Our engagement photo shoot was very fun, and she was kind enough to accommodate a somewhat strenuous hike to the beach from the Torrey Pines Gliderport (sorry!). She was great at directing us so that we got a variety of different shots, and we like her editing style. During our wedding is where her and her team REALLY shined. I was so, so, so impressed with how Ally managed to orchestrate all the shots between our families. The attention to detail was great, and Ally went above and beyond. One example was that after our post-ceremony photos we didn't have enough time to eat (and we were starving!). Ally realized this and proactively gathered appetizers for us to each between photos with guests. I can't image a better photographer. Ally, you rock!

They took so many photographs and everything turned out better than we could have hoped for! Their experience showed in the photos and in their direction of those photos. They are a bit on the pricey side, but we could not be happier, we were glad to spend the price to have such wonderful memories captured!

The turnaround time for our photos was very quick, we received sneak peek photos the day after, preview photos within the first week and our entire album within a month of our wedding. One very specific detail that truly stood out to me was the photos the team had caught of moments between me and my dad as well as me and my husband. Both moments were so special and in the moment I did not realize the team was photographing us. When we received our wedding album I was pleasantly surprised with images of both moments, perfectly captured for me to have forever. The Copper Collective does such a wonderful job encompassing such a special day and providing photos that will last a lifetime. They are 1000% worth the investment!

I especially liked the thoughtful questionnaires that their team sent to get to know what was most important to us on our wedding day, what we love most about each other and any family dynamics their team should be aware. Leading up and day of the wedding they were so communicative and gave great directions / pointers on how to get the best photos. We also had a videographer through another vendor and they worked seamlessly together. We got a couple of photos the weekend of our wedding and our wedding previews arrived quickly (~2 weeks after) - we can't wait to see the rest! Their photo album link also makes it really easy to navigate, view, print and share photos with family/friends. We are so happy with our photos and I can't recommend their team enough!!

There was a parade and festival event the same weekend, the weather was a big factor that day, and we got every shot we wanted at Balboa Park. Jessica found the perfect locations for us to have a quiet moment together. Unforgettable. We LOVE our beautiful portraits. And the moments in between. Every detail of the reception was captured with great artistry. The images were delivered in record time, both the sneak peaks and the full collection. We are obsessed! More details: Our wedding was March 18, 2023 and we hired Jessica Van. While I can only personally speak to her, Copper Collective is her team and I would've trusted our day with any of them knowing she's at the helm. Jess passed the vibe check right away for us. She has a laid back energy that really puts you at ease, but at the same time was completely professional and on her game every step of the way. Starting with our engagement photos, we loved getting to know our photographer and vice versa over that session. It made us way less nervous on wedding day because we already had a great rapport with her. Also she read us so well, I feel like she instinctively picked up on what we liked and didn't like. We are not photoshoot people, so we were worried we'd feel a little awkward or embarrassed at times, but didn't end up feeling that way at all which I 100% attribute to Jessica. Day of our wedding, her and her assistant were incredible. They were right on time, rolled in with amazing energy - excited, ready to rock. They ran the show - Jessica kept everyone on schedule and did it kindly but with authority. I've been to weddings where I couldn't believe how rude and unorganized the photographer was, and I'm so glad we didn't have that experience for our guests. At times, I personally was getting overwhelmed and stressed, and Jessica without missing a beat and without me even realizing in the moment kept me focused on just enjoying the day, she calmed me down, hyped me up - I was like everyone should have this type of wingwoman on their wedding day! For anyone with some sensitive family dynamics, she also handled that on our behalf during family photos and I couldn't have been more grateful. She was also very patient - as the evening went on and drinks were flowing, people would be like "can you get this photo for us!" and I'm sure it was a lot to manage, but you'd never know it. I loved (and couldn't believe) how quickly we got previews back. And then ultimately the full set of photos were absolutely stunning. In summary: 11/10 Recommend Copper Collective. done my research based on familiarity to my venues and really loved the style/edit of the photos that Jessica had described as "true to life". From my first phone call with Jessica to our engagement photos and to our wedding day, she was so comfortable to work with from the get go. My husband absolutely hates taking pictures, but even after our engagement session he raved over how comfortable Jessica made him feel. We've received our first set of wedding previews and am soooo in love with how they came out and cannot wait to receive the rest! Jessica and Ally were a dream team on our wedding day and my family and friends loved them as well.

timeline and expectations for family photos, first look, couple shots, etc. We built out a great timeline with her assistance and the day of was smooth and executed flawlessly. She was so sweet and so reassuring and my bridal party adored her. During the reception she was on the dance floor, snapping photos & all over an we loved every moment of it. Sometimes wedding photographers get in the way of guests during the ceremony-not Jessica & her assistant. They were basically invisible and got AMAZING photos!!! If you're debating who to use for your wedding-look no further. Book her now!! We will absolutely use her in the future for any and all photography needs!

the camera, which is usually not easy for me. Jessica and Sarah were so calming and I instantly trusted them and I'm so glad I did! We just got our sneak peek pictures back and OH MY GOSH!! They are the most beautiful photos I have ever seen, and I'm not just saying that because they're my own wedding photos (lol). Jessica and her team were so amazing and sweet and let my {husband} and I just do our own thing, but somehow turned it into straight MAGIC! I am so excited to see the remaining photos. ica was also super helpful and quickly responded to a few editing requests I had. The photos turned out amazing and my family and friends are so impressed with the quality of the photos. We received our "preview photos" less than 48 hours after the wedding and i was so thrilled to be able to relive the day. Not only are the photos incredible but the company is very tech savvy and made the process so simple - from securing the contract and paying online to their beautiful photo galleries. I LOVED that I can easily download all my photos in web size or hi-res and share one link to all my family and friends and that they can then download whatever they want free of charge as well! That was always a big pet peeve about other friends' weddings - that access was restricted or you had to pay to download an image - so that was a huge win in booking with France!

eel so at ease for our photos, which turned out amazingly!! Sara and Frances photographed our wedding and they were so great at coaching us and making us feel comfortable in getting the perfect shot. They were also great at getting everyone in line for family and wedding party photos so we could get back to the reception and party! The photos were MORE than I could hope for and we got them back so quickly! Sara even sent us a few preview images the next day :) I would highly recommend working with her and her team!

YOu can find her on THEIR site! I do not recommend anyone else!
