The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek

We had the most incredible experience with The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek and would 10000% recommend it to any couple looking for a stunning, truly all-inclusive venue with an amazing team! The setting is beautifully designed—elevated rustic/vintage (idk how to describe it best), and thoughtfully laid out with unique pockets for each part of the day. It’s open and airy, but also intimate and intentional. We chose the all-inclusive package, and it was worth every penny. As a DIY family, we usually prefer to handle things ourselves—but I was so relieved to hand it all off. It included: - Catering – Delicious, timely, and raved about by guests (especially the corn crème brûlée!). - Cake – A 3-tier masterpiece. The best carrot cake I’ve ever had, plus lemon/blueberry and white chocolate raspberry layers plus an anniversary cake packed up and ready to go home with us. - Photo & Video – Choose from a curated list. We LOVED Emily Montgomery Photography & Good Human Productions—professional, kind, and soooo incredibly talented!! - DJ – He kept everything running smoothly and the dance floor packed all night!! - Florals – Absolutely beautiful. My bouquet and altar florals in particular were spot on. - Open bar – Friendly, efficient bartenders. No long lines! Beer & Wine was included in the package - we upgraded to include liquor too. - Décor – They have a whole room full of beautiful options—linens, flatware, candles (yes - live flame candles!), signage, etc. - Day-of coordination – Pamela was calm, organized, and amazing. There aren't enough amazing words to say about her. Really, the whole staff was kind and professional! - Rehearsal & dinner – Rehearsal was included, and we hosted our dinner in the White Room (extra cost but so worth it) - Bridal and Grooms Suite: Beautiful, spacious, and you can access them as early as you'd like! You will have to clear your stuff out before the ceremony though - they have cleaners come in during the ceremonies. Everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. If there were issues, I didn’t know about them—and that’s a sign of a great team. Planning was organized and efficient. When a few details changed from our original tour, the team worked with us respectfully to find solutions. Bottom line: It was the perfect day, and I wouldn’t change a thing. The Cotton Gin delivered in every way!

I loved working with this entire team. My wedding was absolutely wonderful because of them. They are understanding, professional, and they make you feel like they care. The pictures from the venue also do not lie, everyone in my wedding was so impressed with the place by itself. You can see it in my smile that I love this place.

One of the things we loved most is how they brought our vision to life. We had some fun, crazy ideas for our wedding, and instead of saying no, they said, “Let’s make it happen!” And they did—perfectly. Every detail was executed with care, making the night feel uniquely us. This venue is located in a smaller town in Georgia, so not many people know about it—but they should! It is hands-down one of the best wedding venues out there, and we want as many couples as possible to experience the same incredible day that we did. The Cotton Gin staff was amazing! We were from out of town and having our wedding in a central location to our guest was key! Kaci my sales person to Grace our day of and Amanda the owner truly made us feel at ease and let our day go great! The venue and the food was great and they listened to how we wanted to personalize their venue to make it our own!

Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives! We received so many compliments from our guests. The Cotton Gin staff was amazing throughout the entire process. Food was delicious, decor was gorgeous, flowers were breathtaking. Sheila really took my vision and brought it to life with all of our flowers and the table decor. It brought tears to my eyes with how beautiful everything was. I also wanted to give a special shoutout to Kim - she was such a calming person to be around and gave the best wedding day advice. She is a treasure! We wanted a beautiful wedding that we didn't have to do all the coordinating for, and we sure got it. Thank you so much for our dream wedding!

The cotton gin was such a great venue. They took care of so much for us and was very helpful coordinating everything to make our day perfect. They make the wedding process easier for busy brides. The only thing I wish is that they included the day to be just a little longer but they give you the option to pay extra for more time. We had such a beautiful day and everyone was so nice, kind, and more than helpful. They do everything to make it go smooth for you.

