We absolutely are in love with your venue! All our pictures turned out amazing, there were so many different spots to take photographs, even throughout the rain! Our guests had nothing but raving things to say about the amazing staff, venue services & overall beauty of the venue. We will recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful barn venue to get married at! Thank you Amy, Kim & Bailey for everything!

Bailey and Kim were fantastic to work with! They answered all questions that we had promptly and were more than happy to do so! They provided our day of coordinator, Amy, who was an absolute God send! She would answer texts even on her off days and helped us get through the day with such ease and grace! Our wedding day would not have been as amazing as it was if it were not for the team at The Cottage Farmhouse!

My husband and I were very disappointed with our experience at the cottage farmhouse. Our wedding was late October and we had asked about the venue being heated multiple times throughout our engagement and were always reassured that there was heat and our guests would be warm in the reception barn. We had our final walkthrough and asked about the propane heaters they had in storage. We were told they don’t rent them out anymore because the barn was heated and not to worry. The day of our wedding came and it was a windy 30 degree day. The first cold day of fall. Family members decorated the reception barn in the morning, their fingers were red and numb because it was so cold inside the barn. We asked about the heat and were told it was on and would warm up. The day went on and the reception barn did not get above 54 degrees. Our guests were wearing jackets while they ate, my 88 year old grandmother was wrapped in blankets. Guests were going to the bathroom or their vehicles just to warm up. We had the property until 11 and everyone had left by 930 because they were cold. We were not able to do the dollar dance because so many guests left early. We were very disappointed and contacted the owners wanting a partial refund. They responded saying they have a seasonal venue and are climate controlled for fall temps not winter. They gave us $250 back, not even a fourth of what we paid. We feel we should have gotten more money back. They should not be advertising a climate controlled building. They reassured us throughout the day that our guests would be warm and did nothing to actually make that happen. They knew the weather forecast for the day and could’ve used other things to help heat the building for us and our guests. Many of our guests have contacted us since our wedding apologizing for leaving early, saying they were too cold to stay longer. Many guests have also asked us why it was so cold if we were told it was heated. Overall, the venue is beautiful but we had a very negative experience there. We will not recommend the cottage farmhouse to others.

The Cottage Farmhouse is perfect for your wedding day venue! We absolutely loved having our wedding here, it is beautiful and the staff is very attentive. They were so helpful leading up to and on our big day. Highly recommend having your wedding at this stunning venue!

We got married at TCF in October and it was the most perfect day ever. The entire day went seamlessly thanks to our coordinator, vendors, and all the staff on venue! It is the perfect little barn venue and the pictures and memories will last a lifetime. The owners also surprised us morning of the wedding with a sweet wedding gift of personalized cookies and draping services (because they had done a shoot earlier that week!) I could not recommend TCF more, and the people we worked with made it all the better and memorable!!

The Cottage Farmhouse could not have worked out better for our day! Bailey, Kim, and Jersey were very communicative and answered all of our questions. Bailey and Kim have put so much work into this venue and it shows! Our guests could not stop complimenting the venue, and we had a ton of space for our 190 guests! Even when we had to make some plan changes the day of due to weather (a bride's worst nightmare!), moving our outdoor ceremony indoors was a smooth transition and worked out so well!

We absolutely loved our experience at the cottage farmhouse. The owners were so friendly - they were very responsive over email and answered all of our questions. We got a day of coordinator when we booked our wedding and she made the day run so smoothly. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was along with how good the catering was. We also loved all the locations available to use! Overall, would highly recommend!

We had the BEST day! I absolutely adored the staff and they made the experience so easy. The bridal cottage was such a fun area to get ready with my girls & the decor package was a life saver & I could not imagine our special day anywhere else!

I had my wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse at the end of September of 2023. It was a perfect day! I couldn’t recommend the venue more. The ceremony space and the reception barn is AMAZING! It rained during our reception and when I say rained I mean it flash flood type of rain!! If it wasn’t for the new French doors we would have been soaked. Everyone was so helpful as well! It was just perfect!

