The Copley Chamber Players

A fabulous trio from “The Copley Chamber Players” performed at our May 31, 2014 wedding at Old Sturbridge Village. They sounded fantastic, and we were delighted with them, as were our guests. Our wedding was outside with 150 guests and everyone was able to enjoy the music without amplification. They are highly talented musicians who also perform professionally with ensembles such as the Boston Pops, Boston Ballet, etc. They have an extensive repertoire of wedding-appropriate music for you to choose from – both classical and contemporary. You can listen to samples of their work online and they will also send you a CD to help with your selections. They played as the guests were being seated, during the ceremony, and I also chose to have them stay for cocktail hour. I made a lot of requests (ahead of time) that weren’t listed on their website, and they performed everything beautifully. I found out later that they even took a request to play an Irish jig during our cocktail hour so that one of our young guests could showcase her dancing talent. They made the cocktail hour a very special event, and it was very affordable to have them stay for the extra hour. Their music also enhanced the meaningfulness and beauty of the wedding ceremony in such a lovely way. Highly recommended!

The Copley Chamber Players were the only musicians I contacted in our wedding vendor search. We hired a pianist, cellist, and violinist for our ceremony, and the pianist stayed to play music for our cocktail hour. Their coordinator, Sandy, was very friendly and responsive to my emails and questions and she kept close track of changes in my requests and associated fees in the months leading up to the wedding. I was a little nervous about never having spoken with the musicians themselves until moments before the ceremony, because I chose a few pieces of music that were not traditional wedding selections, but they played everything beautifully, exactly as I'd requested, and on cue from the church coordinator. The price was also right--and you can add or subtract instruments as you like to tailor the ensemble and music choices to your vision. Couldn't be happier with our decision. I would highly recommend Copley Chamber Players.

My husband and I had our wedding this past September and the Copley Chamber Players were the musicians during our ceremony. They were extremely professional and played beautifully. I am a musician myself and tried several companies until I came across the Copley Players. They sounded exactly how their website sounds and had a huge repertoire, I asked for several songs not included on their website and they were no problem. Also I requested the players play The Power of Love by Huey Lewis as our recessional music and they learned the new music and arranged the piece beautifully, it truly sounded like The Power of Love and was a nice twist at the end of the ceremony. I would recommend the Copley Chamber Players for anyone who expects a professional and beautifully played repertoire.

The music during our ceremony (5 songs) was absolutely amazing. The Copley Players were not only professional, but they are so talented and skilled as they were in tune with our singers who they had just met before the ceremony. The music during our ceremony was flawless and I couldn't have asked for a better group of musicians. The ceremony, for my husband and I, was the most important part of our day and I am truly thankful that we were blessed with this amazing group of musicians. * I had a pianist, cellist and violinist.
