extremely accommodating and somehow managed to be everywhere all at once when we needed her. This was truly the best weekend of our lives and that is in huge part to this venue, and the staff. We got in Friday earlier than expected and stayed through Sunday late morning. The winter feel of this venue makes it the perfect winter wedding experience. Our friends and family could stay on site with us, making it an incredibly communal weekend where we got to spend a lot of time with our guests. The rooms were great, pretty and very comfortable. Our guests particularly loved the hospitality suite. Where adults could hang out and kids could play too! I can’t say enough good things about the Connors center. If you are looking for a smooth sailing weekend filled with precision, kindness and warmth, this is a must stay!

fect location for an outdoor tented wedding. The event manager, Jean, was incredible to work with. Her insights from countless weddings in years prior was invaluable. You name it, she has seen it and knows what works best at the property! She was extremely communicative throughout the entire wedding planning process, quickly answered all of our questions, provided her insights and ensured that every last detail on the day of went exactly as planned. The venue has the absolute ideal setup for an outdoor wedding. From the gorgeous outdoor garden for the ceremony, an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour in the main libraries and terraces, and a separate location for the tent, the layout kept guests entertained as they were able to explore the beautiful property throughout the event. The layout truly made for the perfect flow of events. And not only that, but all of the greenery and stone work made for some absolutely epic photos! If you are interested in any sort of outdoor wedding venue, look no further than The Connors Center. You will certainly be glad that you did!

Even Chris a employee of the Conner center assisted in my hysical needs with chairs and tables. Our wedding was perfection and the Conner center a magical location . Jean Drum the dedicated and on top of every need, always with care and top notch professionalism. She took all our worries away and was able to resolve and satisfy every concern ,need or want! If I could recommend the Conner center and it’s staff higher than 5 stars I would . Amazing, Beautiful, Affordable ,Elegant ,Magical !

As the groom, I wasn't involved as much in the planning as my wife was but even I could tell that Jean and the team at The Connors Center were working seamlessly with our various other vendors to plan and execute our events in line with my wife's vision. Our vendors all gave top marks to The Connors Center when we were planning (and now I know why). As icing on the cake, my wife and I spent our wedding night in a beautiful suite on site while many other members of the wedding party booked rooms to sleep-off the celebration on site. We all enjoyed breakfast there the following morning and it was such a nice touch to have that level of comfort at such a beautiful venue. It was the happiest day of my life and The Connors Center played no small role in that.

Jean (and Susan and their team) worked tirelessly and with infinite patience, creating a wedding experience that brought our vision to life and exceeded all expectations. From figuring out locations for yard games to coaxing a shy flower girl, no detail was missed. Imagine if you had a favorite relative - the fun, thoughtful and extremely efficient one - who happened to have a gorgeous estate in the woods, and she offered to host a wedding weekend for your family and friends. That's what it felt like, working with the Connors Center. The mansion and grounds, with their gardens, ivy, stone arches and staircase, are totally enchanting. It was as if Frederick Law Olmsted designed the perfect fairy tale wedding venue. The chance to share this beautiful space with family and friends, from Friday's Rehearsal Dinner to Farewell Breakfast Sunday morning, was truly a gift. But as beautiful as the Connors Center is, it was working with Jean and her team that made the experience so wonderful. I have never worked with people who were so consistently caring, kind and professional. As state Covid regulations kept changing, Jean just kept making new seating charts, unflappably calm, never complaining, and always doing her best to honor our wishes. She also invited me to ask any questions, and I did! Her knowledge, experience, creativity, flexibility, (not to mention her sense of humor with my extended family) were amazing. Another advantage of working with the Connors Center is the strong relationships they have built with caterers and other vendors. The goodwill vendors have toward Jean and team extends to the wedding family. After a couple of hot and rainy summer months, July 31 arrived, sunny and 75 degrees, a picture perfect day. While I cannot give Jean credit for the weather, I know that if it had poured buckets, she would still have worked her magic. My family and I will always be grateful.

We stayed in the house with our families and wedding parties, had our ceremony in one garden, our cocktail hour in the library, and our reception in the lower garden, and each place was just so magical and comfortable and easy. It was a truly seamless process, and even with all the changing requirements and restrictions due to the pandemic, we had excellent communication and support throughout. Jean is the best of the best. We couldn’t recommend the whole experience more!