The Cottage Farmhouse was an amazing place to have our wedding. The team there is really nice and easy to work with. The venue itself is beautiful, and it was great to have indoor and outdoor options that we loved. They were reasonably priced compared to many other farm venues in the broader Twin Cities area. We are very glad we got married here!

The cottage farmhouse is one of the prettiest barn venues i’ve ever seen!! the owners are the sweetest people and they have a ton of people help you throughout your wedding day! the picture locations are gorgeous and there’s so many to choose from and the getting ready areas are spacious and beautiful. i would totally recommend getting married here if you want a barn venue because they have both a ceremony and reception barn and my wedding went so smoothly and i wasn’t worried about a thing !

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about the venue and everyone we worked with. I highly recommend also booking the day-of coordinator option. Kelsie took care of everything so that everyone could relax and enjoy the day. She kept the timing for the wedding, queued the wedding party processional, queued the DJ, worked with every vendor for us. She took all of the burden off of us and we could not have done it without her! TCF has an amazing team that is so positive and sweet, they truly do anything to make your day easy and beautiful. The venue is stunning, they just renovated the reception barn and added on, which was an amazing surprise for us. There are many spots for guests to be during cocktail hour and the reception. The bonfire pit, pergola, and patio were a hit! Both the bridal cottage and granary for the bridesmaids and groomsmen were the perfect spots to get ready. There was plenty of space, a full bathroom and kitchen, mirrors and natural lighting. The granary has a ping pong and pool table for the groomsmen. Their prices are great, they can accommodate for a wide range of guests, and have multiple options for ceremony and reception locations. The catering company they work with has 3 tiers for all different pricing, cuisines and styles. I could go on about how incredible our venue was, I recommend The Cottage Farmhouse to everyone!!

The owner's were super easy to get in contact with. They keep the place in perfect condition. They were even in attendance on the day of to make sure everything was running smoothly. There whole team was amazing and I would recommend this venue to anyone. It was the best day of our lives in large part due to the venue!!

Bailey and Kim are amazing! They worked with me and allowed me to bring in my own cake for me and my husband to eat because I have celiac disease. They are very friendly and truly made our day the best it could be! They made us feel special and really worked with u every step of the way! Bailey helped fluff my dress right before I walked down the aisle. All of our guests felt welcomed, they had a blast, loved the venue, loved the food, and loved the decor. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Bailey and Kim at the Cottage Farmhouse every time! I cannot say it enough, our day was truly the best and I owe it to Kim and Bailey. The Cottage Farmhouse is worth every penny! I highly, highly recommend The Cottage Farmhouse!

The Cottage Farmhouse surpassed every single expectation I had going into my wedding day. Every single guest at our wedding was in awe of the venue. It’s such a cozy feel with such beautiful touches whether it be in the decor options the venue provides (makes cleaning up at the end of the night sooo nice), the gorgeous ceremony barn, their updated reception barn, or the stunning pergola which is beautifully designed for any type of aesthetic you’re going for. The staff is top notch. You get a personal day of gal, Kelsie. She made my day chaos free and took care of so many details no bride wants to worry about on their big day. Kim and Bailey were so great to work with and are literally the sweet humans. I wouldn’t have changed one thing on my entire wedding day and that’s all thanks to the Cottage Farmhouse.

I can’t even find words to describe how perfect The Cottage Farmhouse is! From the overall aesthetic to the minor details such as florals, tables, and chairs, this venue was a dream come true for my husband and I! Throughout the whole day, we got numerous comments on how beautiful everything was. Kim, Bailey, and Kelsie were AMAZING to work with and truly genuinely want your vision to come to life. They offer a wonderful decor package that helps keep the natural glow of the farm. 100000000% recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! In addition, the new renovations to the reception barn were to die for!

