The Corley Mill House was built in 1908 and some of its original features have been preserved. Massive pecan trees line the drive that leads up to the stately white mansion. The back gardens boast a romantic gazebo where you can tie the knot while your loved ones look on from the lawn. Other features include a water wheel and a spacious deck where your guests can mingle during cocktail hour. Indoor celebrations such as dining can take place within the storied walls of the homes banquet hall and parlors. Large hearths, tongue-and-groove wall paneling, and warm oak flooring are some of the many design elements in the interior spaces. The venue also has large dressing suites customized for the Bride and Groom. The Bridal suite comes complete with a kitchen, full bathroom, hair and make-up cove, full dressing room, and a common area so your wedding party has ample space to prepare for the festivities.

They understand how important your wedding is and ensure you have ample time to celebrate in private. On-site catering services are offered by Scott Hall Catering, who will work with you to design your ideal menu. You are also welcome to bring in your own caterer and work with the vendors of your choice, and the venue can provide a list of preferred businesses to streamline the planning process. It is our goal to provide you the canvas to paint your own portrait of the wedding that you want.

Corley Mill was a perfect venue for us. From the start, they were very responsive, met with us, and cultivated a genuine relationship with my now husband and I. Mr. Banks answered phone calls on phone calls from me of random questions, concerns, etc. and always was there to help in any way possible. When I couldn't find a DJ in my price range, they went out of their way to help find us the perfect DJ. When my bridal portraits were canceled due to rain, they answered after hours to help reschedule. When a guest tripped thirty minutes before the ceremony, they went out of their way to make sure she was taken care of while still coordinating the start of the ceremony. Mrs. Banks and our coordinator were the perfect dynamic duo to handle all of the day of craziness with grace and ease. The whole staff was a joy to work with and made the day-of a breeze.
On top of the top-notch customer service and support, the venue itself is beautiful. A perfect background for all our bridal portraits and wedding photos. Our guests loved the many rooms to explore in the home, I loved the outdoor ceremony space, and my out of state wedding party loved the suites to get ready in. 10/10, cannot recommend them enough!
The Corley Mill House was perfect for our perfect day. John and Pam are the most amazing owners and are there for you along the way of planning your event. The day of coordinator was on top of everything and took away all the day of stress. The venue is so beautiful you barely need any decorations! It has its own charm. We got married outside and our photos and the scenery are absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend booking your next event at the Corley Mill House.

Hi Jessica: It was an honor to work with you and Alfie. The families were super kind and easy to work with!
John and Pam are absolutely incredible, and so are the day-of coordinators they employ! This venue truly is amazing. It is beautiful and I felt extremely taken care of and satisfied throughout the whole process.
Any questions?
The Corley Mill House was the perfect venue for our wedding! The garden was beautiful in September. John and out day of coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly and helped calm any stress! The bridal suite and groom suite were perfect for getting ready! Thank you so much Corley Mill!!!
The Corley Mill House was amazing. We had about 200 people attend our wedding and the venue accommodated everyone. The house is gorgeous and the surrounding garden is beautiful. Ours was an Indowestern ceremony and the owners of the house helped us and worked closely with our decorator to ensure everything was perfect. The bridal suite is huge and so pretty. There are so many great photo opportunities with the beautiful surroundings. The house itself is pretty enough that it decorates itself. We had part of our wedding in the main room of the house and another part outside in the gazebo. So pretty. I'm bouncing around in this review, but there are so many great things to say about our experience with this venue. If you want a beautiful wedding venue with great people to work with, this is the venue.
Our daughter and her fiancé chose this venue for their wedding on December 10, 2022. The Corley Mill House is a gorgeous venue. The owners John and Pam Banks are a pleasure to deal with, extremely professional and quick to answer any questions or concerns. The in house catering, Scott Hall, unfortunately is another story.
After meeting with Scott a week before the wedding, we felt confident that he would do a good job. We were so wrong. When you book Scott Hall, he is not only preparing food for your wedding, but other catering jobs as well, which we learned must overwhelm him and his staff. We were upgraded our catering packet and paid $1,900 more on top of what we were already paying. We paid for 100 guests (ended up with approximately 80). This is what we got:
Not enough staff to service our party
Passed hors-d’Oeuvres that were passed to the bridal party only and not the guests
Ice cold food at the reception (straight out of fridge where it sat for hours, if not days)
Sterno’s that we’re not lit on chafing dishes
An “action” station of cold shrimp and grits that was abandoned by staff and left with 2 tablespoons in it, not even serving spoons
No forks to eat the cold food with and when inquiries were first made about forks, guests were told to eat it with their hands
Quantity of cold food put out did not cover the 100 people we paid for it might have covered 70 at best
A chef who refused to come out of the kitchen to remedy the problem and locked the kitchen door
A staff who either would not or could not help us.
It was an extremely upsetting situation to deal with at my daughters reception. Receiving a full refund and an apology from Scott Hall almost a WEEK after the wedding after not hearing from him at all during the situation should have helped but we are still bummed out by the entire experience.
Again, the venue is gorgeous, bring in your own caterer!
Just had a 200 person wedding ceremony and reception at the Corley Mill House and everything went so smoothly and so beautifully!! The venue space was beautiful and well laid out. The owners and day-of-coordinator really made it though, they were so responsive throughout the entire process (and I had a LOT of questions during planning), gave suggestions when I asked and were so on it the day of the wedding! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue for so many reasons!
I can not speak highly enough about the communication and venue provided by John Banks who is the new owner at the Corley Mill House. We chose this venue for both my daughter and now my son's upcoming wedding based on many things, but John's vision for the future of this venue and the new additions, along with his wonderful personality, made The Corley Mill House the perfect spot for our events. The upgrades completed by John, the location, and the inclusion of many items needed for an event really made planning so easy. I highly recommend a visit to this venue as you make wedding plans. The grounds are beautiful, well kept, and easy to maneuver for all of your guests. The location is easily located for all those attending your event.
Owners, Mr. & Mrs. Banks, made all of my wedding dreams come true and more! For more than a year prior to my wedding, I was contacting John about my wants and needs and trust me when I tell you, he made it all happen. Everything was organized, well-communicated, personal, and better than I could have imagined! It was almost sad when my wedding day came as I was upset I wouldn’t be in such close contact with them- however, John reassured me that I was always welcome at his beautiful venue. I highly recommend this amazing, updated and renovated, one of a kind venue! ❤️