I had my wedding at the Cotton Gin at Mill Creek on 6/1/24. It was truly the best day of our lives! We went with the Cotton Gin's all inclusive package. Not only were we able to have the most beautiful wedding for an affordable price (as far as weddings go!) but the CG staff was amazing throughout the entire process. As a busy law student, there was no way I could have planned our wedding without the expertise and dedication of the CG staff. For other Type A brides like myself who like to do everything themselves, the all inclusive package was a nice balance between having help but still planning the details yourself. Amanda, the owner, and the rest of the CG staff were so supportive throughout the entire wedding planning process. They happily answered all of my (endless) questions and were very informative throughout our entire engagement. The venue is beautiful and truly one of a kind. Amazing food, DJs, photographers, and videographers. All of our guests have told us our wedding was one of the best weddings they had been to, and it is all because of the hardworking staff at the Cotton Gin! I am so grateful we had our wedding here and I encourage everyone to book the Cotton Gin for the wedding of their dreams.

I had my wedding at the Cotton Gin at Mill Creek and I cannot recommend this venue enough. The entire process was so easy from start to finish. Every single staff member was so nice and extremely helpful. They are so organized and have everything you could ever need. I got so many compliments about how beautiful the wedding was and how good the food and music was. Kayla was our wedding coordinator and she was so delightful. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and I had everything I needed. Amanda, Sheila, and Kasi were also so incredible and helpful throughout this entire process. I was so out of my comfort zone with literally everything and they just went above and beyond and we had the perfect wedding.

I couldn’t have had a better experience than I did with The Cotton Gin for my wedding 12/15/23. The staff exceeded my expectations and really went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I know that some of my requests took some accommodating and coordination, and I greatly appreciate them for ensuring that it was handled as it was extremely important to me. As for the experience itself, it was so easy. For brides who feel overwhelmed with the coordinating and planning, The Cotton Gin does everything for you, so you don’t stress about a thing. The photography, videography, food, alcohol, DJ, coordinator, decorations, flowers, cake, and limo services are all provided. So, if anything behind the scenes went wrong, myself or my husband never knew, and it was quietly taken care of. The decorations and flower arrangements at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and turned out much prettier than I could have even imagined. It literally looked like my Pinterest mood board that I showed them at my first consultation. The photographers and videographer were so sweet and so easy to work with (thank you Katie and Jackie). I couldn’t be happier with the photos, as they are outstanding! I have never been more in love with photos before and I cannot wait to receive the wedding video (hopefully soon). The coordinator, Becca, was on top of it all and had everything planned and under control. We brought a lot of handmade decorations and signs and Becca ensured that everything was set out for display and that we received everything back at the end of the night. She also escorted my mother around in the golf cart as she has MS and issues with mobility, which I greatly appreciate. We and our guests loved the food and signature drinks (we highly recommend the sirloin and apple of my eye cocktail). We also loved our DJ and everyone at the wedding is still talking about how much fun the whole experience was. People who I would never have expected to dance were on the dance floor having an amazing time! The most you need to do is show up for your food tasting appointments, 2 consultations, and create a seating chart. We just wanted to be able to actually be present and enjoy our wedding, so we are so incredibly happy with how perfect our wedding was. We love looking back on all the photos and reliving these memories. Thank you, Cotton Gin for this incredible experience!

The Cotton Gin was a 10/10!! The staff worked so well and everything fell together perfectly. The guests were complementing the venue all night! Beautiful picture spots!!

We got married at the Cotton Gin in June and could not have asked for a better experience! From our first time visiting the venue during a Vino at the Venue tour, to the planning meetings, and my many texts and calls to Kasi with questions leading up to the wedding. Kasi, Amanda and Sheila answered all of our questions and met and exceeded all of our needs! We also decided to have our rehearsal dinner in the White Room at the venue. Our guests loved the fajita bar, and raved about how delicious everything was and the convenience to walk from the rehearsal to dinner on site. The day of our wedding was an absolute dream come true, everything was perfect and stress-free. My bridal party loved the bridal suite accommodations—the convenience to get hair and makeup done with ample space, hair and makeup chairs and space to relax before the wedding. The Cotton Gin took care of everything the day of, so my bridal party and guests could relax and enjoy our wedding. I still receive compliments on the ambiance, decor, food and DJ! If you are looking for an all-inclusive venue that provides a truly custom experience, the Cotton Gin will meet and exceed all of your needs!

