The neutral, clean lines of the venue, and ample décor options helped bring our vision to life. Kim, Bailey and our Day of Coordinator helped us stay organized, and they were always there to answer any of our questions. Our guests could not stop complimenting the space, especially the wonderful mantel in the reception space. We could not be happier with the care we were shown, and how amazing our wedding day was. ughout our engagement and were always reassured that there was heat and our guests would be warm in the reception barn. We had our final walkthrough and asked about the propane heaters they had in storage. We were told they don’t rent them out anymore because the barn was heated and not to worry. The day of our wedding came and it was a windy 30 degree day. The first cold day of fall. Family members decorated the reception barn in the morning, their fingers were red and numb because it was so cold inside the barn. We asked about the heat and were told it was on and would warm up. The day went on and the reception barn did not get above 54 degrees. Our guests were wearing jackets while they ate, my 88 year old grandmother was wrapped in blankets. Guests were going to the bathroom or their vehicles just to warm up. We had the property until 11 and everyone had left by 930 because they were cold. We were not able to do the dollar dance because so many guests left early. We were very disappointed and contacted the owners wanting a partial refund. They responded saying they have a seasonal venue and are climate controlled for fall temps not winter. They gave us $250 back, not even a fourth of what we paid. We feel we should have gotten more money back. They should not be advertising a climate controlled building. They reassured us throughout the day that our guests would be warm and did nothing to actually make that happen. They knew the weather forecast for the day and could’ve used other things to help heat the building for us and our guests. Many of our guests have contacted us since our wedding apologizing for leaving early, saying they were too cold to stay longer. Many guests have also asked us why it was so cold if we were told it was heated. Overall, the venue is beautiful but we had a very negative experience there. We will not recommend the cottage farmhouse to others.

Even when we had to make some plan changes the day of due to weather (a bride's worst nightmare!), moving our outdoor ceremony indoors was a smooth transition and worked out so well!

MAZING! It rained during our reception and when I say rained I mean it flash flood type of rain!! If it wasn’t for the new French doors we would have been soaked. Everyone was so helpful as well! It was just perfect!

e picture locations are gorgeous and there’s so many to choose from and the getting ready areas are spacious and beautiful. i would totally recommend getting married here if you want a barn venue because they have both a ceremony and reception barn and my wedding went so smoothly and i wasn’t worried about a thing !

t everyone could relax and enjoy the day. She kept the timing for the wedding, queued the wedding party processional, queued the DJ, worked with every vendor for us. She took all of the burden off of us and we could not have done it without her! TCF has an amazing team that is so positive and sweet, they truly do anything to make your day easy and beautiful. The venue is stunning, they just renovated the reception barn and added on, which was an amazing surprise for us. There are many spots for guests to be during cocktail hour and the reception. The bonfire pit, pergola, and patio were a hit! Both the bridal cottage and granary for the bridesmaids and groomsmen were the perfect spots to get ready. There was plenty of space, a full bathroom and kitchen, mirrors and natural lighting. The granary has a ping pong and pool table for the groomsmen. Their prices are great, they can accommodate for a wide range of guests, and have multiple options for ceremony and reception locations. The catering company they work with has 3 tiers for all different pricing, cuisines and styles. I could go on about how incredible our venue was, I recommend The Cottage Farmhouse to everyone!!

The staff is top notch. You get a personal day of gal, Kelsie. She made my day chaos free and took care of so many details no bride wants to worry about on their big day. Kim and Bailey were so great to work with and are literally the sweet humans. I wouldn’t have changed one thing on my entire wedding day and that’s all thanks to the Cottage Farmhouse.

There was plenty of room for everyone and had all of our guests comment what a beautiful venue it was. Kim and Bailey made the day so easy, and we’re always quick to respond if I had any questions. We booked the day of coordinator, Kelsie, and couldn’t have done it without her. It’s worth it to not be the go to person on your wedding day, and she was there to assist with the vendors and kept the entire day running smoothly. I wouldn’t change a thing and would highly recommend The Cottage Farmhouse - a huge bonus is all the different locations for pictures, especially at sunset.

Day of things started to go downhill and Kim stepped in and made sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. There is a dedicated caterer for this venue but there are 3 different catering options you can choose from depending on your pricing. The Cottage farmhouse did not steer us wrong with their choice of vendor. The food was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this venue to anyone ☺️

Location wise, we wished there were hotels closer by for guests but this isn’t the venue’s fault. Be sure to plan a shuttle for your guests or make plans beforehand! The venue has a handful of places to take amazing photos before and after the wedding. Our guests loved the bonfire pit and room for bag toss and what not. Thank you for an amazing day!

! Kim is very great to work with, she answered our countless questions, and in a very timely manner. My bridesmaids and I LOVED the bridal cottage, and my husband and his groomsmen loved their space as well. We used the outdoor ceremony space, which was just gorgeous and green. The “indoor” reception area was rustic yet elegant, which is what we wanted. Definitely would recommend having your wedding at the Cottage Farmhouse!!

other positive adjective you could assign to someone. We booked our wedding the first week of March 2020, right before COVID hit, and at the time we didn't think it would be an issue. We proceeded forward thinking that 15 months later COVID would no longer be an issue but clearly we were wrong. Kim and Bailey met with us multiple times, talked us off the ledge, provided us insight into the previous years weddings during the height of COVID, and did everything they could to reassure us that everything would be handled professionally, safely and really set our minds at ease. It was nice working with The Cottage Farmhouse and their exclusive food/beverage vendor, A'Britin Catering. This arrangement let us rest easy that everything would go off without a hitch. Having that exclusive relationship reassures you that they've been there before, they've hosted weddings and prepared food there before, they've bartended/catered there before and know all of the important aspects (where to set up, where to cook, where to put the bar, etc). Speaking of the bar, they have this really cute trailer they use as the bar, which is called Hitch & Sip bar on wheels. They have a beautiful home on the property that is used as the bridal suite. It's an old farm house with all the amenities the bride and her bridesmaids could need to prepare for the big day. The groom and groomsmen have an area of their own separate of the bridal suite that allows them to get ready and relax. The room is outfit with a pool table/ping pong table, a mini fridge, ample lighting and air conditioning for those hot and humid Minnesota Summer days. They have two locations on the property that can be used for the wedding ceremony and they are both absolutely beautiful. The reception barn was perfect for both the reception and the dance to follow. If all of this sounds like a lot, they have an absolutely wonderful wedding coordinator that I would recommend everyone work with if you so choose that service. Kelsie, the wedding coordinator, was there for anything we needed and if there was anything out of sorts or that went wrong, neither of us were ever aware. Overall, there isn't one thing bad we could say about The Cottage Farmhouse. The property, the owners, the wedding coordinator were A++. We will play this day over in our minds for the rest of our lives, and we will never have anything but fond memories when thinking of The Cottage Farmhouse.

, which is adorable and homey. There was more than enough space, and it had a perfect setup for makeup and hair. The boys has a great time in the granary as well. There were lots of great spots for pictures and we can't wait to see our professional photos of the property. We originally wanted to get married outside, but decided to do the ceremony in the main barn. It was stunning...! I can't count how many compliments we got on the barn. The pergola and reception barn were spacious and wonderful for entertainment, which was nice especially during these crazy times. Kim, Bailey, Kelsie, and Aunyah were all very helpful and made sure everything was perfect on the wedding day. They were great to work with. Thanks ladies!! We are so glad we chose The Cottage Farmhouse for our big day and will cherish it forever.
