Mandie Wood is the sweetest! The menus are so affordable and the stuffed chicken is the best thing I have ever tasted. You will not be disappointed with The Cooked Goose!

compliments on how delicious the food was.  They had pre-packaged covid-friendly boxes for cocktail hour and served our buffet style dinner and cleaned everything up afterwards.  They are also reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food received. We cannot say enough good things and will definitely be hiring them for future events!

modify the menu and use a "non-wedding" package. We had roast beef, stuffed chicken, au gratin potatoes, roasted Asparagus, Spinach salad, rolls, cookies & cupcakes. The price was SUPER reasonable and the food was excellent- the roast beef was especially raved about. The chicken was a bit on the dry side but still flavorful. That would be my only criticism. They were on time and quiet during setup (we were in the middle of our first dance/father daughter dance and I didnt even realize they had arrived). Overall I'd definitely recommend them again!

lasted us 3 days for dinner! I had dreams about the stuffed chicken, not even kidding. Absolutely everyone had nothing but incredible things to say about the food. They were able to accommodate everyone’s dietary restrictions - vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy allergy, etc. They are incredibly affordable!! My favorite part was that they allowed us to TAKE HOME the food we paid for after our wedding. 🙌🏼 I was astonished at how many caterers wouldn’t allow you take home what you paid for. We have SO MUCH food left over! There is nothing better than The Cooked Goose!

tars for several reasons. We had an omelet station and the “chef” wasn’t a chef, he was just filling in because they were short handed. He did ok, but seemed very overwhelmed. He also burned a hole in one of the rented linens that we had to pay for. We were a bit disappointed with the food during the social hour. The portion sizes on one of the items was huge - not hors d’oeuvere size at all and I didn’t care for the taste/presentation. Lastly, tea and coffee service I requested was not done. Somehow it was left off of the order so we weren’t charged, and it was a very hot day so it was probably not missed too much, but for a brunch we were expecting it.

Would definitely recommend, taste and value are out of this world, and Debbie was awesome in calming down this panicky bride!

ad to call several times to get in touch with someone only to find out they were still 45 min away. They blamed the lateness on some issues with call offs etc. Once the food arrived several family members and bridal party members had to help bring the food in and get it set up. We were supposed to eat at 6:00pm and be done roughly around 7:30pm so dancing could begin and we did not start eating until 7:15pm with the last table getting served around 8:45pm. The food was cold (which is unfortunate because their food is good) and our guests were given very tiny portions and tried to go back for more since everyone was so hungry but by then they had to serve themselves. Because the portions were so small we had over 10 trays of food leftover and they let them sit out on the tables (we paid for them to clean that up) and again our family members and bridal party had to clean up the food and put it in the walk in fridge for us. Overall, the experience was a disaster and never once did we get an apology for being late or a thank you for our family members. In fact, all I got was hassle from the staff regarding payment (that was certainly already taken care of). We would not use them or recommend them for an event ever again as the staff and communication was very poor. Very unfortunate as again their food is delicious but was overshadowed by the awful service. *** Update *** After several phone calls and emails to the company we finally got a hold of Debbie (the woman we worked with from the beginning) - - after speaking with someone else - -and she took care of our issue right away and very respectfully and efficiently. We got a very nice refund after Debbie took over the case. Again the food here is great but would just be weary if you are using them for a time sensitive occasion. I would just do your own research on how far your venue is from them as I think we were just a bit to far to get the job done well.

u so many options and so MUCH food. Debbie, the woman who I worked with, was wonderful. She was always pleasant and extremely prompt with communicating, which was so helpful. We fed our wedding of 120 for under $11 a person! And the food was delicious! The staff had salads at every guests seat when they came in from the cocktail hour, so they had something to eat while waiting for the buffet. Even with the buffet, there was never a line and always enough food. We had a fall wedding, so we wanted Octoberfest style foods. We had sausage and haluski, fried chicken, stuffed cabbage, rigatoni, and more. They packaged all the leftovers had them for us to take home. Additionally, we used our own plates (mis-matching vintage china) and they even rinsed all the dishes and placed them in tubs for us. They were amazingly priced, but with no cut in quality. Would recommend them to anyone for any event!
