The Covers made the night so fun! Their music taste, energy, and sound quality was amazing. They were easy to work with and accommodated a postponement due to the pandemic. Couldn't recommend more.
Band was AMAZING! All of our guests raved about how fantastic they were. Easy to book and a fair price. They were a little hard to get ahold of after the initial booking process was completed, but not a huge deal. They are fantastic. We have already recommended them to others!
When planning our wedding, the biggest thing my husband and I cared about was that we really wanted a fun party. We figured the best way to do this was to have a fun band, so we researched Minneapolis wedding bands and came across The Covers. We watched their videos online and also went to see a show of theirs at a local church festival. As soon as we saw their energy, we knew they were the band for us! We also loved that multiple band members take the lead vocals on different songs.
We absolutely made the best choice! The Covers were awesome at our wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion. They were so fun and the dance floor was packed all night! Multiple guests commented that they were the best, most fun wedding band they had ever seen, and this was apparent by the fact that the dance floor was full all night and there were still many guests at the end of the night!
They also learned a song for us for our first dance, which was really special to us and we really appreciated.
Overall, you can't go wrong with the covers - they were amazing and I highly, highly recommend them!

Polished, professional, engaging, exciting and fun! These are highly trained and rehearsed pros who've played and entertained together for years. Even the musicians among our guests were impressed.
Would book them any and every time we needed top flight entertainment from great and responsible people!
I hired The Covers for my rooftop wedding reception, and words can't describe how happy I was with my decision. Not only were they the hit of the reception, they also jumped through hoops to accommodate my venue. When I mentioned the space was not ideal for setting up a stage, they took time to meet at my venue and make it work. The music was great, and they knew how to get the party started. I would highly recommend them for a wedding reception or similar!
We were beyond THRILLED having The Covers play for a client event. The performance and talent was STELLAR, but most importantly I appreciated their flexibility as we navigated unexpected changes in the event timeline. From start to finish the whole band was wonderful to work with. Our guests had a BLAST and there was a song for all music lovers. Having The Covers truly made the event set apart from all fundraiser choices out there during Fall gala season. Covey Events will be hiring them again FOR SURE!

You cannot do better than the Covers playing your event. These people are the real deal and will make you proud. The Covers played for my wife’s 50th birthday party and they were amazing. The top question of the night was where did you find them and how do I book them, so book now before the summer schedule fills up. Great communication with the band in the weeks prior to the event. The playlist was awesome and they are all great musicians. I can’t recommend them highly enough. It will be the only band I ever hire if we do another big party.
Best band for your event - hands down! Top notch musicians, huge song list of fresh and classic hits, dependable, great to work with; but best of all, "The Covers" bring the fun and the funk and keep it going all night long!

We hired The Covers for our barn-style August wedding and they were THE HIT of the night. They played popular songs that got everyone out on the floor from all generations. The members were very friendly and willing to work around our schedule not to disrupt our day in anyway. All night we heard our guests tell us how much they enjoyed the band. They learned a song that we requested prior to the wedding, so we got to dance to the one song that was truly special to us. Truly, they made our wedding feel unique and exciting. I would highly recommend The Covers for your wedding. There is just something awesome about having a live band and this live band is great!
We hired The Covers for our Wedding as a first priority besides the Church! They performed BEYOND our expectations. Everyone that came to our wedding said it was the best band they have ever seen - the dance floor was filled from the first song all the way till the end of the evening with people of all ages. This is a professional group of musicians - and their experience shows in the Twin Cities. I've always been a Sara Renner fan - but the bad was incredible.
Hiring The Covers was one of top 3 best decisions we made for our wedding day. The Covers aren’t just good- they’re the best. I’ve heard wedding bands that play well but look and act like a mess. I’ve seen wedding bands that look buttoned up but sound like your kid brother’s garage band. The Covers are the real deal: Their 6-person group includes the best professional musicians in the Twin Cities, and they are poised, polished, and FUN! Their set list is tight, and every song they play sounds practically like the real thing. It is clear that they spend a lot of time and thought on instrumentation of their songs. At least 10 guests asked us how/where we found the band, and whether they could hire them too. Additionally, the Covers were great to work with. Sara was so helpful with all my questions, and she helped take care of a dicey sound/light equipment situation with our venue ahead of time so that our day would be the best ever.
Nothing will beat the moment my wife and I stepped onto the dance floor, and the Covers nailed our chosen first-dance song. I kept repeating to my wife that I was so glad we hired a videographer so we could go back and listen to The Covers play our first dance song on film. It was my favorite moment of the night.

The Covers band brought our reception to life as the sun was setting. They have a great list of songs, and they sing each one in the original artist's intended way which means everyone can sing and dance along perfectly! Everyone from our wedding - from the grandparents to the flower girl - knew their songs and felt the energy of the band, so they all spent some time on the dance floor! We received compliments from countless people at our reception asking about the band and saying how awesome they were! The band was so friendly, energetic, and incredibly talented, so we spent our entire reception dancing with our loved ones. The Covers made our wedding a night to remember not only for us but for our entire reception attendees. We would highly, highly recommend the Covers!
I am an event planer for a non-profit organization and we booked The Covers for one of our fundraisers. They were the highlight of the night! They are so talented and engaging and got all of our guests out on the dance floor. They even surprised one of our guests by singing "Happy Birthday" to them. Their music is so diverse; there was something for everyone! Johnny Cash, Prince, Bruno Mars, Bruce Springsteen... EVERYONE was dancing. Booking and communication was a breeze. Not only are they all so talented, but professional too! I will definitely be booking them for another event. I highly recommend them.
The Covers played our wedding in March of 2017. I said for years that my wedding reception would be the best party we could ever throw, and the Covers were a massive part in making that dream come true. They're incredible musicians who know how to have a good time and use their skills to draw people in and not show off.