A super practical and cute venue! The first dance was able to be in the middle of the tables so everyone could see! We also loved that if people didn’t want to dance they had plenty of room to sit and still be a part of the party!

We had the best wedding day we could have ever imagined! The owners were great to work with, and the venue has decor packages and a coordinator if you choose to use them- of course as additional costs. It was amazing to have those two options available through the venue! It made the day so stress free for us. The venue is beautiful.

Our wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse was flawless, I have nothing but good things to say about the venue. The bridal suite had plenty of room for me and my bridesmaids to get ready the day of, and was perfect to have a separate spot for the guys to get ready. We got married in the barn and had dinner under the pergola - the dinner turned out stunning with all the draping. There was plenty of room for everyone and had all of our guests comment what a beautiful venue it was. Kim and Bailey made the day so easy, and we’re always quick to respond if I had any questions. We booked the day of coordinator, Kelsie, and couldn’t have done it without her. It’s worth it to not be the go to person on your wedding day, and she was there to assist with the vendors and kept the entire day running smoothly. I wouldn’t change a thing and would highly recommend The Cottage Farmhouse - a huge bonus is all the different locations for pictures, especially at sunset.

I couldn’t have asked for a more positive and stress free experience! Not only is it absolutely beautiful at The Cottage Farmhouse, but they have everything you could possibly need for decorations and planning packages! I wouldn’t have changed anything about our day! We booked this venue with out even seeing it in person and we are so happy we did! It’s even better in person!

Perfect venue for a wedding and both Kim and Bailey are amazing. They were both so easy to work with and immediately answer any questions. 2 weeks before I decide to utilize the deluxe decor package and the ease of using that and the beautiful decor provided was worth the extra cost. Day of things started to go downhill and Kim stepped in and made sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. There is a dedicated caterer for this venue but there are 3 different catering options you can choose from depending on your pricing. The Cottage farmhouse did not steer us wrong with their choice of vendor. The food was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this venue to anyone ☺️

The Cottage Farmhouse offered a beautiful summer setting for our wedding day. The ceremony barn and reception barn are both gorgeous. We chose to have our reception outside in the pergola with white drapes (highly recommend). The owners are extremely organized and knowledgeable and made sure everything ran smoothly. Location wise, we wished there were hotels closer by for guests but this isn’t the venue’s fault. Be sure to plan a shuttle for your guests or make plans beforehand! The venue has a handful of places to take amazing photos before and after the wedding. Our guests loved the bonfire pit and room for bag toss and what not. Thank you for an amazing day!

The best venue EVER!!! We couldn’t have dreamed of getting married anywhere else. Kim and Bailey are so accommodating and flexible. This was an amazing venue to get married at! It was very reasonably priced compared to other venues. The buildings were beautiful, our guests were complimenting the place all night! Kim is very great to work with, she answered our countless questions, and in a very timely manner. My bridesmaids and I LOVED the bridal cottage, and my husband and his groomsmen loved their space as well. We used the outdoor ceremony space, which was just gorgeous and green. The “indoor” reception area was rustic yet elegant, which is what we wanted. Definitely would recommend having your wedding at the Cottage Farmhouse!!

