Opening in early 2027, The Creamery is a beautifully restored historic wedding venue in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, where industrial charm meets modern elegance. From exchanging vows in our picturesque garden to celebrating with family and friends inside our stunning stone venue, every space is thoughtfully designed to create an unforgettable experience.
Whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a wedding of up to 250 guests, our experienced team will be with you every step of the way. Wedding packages feature chef crafted cuisine, a five hour open bar, customizable menus, and thoughtful hospitality designed to make planning feel effortless.

Elizabeth Knox
Catering Director & General Manager of Private Events
Elizabeth Knox joins the Creamery after more than two decades planning spectacular events in Philadelphia at Four Seasons Hotel, The Logan, Curtis Atrium and Philadelphia Museum of Art. She is passionate about service, exquisite cuisine and custom cocktails!
With over 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Elizabeth understands the need for responsiveness, empathy, focus on details and quality. Having worked with political dignitaries, Fortune 100 executives, entertainers and national sports teams, she understands the nuances, confidentiality and protocol needed for successful events.
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from University of Delaware. She resides in Wilmington with her spouse, two children and one dog. Her personal, zealous commitment to the environment shapes her daily decision making. Elizabeth’s colleagues and clients would describe her as responsive, intense, enthusiastic and as having integrity.

Food, ice cream, and beverages were excellent. Ambiance was top tier. Service was with a smile.

What a fun place! Not at all what I expected. My kids gave us a gift card and we thought it was a restaurant. Now I see why they love it so much. There is a lot of outdoor seating, live music, and food. There is a daiquiri shack, and food truck...
s. We got a mango daiquiri which was refreshing and delicious, and I got a tuna poke bowl while RJ got a smash burger. You place your order and get a text when ready. The food was tasty, my tuna was cooked perfectly, and staff was super friendly. We would definitely come back and try some food trucks.