Thanks for your incredibly kind words. It is a pleasure to share a year with you and your family. We look forward to seeing all of you soon.
The Corley Mill House was the perfect place for our wedding and reception! From the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew that it was the right place for our dream wedding. The home and gardens will take you back to the charming and romantic "old south." The grounds are very well kept with gorgeous greenery, flowers, hanging lights, and decor. The gazebo was the perfect place for the ceremony. There are two porches, one off of the reception hall with a bar, and one on the side that overlooks the gazebo. The venue was very spacious for our guests. Tables are set up both indoors and outdoors. Our wedding was originally planned for April 18, 2020, but due to COVID, it had to be postponed to June 6, 2020. During the entire process, the venue owner (now previous venue owner, Sheila Hall) worked directly with us to ensure that we would still have the perfect day! During this time, the venue was also undergoing a change in ownership, but both Sheila and John (new owner) were so flexible and worked directly with us to meet our needs. They were very professional and personal. Over the 18 months of planning, were allowed to have as many planning sessions as we felt necessary. We were offered access to any decor that they had, and on the day of the event, we were arrive early/stay late for set up and clean up of our personal belongings. This place is basically a "one stop shop." Included in the venue price was catering, decor, tables, chairs, linens, dishes, flatware, servers, bartenders, set up/clean up, day of wedding coordinator, etc! This made the planning process so easy for us. The food was absolutely incredible for both rehearsal dinner and reception! There was a very large menu to choose from and the staff at both events were incredible! The house was a great place for the bridal party to get ready, and the grounds were gorgeous in pictures. Thank you, Sheila and John, for making our dreams come true at the Corley Mill House! We are blessed to have gone through this process with you!
Positives of the venue- GREAT space and BEAUTIFUL grounds, help with logistics from Nancy, they set things up for you (although they used the wrong candles in the lanterns).
Needs Improvement- FRIENDLINESS from bartender, cleanliness, quality of food and providing what is offered on the menu, taking the time to understand exactly how I wanted things set up, and making my family feel rushed to gather my belongings even though they were still on paid time.
Our experience with Corley Mill House and Gardens was amazing. Shella was great with answering questions and working with us on details such as our champagne toast. We wanted to have both champagne and sparkling grape juice. The staff worked the entire time we were there and the space was great with Bride and Groom suites we could sneak off to for a break from the crowd. Best of all was the food! Though we didn’t get to eat much at the reception. The staff made sure we had a picnic ready for our honeymoon. Please give them a visit and fall in love with the Corley Mill House like we did!
We got married at the Corley Mill House on a beautiful Saturday, 4/21/18! I can’t say enough good things about this venue. We loved working with Sheila and Nancy! Everything ran so smoothly the day of and we’re still getting compliments about how great everything was. They take care of so much it truly left us stress free. Definitely make the decision to have Nancy do your day of coordinating. She ran the day seamlessly. And of course, Scott Hall catering was fantastic. The food was delicious! We love the Corley Mill House and definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a perfect wedding day!
We were so pleased with Corley Mill House and Garden as the venue for our wedding reception. It was a beautiful day for an indoor/outdoor reception. Our menu selections were delicious. I did feel like they were slightly overpriced, but we were pleased overall with the service we received.
My husband and I really wanted to get married outdoors and they have a fantastic gazebo and lawn. Then we used the house for the reception.;It also doubles as an alpaca farm so there is the possibility of an unpleasant odor though that did not happen to us.