I don’t even know where to start or where to begin!! The moment my husband and I were invited to conduct a tour of the Cotton Gin, we were welcomed so graciously during our first tour of the Cotton Gin! I knew we were going to have our wedding reception here!! Joni was very polite, friendly, and very informative. She was able to answer all the questions that we had, as well as lock us into a date with a deposit of $500 which would count towards your wedding package. Fast forward, we had to postpone our wedding reception twice to due unforeseen circumstances; however Amanda did not hold that against us . She accommodated my husband and I, and still provided us with extraordinary professional, supreme, top notch services!! Up until the actual event we had about four meetings; whether it was in person, via zoom, or by telephone. Amanda made sure Kasi or Kayla stayed in contact with me and updated us accordingly to any changes. Amanda made sure, I stayed on top of my to do list as well such as wedding attire and alterations, invitations, seating charts, head count, dietary restrictions, making sure if I submitted my DJ playlist and form that goes along with that and other miscellaneous items that I wanted to have for my special day!! I never felt out of the loop of anything, I always got a response immediately during business hours; and after business hours I received a response at the top of the morning with an answer to my question or a solution!! I can’t imagine someone going somewhere else to have their wedding, wedding reception, bridal party.. etc!! If you want a stress free event please book with the Cotton Gin Mill!! They do pretty much EVERYTHING for you!! You don’t need to find a DJ, you don’t have to worry about finding someone to cater your food, you don’t have to worry about a bakery, you don’t have to worry about a videographer, you don’t have to worry about a photographer, you don’t have to worry about a coordinator!! It’s all included with your wedding package!!! Side note, when my wedding guest ate the cake from my husband and I.. lol Amanda had the bakery make us two small 6 inch cakes; red velvet and salty caramel!! I’m just saying they go above and beyond to make sure they give you the best experience of a lifetime. We were treated like ROYALTY on our special day!! If you’re going to spend all your hard earn money make sure it’s worth it, make sure you are going to get the service that you and your partner deserves!!! I got married at The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek on 3/4/23. I have so much to say about CG! This place has it all! I literally did not lift a finger on my wedding day. When they say "All Inclusive"...they mean it! From the start, the planning process was a breeze with CG. Their coordinators are amazing. Amanda, Joni, Kaci, Kayla, and Shelia were wonderful. They really make sure you're taken care of. I felt so confident during the planning process. My food, cake, photographer, alcohol, DJ, limo, flowers, decor, photobooth, wedding coordinators, etc. were included in the package I chose. They do everything here! My guests are still talking about how beautiful our wedding was, how great the food was, and how much fun they had on the dance floor! Trust me when I say, these people are professionals. You are in great hands at the Cotton Gin! I truly don't think you could find a better wedding venue!! I wish I could do it all over again!

We opted for The Cotton Gin because of their reputation and they are able to provide most everything in-house. The only thing I had to worry about were my dress, his suit, and hair/makeup. They were very accommodating from the first tour all the way through the day of. All staff I spoke to throughout the process were professional and quick to answer questions. The wedding went off without a hitch! The food, dj, decor, and everything were perfect!

I chose The Cotton Gin because it was convenient to my family and unexpectedly gorgeous. I originally picked the basic package, but after trying to coordinate external vendors, I decided to upgrade to the all inclusive package. I have been to four weddings this year, and every single one has made me more grateful than the last that I made this decision. You may get sticker shock from writing one big check, but I can promise you will save money. I can promise you that everything will go so much smoother if you choose the Cotton Gin. The only thing that went wrong the entire weekend was drama with a bridesmaid. The day went by smoothly. Our rehearsal dinner at the Cotton Gin was as much fun as the wedding. I could not be more grateful for their staff. The venue is beautiful, and trust me, you should at least tour here, even if you don't think it's your vibe, because they treat brides the way they deserve to be treated, from the first tour to after the wedding is over.

