I did add more time to reserve the space so we could start getting ready in the bridal suite at 9 am. That is an extra cost to consider if you are looking to book this for your wedding. We also used their up lighting inside and bistro lights outside as part of their military discount offering. 10/10 recommend this venue. I loved my wedding day and all the photos we've received. We did everything here from getting ready, pictures outside, ceremony (inside due to the rain that weekend) and the reception! Perfect set up for a band as well. Book it!

ful to work with the whole process. Practically every vendor we worked with had worked with the Cordelle before which makes the process so much easier. We had to move our ceremony indoors due to the weather which they easily accommodated last minute and it was still beautiful. The venue is gorgeous and it was nice to be able to customize what we wanted for the day. It was perfectly intimate for our 75 guests and there was plenty of space to accommodate that. Love Cordelle, cannot recommend them enough.

From the beginning, the Cordelle team was super attentive, communicative and organized. I knew we were in good hands. We ended up using a lot of their preferred vendors and they all worked together so well and really eased the stress that comes along with planning a wedding. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and even though they have weddings every weekend, I felt like ours was a top priority and we never felt like we were being left behind at any point! We love the cordelle and now have so many amazing memories to look back on!

She was extremely disrespectful to myself, my wedding planner and my husband. When voicing my concerns to other staff members at her lack of responsiveness I was dismissed and told "she's working with other brides whose wedding is sooner than yours".

as the place for us. We were greeted by name by the staff member (I believe her name was Devon) and were taken around the space on a private tour. We knew we wanted to have a venue with indoor and outdoor space since the weather in Nashville in early November tends to be pretty mild. Sadly it rained on our wedding day but thankfully there was plenty of room for our 140 guests inside and on the porch! We had a tent in the garden but most of our guests opted for seats on the porch or inside.
The indoor space is a blank canvas just waiting for your vision. We opted for minimal decor, using greenery/florals, candles, and bistro lights, and to us it was perfect! We had a nine-piece band (set up on the floor with no stage) in the Great Hall and reserved the Victorian for soft seating and bistro tables. Even with the band playing at top volume our guests sitting in the Victorian could converse comfortably. One of my favorite spaces in the whole venue is the Loft, it was one of the selling points for me during our tour! It’s perfect for getting ready, taking those small moment photos, and serving as a quiet place to recharge when you need it. My husband and I returned to the Loft right after the ceremony so that we could sit with each other for a moment and eat dinner before greeting our guests during their dinner hour.
We couldn’t recommend the Cordelle (or its other properties - we had our rehearsal dinner at the Estelle in East) and its staff more for anyone planning a special event.

cally zero amenities (aside from 2 rolling bars and a table. That’s all that’s included.) And while it is very high-end, and has beautiful architecture, I would think again if an outdoor ceremony is important to you. It is so close to the highway that you can hear EVERY car pass by loudly. We were told the traffic sound really isn’t that bad on a weekend, which definitely wasn’t true. It was distractingly loud. So loud, in fact, that most of our guests didn’t even hear our ceremony (Although I can’t put all the blame on the Cordelle for that one, because our DJ did not have great equipment to counteract that). We also rented security for the night, and while my husband and I were having what was supposed to be a private last dance, the head of security came in and started watching tiktoks on his phone on full volume, which ruined the moment. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Aside from that, we loved the venue itself, and if you can afford it, and afford all of the rentals you’ll have to purchase in addition to it, it’s definitely worth it.

year and a half we were planning our wedding. Their layout is programmed into allseated which made forming a layout extremely easy. Everything was executed perfectly the day of our wedding, with absolutely no stress placed on myself. The Cordelle has so many different picture-perfect backdrops, allowing us to only have to do wedding day pictures at the venue, instead of traveling all over Nashville. The only downfall with the venue is they typically have events every day, thus they were only able to have our rehearsal the morning before our wedding from 9-10 am, so we neglected to have a walk-through rehearsal at the venue prior to day-of.