We had such a great experience at the Cottage Farmhouse! The venue is beautiful, and it was the absolute perfect place for our wedding. My wife and I just married this past weekend, May 1st, and I could not write the review fast enough. Kim and Bailey, the owners, were polite, professional, patient, kind and every other positive adjective you could assign to someone. We booked our wedding the first week of March 2020, right before COVID hit, and at the time we didn't think it would be an issue. We proceeded forward thinking that 15 months later COVID would no longer be an issue but clearly we were wrong. Kim and Bailey met with us multiple times, talked us off the ledge, provided us insight into the previous years weddings during the height of COVID, and did everything they could to reassure us that everything would be handled professionally, safely and really set our minds at ease. It was nice working with The Cottage Farmhouse and their exclusive food/beverage vendor, A'Britin Catering. This arrangement let us rest easy that everything would go off without a hitch. Having that exclusive relationship reassures you that they've been there before, they've hosted weddings and prepared food there before, they've bartended/catered there before and know all of the important aspects (where to set up, where to cook, where to put the bar, etc). Speaking of the bar, they have this really cute trailer they use as the bar, which is called Hitch & Sip bar on wheels. They have a beautiful home on the property that is used as the bridal suite. It's an old farm house with all the amenities the bride and her bridesmaids could need to prepare for the big day. The groom and groomsmen have an area of their own separate of the bridal suite that allows them to get ready and relax. The room is outfit with a pool table/ping pong table, a mini fridge, ample lighting and air conditioning for those hot and humid Minnesota Summer days. They have two locations on the property that can be used for the wedding ceremony and they are both absolutely beautiful. The reception barn was perfect for both the reception and the dance to follow. If all of this sounds like a lot, they have an absolutely wonderful wedding coordinator that I would recommend everyone work with if you so choose that service. Kelsie, the wedding coordinator, was there for anything we needed and if there was anything out of sorts or that went wrong, neither of us were ever aware. Overall, there isn't one thing bad we could say about The Cottage Farmhouse. The property, the owners, the wedding coordinator were A++. We will play this day over in our minds for the rest of our lives, and we will never have anything but fond memories when thinking of The Cottage Farmhouse.

My fiance and I got married at The Cottage Farmhouse on October 16, 2020. It was a fall dream...! The venue is absolutely breath taking. We started our day in the bridal cottage, which is adorable and homey. There was more than enough space, and it had a perfect setup for makeup and hair. The boys has a great time in the granary as well. There were lots of great spots for pictures and we can't wait to see our professional photos of the property. We originally wanted to get married outside, but decided to do the ceremony in the main barn. It was stunning...! I can't count how many compliments we got on the barn. The pergola and reception barn were spacious and wonderful for entertainment, which was nice especially during these crazy times. Kim, Bailey, Kelsie, and Aunyah were all very helpful and made sure everything was perfect on the wedding day. They were great to work with. Thanks ladies!! We are so glad we chose The Cottage Farmhouse for our big day and will cherish it forever.

Celebrating our wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse made for the best day! Working with Kim and Bailey was great, they were so accommodating when we had to reschedule our original date! Although we were not able to have our wedding on the date we expected or how we always fully envisioned it, we seriously could not have asked for a better day and Kim and Bailey are to thank for so much of that! The property is beyond beautiful and we received so many compliments from our guests! Attending their summer open house really helped me to find a lot of my vendors and they were all top notch to work with throughout the whole planning process! I will definitely be recommending The Cottage Farmhouse to any newly engaged couples!!

Having our wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse was an absolute dream. Not surprising at all, but we received so many compliments on the venue and how beautiful the entire property was. Our wedding planner, Aunyah, was such a joy to work with and made sure even with a little rain, things stayed as close as possible to schedule and went off without a hitch.

The venue was set up very beautifully and the whole team did a great job of making the property look perfect for our special day. I was impressed with the contact we got with Bailey and Kim, especially in the midst of the pandemic. They were very open and easy to communicate with, and they both really stuck to their word. The venue is beautiful and there is plenty of space to accommodate guests. They also did everything they could to make sure everyone remained safe during the pandemic. There is not one bad thing I could say about The Cottage Farmhouse! The staff are all so sweet & really want your day to be perfect! We hired Kelsie the planner at the venue for day of only & she’s absolutely amazing! The venue is so beautiful in itself so you don’t need to go overboard on decorations to make it look nice! We had the most perfect day even with a few bouts of rain!

