What a hidden gem in Northern New Jersey! My now husband and I had been to the fairgrounds for the county fair. When The Conservatory appeared here on The Knot, we thought, “Hmmm, ...I didn’t know that there was a venue space there.” From the moment we saw the the open concept of the space, water features, and the amount of natural light within the main room, we had found the perfect place for us and all of our guests. (Some of our guests actually shared that they had known about The Conservatory when they were planning their wedding.)
I have to celebrate the amazing staff at The Conservatory. Leaha and Karen in particular were amazing on the day of our wedding! I was reluctant to move my wedding indoors, for I had a vision of being wed at the beautiful whiskey garden. When the heat index skyrocketed before the ceremony, they assuaged my fears and slight discomfort, and they transformed the indoor space promptly into a breath taking space. Also, when halfway into the reception, a heat-based thunderstorm struck. The combination of the high winds, rain, and heat caused the area to lose power; the staff didn’t miss a beat. They did all they could to keep the magic flowing, guests comfortable and feed, and my husband and I in a state of bliss. None of the festivities had to be forgone due to it. Actually, the reception went so smoothly that some guests, thought that mood lighting had been set; we later shared that half of the venue was working off of a generator due to the storm. This is how amazing they pivoted during the unexpected.
In one word, The Conservatory is “mystical”.
