The venue was gorgeous, and staying on site was great. I loved being able to spend the whole weekend with everyone instead of just one day.

our. They ran out of drinks in about 20 minutes (I think). We (the bride and groom) could not even get a drink because they were out after signing our marriage license. Drinks stayed stocked once we got to the reception.
Also, the roof leaked from heavy rain onto my tables that had been set up. This stained my tablecloths. Luckily, we had extra, but was offered nothing to reconcile the issue.
The venue also made big changes without informing people. I was expecting to have a shampoo bowl in the mansion to get my hair washed by my hairstylist, but they removed it.
PS. The chairs in the bridal suite are very tall, making it hard for the stylist to do hair and makeup, so bring a chair.