nt manager, a security guard that is present on the day, brides can use the bridal suite which comes very much in handy and if you would like a space where you can curate the vision, then you are able to select your own vendors and put that vision to life.
My only suggestion to couples is that this venue does require some imagination and it took a great deal of research and ideas to identify how we wanted to decorate our reception area and since we were planning this wedding ourselves - that felt a little stressful. Of course you can choose to keep the venue as is, but since you have to import everything (including chairs, tables, etc). In my opinion, the venue can look a little bland without a bit of pizzazz, but when you add your own style and twist to it; it is amazing!
Last thing, the logistical staff is very responsive and helpful (you get two walkthroughs before your wedding day), however, towards the end when we wanted to add an hour or two (and purchase those hours) to accommodate wanting to do all makeup and hair on-site, it appeared that the event manager had thoughts about adding hours since we needed to be out of the venue at a certain time - and since our wedding was a few days away, at the time it began to feel there was miscommunication with our coordinator and the venue manager as well unnecessary concern of the venue since we would be willing to be charged extra if we went over our original allotted time. Ultimately, we just paid for the extra hour and it all went well. But that was my only thing that I felt like could have been handled differently.
Also, for any couples looking to host a summer wedding here - make sure you have a rain plan and once the dancing started in the reception area, it began to feel very warm to the point we even had to turn up the AC & turn on the fans. So keep in mind your reception layout which could impact the circulation of air.

Also, being able to get ready with my bridesmaids in the loft, as well as have both the ceremony & reception all at the same venue was a huge plus and alleviated a lot of wedding day stress. Not only that, but all of the staff was so helpful & accommodating leading up to the wedding & on the day of. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to host our wedding and I cannot recommend The Cordelle enough!!

As far as the venue itself, it was beautiful! Everything is clean, kept up very well, and the bridal suite is perfect for photos. Pretty much every angle, wall, corner is a great backdrop for photos! Lastly, we loved the proximity to downtown Nashville, and all of our guests enjoyed being able to experience the nightlife of the city so easily after the wedding. ay of—it was the perfect size and Mandy had coffee ready for us and let us come in even though we were almost 20 minutes early. The location was super convenient as well since it was close to the church where my ceremony was performed and also close to downtown, but not in the thick of all the traffic. They even gave my husband and myself a sweet, meaningful wedding gift! Such an amazing venue for weddings or really any event!

The bridal suite gave my bridesmaids and I a comfortable place to relax and get ready before the wedding - not to mention it was absolutely gorgeous.
We had our ceremony in the backyard and didn't need to do much to make it look stunning and special. The reception/cocktail hour was held on the porch and inside and, coupled with other amazing vendors, it made for the perfect backdrop to a perfect day.

When the sun set the French doors were opened to the porch so guests could enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The staff was welcoming, helpful and couldn't have been nicer from the first visit till the end of the wedding day. We kept hearing from our guests about what a gorgeous venue it was and how beautifully everything turned out.

! The venue is so beautiful, yet simple, so didn't need extravagant decorations.
We were sad we weren't able to utilize the garden area because of the weather, but the covered porch and inside ceremony turned out perfect! The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The bridal suite was the perfect place to get ready before the ceremony and large enough for the entire wedding party to relax in after pictures. We'd recommend The Cordelle to anyone!!

a blank slate that you can completely make your own. Every single person that we worked with was a dream! When the power went out right before our ceremony (not their fault - grid problem), the owner came by to check on us and see what she could do to make it better. They were so kind and as soon as the power was restored, the staff took fans and set them up in front of my husband and I to make sure we cooled off so we could go enjoy our party. Seriously, cannot speak highly enough of these fine people and the way they run their business!

ure you determine a price on the front end as the price discussed in my initial meeting was different from the email quote I received later on because of my wedding date and the changing prices the following year. I was a little thrown off to think I found a reception venue for one price during our meeting only to be met with a substantially higher price in my email confirmation. However, overall the staff is incredibly accommodating and you have free reign to be creative with the space.