I am very glad to have chosen the Cotton Gin at Mill Creek for my wedding venue. The outdoor ceremony space and indoor reception area were remarkable and made for a beautiful backdrop. The food and cake were delicious. What makes this venue such a great choice is all of those things, but most importantly the team behind it. Everyone there is your personal cheerleader on (and leading up to) one of the most important days of your life. They put their hearts into making your wedding dreams come true. Amanda was so kind, generous, and exciting. Sheila was very fun and helpful when it came to designing the table scapes and floral arrangements. Kayla was there to make things go according to plan and put my mind at ease. There are even more helpful hands working behind the scenes. The bridal suite is perfect for getting ready with your girls the morning of. There are so many extras this beautiful venue has to offer and I could not recommend the Cotton Gin enough. Bravo!!

Everyone at The Cotton Gin was absolutely amazing and accommodating. I cannot say good enough things about this venue and staff! If you want as easy as it gets for planning a wedding- this is your venue! They helped me every step of the way- literally every step. My flowers and decor were absolutely stunning and my guests cannot stop raving about it. I would definitely recommend this venue!

This venue and their team are 10/10. You can tell they have been in business a long time. Each and everyone of them have a role and they know exactly what to do and when to do it. Their communication is perfect, anytime we needed something they were on it. They do all of this while also having a very personable feel, their staff is extremely friendly and professional.

Honestly, this venue is perfect if you are a one stop shop bride like I was. The staff takes care of everything! The pricing was truly all inclusive, it included the venue, all of the decor, wedding cake, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception sites, food, bar/alcohol, DJ. They even have recommendations for photo/video and officiant. You literally just need to come with your clothes! Kasi was super helpful and always so very responsive when I ask any and all questions throughout my planning process. I cannot rave enough of about the staff at the Cotton Gin!

The cotton gin is an absolutely stunning venue with multiple package options for the one stop bride like myself. With my now husband on deployment I wanted to choose a venue where food, flowers, and the DJ could be booked through. The cotton gin also provided the recommendation for my amazing photographer Ashley!! The team did an amazing job making sure the day ran smoothly and overall it was gorgeous!! I would recommend this venue over and over again! 🥰

Words cannot describe how perfect our wedding was. Amanda, Kasi, Sheila, and Kayla did a phenomenal job at planning this day for us and they took care of everything! Our daughter's wedding was just 3 days ago and we felt so compelled to express our utmost gratitude and total pleasure with our event! When we began our search for venues, we toured the Cotton Gin and were immediately sold on the “Truly All Inclusive” package. Our daughter was an out-of-state college student at the time so we needed a venue that would really help with the planning. The Cotton Gin did EVERYTHING and did it all TOP NOTCH, from the venue to the DJ, videographer, & photographer. The flowers, food, cake and all of the decor were delicious and beautiful. The staff was so attentive, professional, and friendly. The venue owner, Amanda, was so incredibly kind and a pleasure to work with as well. The venue itself is gorgeous... with so much attention to detail and constantly has upgraded decor to keep it so trendy and fresh. It offers both an indoor and outdoor setting to cater to any type of weather that might come up. It also has so many unique areas to experience during the event from ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. The outdoor areas were extremely popular on our night as the weather was beautiful! The bridal suite was absolutely dreamy!! This space was impeccably appointed and included 6 salon style chairs for hair and make-up, stocked fridge with mimosas and lunch, as well as a gorgeous bedroom for amazing photos. It literally had everything we could ever need or anticipate needing. The grooms suite is amazing as well and all of the groomsmen enjoyed spending time playing pool, hanging out and eating/drinking! On the day of the event, our coordinate Kayla was a life saver! She ran it all with poise and grace and never seemed stressed. We cannot rave enough about her and her professionalism, hard work and pleasant demeanor. The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek is worth every penny we paid, and honestly is an incredible value for all that it offers. Additionally, we also chose to have our rehearsal dinner on site in the White Room and it was also so incredibly well done, top to bottom! Lastly, the scenery for photographs is like none other out there. The rustic charm is simply stunning in photos and there are so many different scenic areas from the lush greenery and trees to the historic water wheels. We came into this day with extremely high standards and expectations. All were, not only, met but exceeded in every way! We can 100% recommend the Cotton Gin at Mill Creek without hesitation and with total and complete confidence.