BOOK THE COTTAGE FARMHOUSE! Kim and Bailey were so wonderful to work with. Covid-19 may have changed some of our plans, but they ensured that our day was still magical. Bailey even worked behind the scenes with one of my aunts to plan the best surprise car parade after our ceremony! Kelsey, the wedding planner, helped to make my vision come to light, too! The venue is absolutely stunning. So much space to roam— not to mention the best backdrops for pictures! The bridal cottage is beautifully decorated and gives the entire bridal party enough room to get ready. The granary also provides the wedding party space to relax before the ceremony. Book this venue- you will not regret it. In fact, we will be back next year for our post-COVID wedding reception!

The setting is so beautiful with gorgeous buildings and a variety of functionality to choose from. We had an amazing experience and the owners were so excited for us to be there and did everything they could to make our event memorable and it was! So accommodating, kind and very concerned with the details that mattered to us. I can’t wait to go back and experience The Cottage Farmhouse again!!!

My fiancé and I had a terrible experience with the owners of the venue. After booking with them and clarifying that we needed accommodations for 200 guests, and being assured it would not be a problem we proceeded to plan our wedding. Booking vendors for photography, floral, music, dessert, and spent hours talking through catering and more. After trying to reach out to local hotels multiple times to create a room block for guests we finally heard back and were hit with laughter from staff. We found out that nearly all hotels were booked in a 40 min radius for a local event that was celebrating its 150th anniversary. After talking with the owners Kim and Bailey at The Cottage Farmhouse, they did make some calls for us and found roughly 40 rooms spread out in various hotels within a 40 min drive of the venue. In addition to the rooms being spread out so much that shuttling to and from would have been unreasonable, 14 of the beds were communal living at the local bed and breakfast. As much as it was great of them to try to help, where it was rather disgusting to us is they felt this was sufficient for 200 guests all traveling a minimum of 2 hour to attend and some traveling out of the country and out of state. Even going so far as to pat themselves on the back for their assistance. Either they are unaware of local impeding events happening locally (not a great look for a wedding coordinating business) or they did know about the event and are willing to lie rather than have best intentions for their clients. Either way, we recommend skipping this venue. In addition to this there were many hidden fees and a lot of restrictions within their one approved catering company.

My fiancé and I had the absolute WORST experience with the owners (Kim and Bailey). I strongly encourage you to avoid this location. Our issue wasn’t with the venue itself- the venue is quite beautiful. Our issue came into play by the deceptive owners. We took a tour of this property in September and we really enjoyed the venue itself. We let Kim know multiple times that we have a wedding party of 220 people and many would be coming from out of state/country and that hotel accommodations were a vital part of the wedding process. Kim ASSURED us we would have absolutely no issues getting a hotel and we trusted her expertise. We ended up booking our wedding date for Friday, July 24th a couple days after the tour and reached out to the hotels to set up a hotel block for the night of the wedding. To our surprise, we were actually laughed at by the hotels for thinking there would be a block available for this weekend. We were informed that July 24th just so happened to be the 150th anniversary of the Wright County Fair and there was a Tractor Pull event that same night.. we were informed that hotels had been booked since last year. This event has taken place the same weekend every year for the last 150 years and the owners decided not to mention that to us when we spoke to the importance of hotel accommodations. (The closest hotel that could accommodate a block was in Chaska which is 40 miles away.) We reached out to Kim and Bailey and asked them about this and they informed us that it isn’t their job to know what’s going on in the community. We found this answer shocking as that is absolutely something their company should be aware of. They did say they wanted to try and help the situation and let us know they’d get back to us. When they called us back- their resolution was that they had found a total of 30 hotel rooms split among 4 different hotels in 4 different cities.. this “solution” was absolutely ridiculous for so many reasons. Their only other offer was to switch our date which we also couldn’t do since many of our guests had already booked their flights to Minnesota. We nicely and professionally reached out to Kim and Bailey again and explained that we unfortunately would have to cancel our venue booking since we had no reasonable hotel accommodations. Kim and Bailey informed us that we would NOT be getting our deposit back since a contract had been signed. We again reminded them that the contract was signed because they assured us they could meet our demands. We sent them another email and they again replied with the fact that a contract had been signed and that they will be keeping our deposit. Unbelievable.

