I absolutely recommend this place for events, especially weddings, it is beautiful and does not require much decoration to look really nice, but you can add as much as you want to ...
make it look even nicer. The staff is amazing. The catering is excellent. They have a range of packages available. Personally, I wanted a single contract with as much included in it as possible and this place was perfect for that. Kelly was my coordinator and she was amazing. I really wish I could do it all again it was so wonderful. My wedding was perfect and it had a lot to do with venue we chose! 10/10!!
This place lost more money not willing to work with us, than if they waived that ridiculous extra fee due to COVID.
My husband and I got married on April 1, 2017 at The Courtyard at Gaslight Square. It was absolutely phenomenal!! We had our ceremony and reception there and Cat Martinez helped us...
the whole way through! We live 8 hours away from Corpus and our wedding turned out more beautiful than we had ever expected! The staff is absolutely wonderful to work with! Its as the most stress free, best night of our lives!! Thank you!!
My October (autumn forest wonderland themed) wedding at the courtyard was absolutely perfect! I was kinda a handful of a bride…I had a vision of how I wanted my wedding to be and ...
it was up to all involved to figure out how in the world to make it happen. One thing I LOVED about the courtyard was the big oak tree and I decided I wanted my ceremony to be in front of it which they'd never done before. They were completely enthusiastic about the idea and trying something different and after several scenarios we finally nailed how to make it happen and it was unbelievably gorgeous!
I always had great communication from Krystle and Cat leading up to the wedding and they were quick to get back to me and all 500 gazillion questions and "what if we did…" requests. They also worked beautifully with my wedding planner Honey & Bee so it was all a great match!
The food by diamond point was AMAZING!!! My guests could not stop going on and on about it. I took the holiday menu they had and they customized it for me to spruce it up a little so it would fit in perfectly with my harvest theme.
The courtyard even had caramel dipped apples made as favors and created beautiful tags to put on each one (they were super tasty too!)
The venue is just beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the food is outstanding (which its safe to say not many people enjoy wedding food so much but a good amount of my guests went back for seconds).
I had out of the box ideas flying left and right and they did a miraculous job of working with me to turn my wild vision into a beautiful reality. I never imagined my wedding day would be so magically perfect but these people made it happen :)
Overall I enjoyed the Gaslight Square. There were just a few minor complaints. They brought the beverages on ice to the bridal suite at 12 when I told them several times to wait un...
til 3. They discontinued the tea and coffee service halfway through the reception, which upset my mother. They also refused to serve the groom's cake until a certain amount of the bride's cake was served, which upset some of my guests. Small things, but if you are picky, they might bother you.
When we first signed up with Gaslight we did have a change in coordinators, but when Krystal took over I started to feel a lot better. While we are from the area, most of our gues...
ts were from out of town and thought the venue was fantastic. Most of the compliments were about the food (we had the Polynesian menu and the yellowfin tuna nachos were a huge hit)! The decor is beautiful with the lights in the trees and the chandalier, etc. The brides room is well worth the few extra hundred, we got to go in there at 12:30 and get ready all day. All in all it was a fantastic wedding, just a little warm, but what do we expect in Corpus Christi, Texas?
If you want to have a stress free, gorgeous wedding, look no further. The food is amazing, the staff are amazing, and the site is gorgeous. Natalie was my wedding coordinator and s...
he was perfect. Considering most of our decorations were DIY, they set up everything. i could never say enough good things. perfect is an understatement.
Though somewhat pricy, this venue definitely provides great service, food, and location. It was amazing to be able to do everything at one venue and have them take care of set-up,...
clean-up, catering, wedding day coordinating, etc. It made my day much less stressful.
For our wedding, we basically just wanted to show up dressed. We didn't want to fuss with details and rentals. The staff at the Courtyard at Gaslight Square make everything easy. T...
he venue is so beautiful we didn't need to rent decorations or cover the place in flowers. The staff takes care of contacting vendors who aren't on time. They take care of you. To top it off the food they serve is amazing! We are still getting comments on how fantastic the dinner was (ribeye steak). This is a perfect place for a low maintenance couple.
The staff at courtyard made my wedding so perfect. They take care of everything. The only thing you have to do is show up. I still get phone calls from people saying they have neve...