OMG-- I cannot say enough good things about this venue. I mean, for starters it's beautiful. We thought so right off the bat, and then I had guest after guest telling me what a beautiful and unique venue it is. Not to mention the all-inclusive nature of the packages they offer. WOW--this place was designed for brides like me who are looking for the most effortless wedding planning process possible, and may also need a helping hand along they way. They handle everything, while also including you every step of the way. The food was delicious, the DJ was so much fun, the photographer (Blush & Berry, who I will use again and again and again so huge shout out to The Cotton Gin for that intro!) was unbelievably awesome, the videographer was kind and creative, yet practically invisible (like a great wedding videographer should be!), Kayla, our coordinator made my life 100x easier, flowers & decor were out of this world. All of it provided and coordinated by The Cotton Gin with our wedding package. From the day we put down our deposit and set the date with The Cotton Gin to following up after the big day, The Cotton Gin has been clear, communicative, supportive, timely, kind and FUN . I could go on and on, but hopefully you get the point. You will not regret booking this place for your wedding venue!! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that someone else I know gets married there so I can experience it as a guest!! ;)

The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek was the PERFECT venue for my wedding. From the moment I toured the venue, I knew it was where I wanted to get married. Everyone at the venue went above and beyond to bring my vision to life. They are all so gracious and treated myself, my husband, our families, bridal party and guests with respect, and the hospitality is unmatched. Kayla was the day of coordinator and she was so great to work with! Answering all my questions and helping to make sure everything was perfect! Sheila did an AMAZING job on the florals. I was in love with them. And Kasi was so helpful and prompt in all our correspondences. You can easily tell that everyone there loves being a part of a brides special day, which made me feel extra special. The decor of the venue is breathtaking! It truly feels like a magical wonderland. The DJ was the best and the food was amazing! I only have positive things to say about everyone at the Cotton Gin. I still have friends and guests telling me how beautiful our wedding was and how much fun they had! I wish I could relive my wedding day because from start to finish it was the best day! The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek is the most beautiful venue I have ever seen! I had my wedding here over a month ago and my family and friends are still raving about the decor, venue, food, and staff! In December of 2019 my now-wife and I had the most magical engagement. In January we toured the The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek and fell in love! We felt accepted, supported, and enchanted by alll of the amazing work they have put into making this venue so special. Two short months later, the entire world shut down. Throughout the pandemic stress was at a maximum as we have a son with a heart condition and were concerned with having so many guests. The team at Cotton Gin calmed our hearts and helped us postpone (twice!) so that we could have the safe wedding with family and friends that we had dreamed of. From start to finish they held our hands, and even went all out with a rainbow-themed wall of champagne! From insane dietary restrictions to last-minute bouquets, I could not have asked for a better group of people to help usher in a new era in our lives. My family is from the north, and her family is from the south. This was the first time that everyone was able to meet and they are still talking about it! Months later, I still get calls out of the blue from friends and family about how beautiful, true, and real the entire day was. Thank you Cotton Gin!!!!

WHAT A DREAM ! My wedding was absolutely perfect. Not only was the planning process a dream but the entire staff is so kind and helpful through the entire process. They are 100% on it. I'm so late on writing this review, but The Cotton at Mill Creek is the absolute best wedding venue there is! We had to postpone from our original date and Amanda and Logan made the transition easy. Every step of wedding planning, and my countless questions, Amanda and Logan were there to help. Our wedding day was beautiful, the venue is gorgeous, and you definitely cannot go wrong with any of their plans. (We did the all inclusive!) They did everything to make sure our day was as perfect as it should be. The service and staff are unbeatable, and CG's preferred vendors are the best of the best right along with the CG! We cannot recommend this venue enough. Thank you!

The Cotton Gin took care of every single detail of our wedding day. As the bride, I was not bothered with questions etc about the day instead I was able to be present and enjoy the day. Everything ran smoothly and the decor was marvelous. The food and cakes were delicious. Guests that normally do not care for strawberry cake were going back for seconds of strawberry wedding cake. The Cotton Gin staff made sure my grandmother who was wheelchair bound was able to participate in ceremony and got her back and settled for reception.