enue for my own wedding. I am so grateful that we chose the Connor Center for our wedding, as it met or exceeded all of our expectations. The site administrator, Jean, was amazing. She was so flexible and easy to work with, and consistently went above and beyond to meet the needs of a high maintenance couple like ourselves. We often found that items like decorations or yard games that we brought for our event were collected and stored for us before we even thought to ask. There were many things that happened behind the scenes to help our magical day flows smoothly without our even noticing. Much of this was due to Jean and her exceptional organizing and foresight. As a wedding photographer with an eye for beautiful settings, I really appreciated all of the options that the Connor Center offered for shooting locations. The lower garden, with its grassy steps and arched cloisters offered plenty of interesting and classic looking backgrounds for wedding photos. I actually found myself wishing I was the photographer instead of the groom on several occasions. St. Cecelia’s garden, where the ceremony was originally scheduled to be, was also quite beautiful. We got several inches of rain the night before our wedding, and St. Cecelia’s was still too wet for our ceremony. But the Connor Center has a third beautiful garden area – the front Circle. With the flowers and stone wall and trees in the background, this made for a lovely ceremony location, as well as for the family formal portraits. The bride processed out the front door of the center and straight down the aisle. For families with many elderly guests, like our own, this actually worked out better, since there is limited parking at the handicap entrance to St. Cecelia’s garden, but plenty of parking close to the front Circle. One of the most enticing qualities about the Connor Center for us, was the ability to rent the entire site for the weekend. With enough rooms for all of our out-of-town guests, it made gatherings above and beyond the ceremony and reception so much easier to coordinate. One of the things that I heard time and time again as a wedding photographer, was how quickly the day went by for my clients, and how the bride and groom didn’t get to spend enough time with their closest out-of-town guests. My wife and I did not want our wedding to be over in the blink of an eye. Renting the Connor Center for the weekend was the perfect solution. Their hospitality suite on the lower level was the perfect space for our Friday night after-party, at which the groom and his other musical friends gathered to play live music, while the other overnight guests socialized and sipped wine and ate snacks. This informal party after the rehearsal dinner really helped make the weekend feel complete, and gave us the chance we needed to socialize at a relaxed pace with our closest friends and family. Between the beautiful venue with lots of options for photography and ceremony locations, the outstanding service of the site administrator and staff, and the option to rent the site exclusively for the entire weekend, the Connor Center was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend. We would recommend it highly to any prospective bride and groom.

Our guests still tell us how stunning the venue was and how nice it was to spread out into different rooms. Jean was so helpful, realistic, and definitely made the wedding more relaxing. Caitlyn was also fantastic- we showed up to the rehearsal prepared to decorate and she took care of all of the decorations and made every detail perfect! The weekend at The Connors Center was beautiful and stress free thanks to everyone who works there. We would recommend this venue to anyone!

Despite the delays and downpours, our guests were completely taken care of and completely unaware of all the weather drama going on outside. And the biggest trophy goes to Jean for searching the dumpster for a card with cash that was accidentally thrown out. This meant a lot to the guest and us! It was a joyful celebration of their wedding and we are filled with gratitude to the team for making it so.

Not only were they fantastic coordinators, but they were also really fun to chat with and our families felt so welcomed. The venue is stunning and so well groomed, - we felt like we got married at a castle. My mom and I enjoyed a nice walk around the grounds before the wedding and it was so relaxing. Jean connects so well with the vendors and many of them mentioned how much they enjoy working with her. It put us at ease from the first meeting with Jean right through the day of the wedding. We couldn't recommend a more high class and beautiful wedding venue to feel so proud of being married at. We cannot wait to go back and visit one day.

ue truly is. In terms of planning, Jean and Susan really work on every detail with you and create a seamless event and I was able to completely relax during my reception and not sweat anything. Jean is a fantastic day-of coordinator for the venue and oversees everything including letting you bring your decor days earlier as well as overnight bags if you plan to stay over, she will do set up and take down and you can store your decor there overnight. It was a huge hit for guests that they could stay there the night of- and in terms of our Vendors, they loved working with Jean and the Connors Center which made our job a lot easier. If you’re looking for a serene and peaceful venue have a hands-on coordinator who is there through every small detail the day of,where you have the best of both worlds and all the options-a venue that can support events indoors while also allowing space for you to have outdoor space for photos, the event itself, or merely part of the event- like we did just cocktail hour for example- than this is the venue for you!

clearly just wanted us to enjoy our special day. Jean wears many hats at the Connors Center; she was not always able to respond to emails ASAP, but I never worried that she would not respond. When she did, she was always calm, reassuring, and so informative, which was particularly helpful for a Type A bride who was perpetually running on far too little sleep. Every single person we interacted with at the Connors Center was friendly and made us feel like we were their number one priority, which was pretty impressive given that they have weddings there every weekend! Getting married at the Connors Center enabled us to have our ideal wedding weekend - our last big "hurrah." Most of our friends who are scattered all over the country with little children, which makes traveling hard. We were able to hold our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and Sunday brunch on site, and there were enough rooms for all of our out-of-state guests to stay on site as well. This fostered an incredibly fun, festive, and home-y vibe. While I was getting ready the morning of the wedding, it was so fun to be able to peek out the window and see friends hanging out together while their kids all played together in the back yard. Every single one of our guests commented on how gorgeous the Connors Center is. Through the course of 9 months of wedding planning, we were fortunate to see the center during all four seasons, and we honestly could not have gone wrong with a single one of them; the place is always beautiful and magical. From the beautiful stonework to the perfectly landscaped grounds to the rich mahogany wood-work inside, there is truly no part of the center that is not pretty. And when you drive up to the grounds, you get to drive through a tree-lined road that is surreal and promises beautiful things ahead. All of our pictures are gorgeous, and our memories are even better. Thank you so much to Jean, Susan, and the rest of the crew - our wedding was absolutely perfect because of all the hard work that you did!

was beautiful and elegant for cocktail hour! It is great having the whole venue to yourself. The staff there are wonderful and easy to work with. The planner even went above and beyond by retrieving a wedding card from the trash that was mistakenly thrown away! We had a great time at our wedding, thanks to the Connors Center.
