The staff is amazing! I can’t say enough good things about them. From the very beginning, the planning process was smooth and stress-free, and their communication was always clear, timely, and so helpful. They genuinely cared about me, my day, and every little detail. I felt so supported and taken care of the entire time, which allowed me to relax, be present, and actually enjoy every moment.

The buildings and grounds were established in 1911 by John Padden, son of Fredericksburg’s founder, Frederick. Following other incarnations, such as a bed and breakfast, a winery, and a distillery, the estate at Woodland Farm is being carefully restored by Katie Maynes. Katie has renovated the farmhouse and barn to provide fantastic countryside surroundings for your once-in-a-lifetime celebration. The premises are the picture-perfect background for your photo shoots, with wonderful willow trees and gorgeous, whimsical gardens. The Cottage at Woodland Farm combines history with modern elegance and rustic charm, making it the ideal setting to tie the knot, spend cherished moments with loved ones, and create lifelong magical memories.
The venue comprises outdoor and indoor event spaces for ceremonies and receptions, and cozy overnight accommodation is available to ensure peace of mind and convenience.