The Cottage Farmhouse is absolutely stunning! Growing up 5 miles from the venue I watched as it transformed from a farm to a beautiful wedding venue the past few years. Its location couldn't be better, you are close enough to the cities but far enough away to still feel a combination of city and country. Before my husband and I got engaged, my mom and I visited their open house and fell in love with the property! While planning our wedding, we did it from out of state, but Kim and Bailey were a joy to work with as they responded swiftly. They don't treat you like the next couple that is getting married at their venue. They are just as invested in your wedding as you are, as they want your wedding day to be one of the best days of your life. If you want to Venue that has everything in one location along with Owners who are going to do everything in their power to make it the best day possible The Cottage Farmhouse is the venue for you.

I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect venue in the engagement process and I found it with the Cottage Farmhouse. We received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the space is and I am reminded of it every time I look at our wedding photos! It is the perfect combination of rustic and elegant and I love what they have done with the layout. Kim and Bailey were very easy going and great to work with- always in communication, even over little things (and they truly cared about our big day)! We also had Kelsie as our wedding coordinator and she was a complete lifesaver and handled every little detail so I didn't have to stress. If I had to go back and do it all over again, I would chose the Cottage Farmhouse every time!

Hands down 12/10 review! The Cottage Farmhouse is a DREAM! Bailey and Kim were helpful throughout the whole process making wedding planning a breeze. The CFH is naturally gorgeous but we decided to use some of their decor options which were beautiful and made things SO simple. The fact that we didn't have to buy (and then try to sell later) decor was SO NICE! Also, if you're debating on hiring Kelsie (wedding coordinator), DO IT! She is worth her weight in gold and then some! Along with choosing the CFH as a venue, having Kelsie there was the best decision I made during wedding planning. She made me completely stress-free the day of. I knew she was there working her magic and keeping things on track. Even my dad was SUPER impressed! I could go on and on on what a blessing Kelsie was to us! You will not regret choosing the CFH or Kelsie to be apart of your big day!

I had such an amazing wedding day thanks to The Cottage Farmhouse! Everyone there made my day so special and so easy. Kim and Bailey were so much fun to work with and answered every single question I had right away. Kelsie was a Rockstar wedding planner/coordinator! She handled everything for me and I didn’t even have to lift a finger!! She was so great!! I am so happy with how perfect my wedding day was and I am even more grateful to The Cottage Farmhouse for the wonderful venue and for making my wedding day perfect! An excellent venue all around!

I had the best wedding ever last weekend at The Cottage Farmhouse. It was not only everything I had imagined but it was even better. The imagines I had in my head came to life on the farm. The staff is amazing easy to get in touch with always willing to answer any and all questions and willing to work with you to get the wedding of your dreams. There are so many beautiful photo opportunities on the property. The wedding coordinator Kelsie is an absolute treasure. She will make sure everything goes perfectly on your day. I was completely stress free because I knew I could trust Kelsie to make all the details come together! Kindred blooms made my wild flower dreams come true which looked fabulous in the reception area at the farm!

GORGEOUS venue with AMAZING owners. The entire process, from start to finish, they truly cared about us and did everything they could to help us make our day unforgettable. Every last minute email was promptly answered which took a lot of the stress off of the final days. And even when keepsake items were left at the venue Kim and Bailey did more than enough to help us get them back. Truly incredible people! Even if you're not getting married you need to get out and see this venue and meet these people. You won't be disappointed. This venue offers both indoor and outdoor locations for the ceremony and reception which makes weather less of a concern when planning a big event so far in the future. On the day of the owners did a perfect job of being available for any last minute questions about decorations without feeling like they were constantly around and looming over everything. VERY well done and VERY professional. We recommend 10/10.

The Cottage Farmhouse was amazing. Such a beautiful venue that left everyone speechless. They were so easy to work with! Would highly recommend.
