We had our wedding on 10/3/20 and had issues through the entire process. Guests that planned to stay overnight were booked on the wrong weekend, and our experience with the wedding coordinator was unpleasant. A meal was forgotten at our tasting, she arrived late, during the wedding she approached me and tried to change multiple
plans like the order of the first dances and cake cutting, and when the after party would start and tried to move it from the bar area to the dining room. Even our DJ was frustrated with the venue. We were also never notified of the open bar closing at 8pm when the reception went until 10. We brought our concerns to the wedding coordinator and owner of the inn after the wedding, and they were rude and untruthful in their responses. My wedding was the best day of my life thanks to our amazing DJ, photographer, and our guests but if I could do it over, I would choose a different venue.
From our first meeting, we were treated like we mattered. The entire staff made sure everything was perfect. The food that chef Carlos and his staff prepared was excellent with care taken for food allergies and gluten restrictions and the glasses were kept full. Claudia my go-to planner and now friend went the extra ten yards and even contacted me while on vacation to assure me everything would be taken care of. The only problem we ran into was weather-related but we had a plan B to fall back on so everything went on without a hitch. The entire staff made my wedding a day I will always remember as being intimate and perfect. I am so happy I chose The Copper Beech Inn and can't imagine our wedding being anywhere else.
From the moment we went to go look at the copper beech inn we fell in love! We knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding reception, cocktail hour, after party, and brunch the next day. They really went above and beyond to make every detail come together. From the dinner tasting where we were able to taste appetizers, entrees, and soups to signature cocktails we were so impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail this historical inn resonates. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the gardens, the amazing food, wonderful staff, and accommodations in the three buildings. What a weekend to remember and the wedding of a lifetime thanks to the copper beech!
I am so glad I made the decision to have our wedding at the Copper Beech Inn. We wanted a simple, elegant affair. Barbara Phillips, the proprietor, made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone at the Inn, from the owners, to the chef, to bartender, to the delightful servers, made sure our day was very special. The Inn was unlike any run-of-the-mill wedding factory. I'm pleased that our event wasn't just a wedding, but a beautiful day trip for all our guests. We had a garden ceremony (rain held off, thank goodness!), a lively cocktail reception, and a lovely sit-down meal with a carefully planned menu. The pastry chef even made homemade ice cream to go with our wedding cake. What a nice touch! Thank you, Copper Beech!
We chose this venue for our wedding sight unseen. The staff worked with me via phone and email to plan and orchestrate every aspect of our wedding. The owners and staff were accommodating to our every whim. By the time we left, they felt like family! The rooms are luxurious and beautiful. The grounds are a perfect snapshot of New England beauty. A real slice of Americana. And Chef Tyler Anderson is setting the bar at an unprecedented height with his elegant fare. Our guests RAVED over the Inn and the food. We can't wait to go back for an anniversary!
