About this vendor
It’s the way life led you to each other.
The peace of recognizing home in another person.
Ordinary moments of simply being together that fill your cup.
How your heart flutters when you see your person across the room.
And the fact that you want this love forever.
As the years go on this time of your life will become all the more valuable and precious.
So. Let’s stop time and capture it all. Have the sweetest moments and brightest experiences at your fingertips.
We do this to...
- Tell stories before they’re lost
Let’s face it, time fades our recollection of even the sweetest memories. And we never know how long we have to share them. We want your legacy of love to be told to the fullest and retold every time someone presses play on your film or opens your wedding album.
- Remember that love lasts longer than grief
Our wedding videographer was gifted to by Jess’s mother and just when we thought that video couldn’t be anymore precious to us Austin’s mom passed away. Losing the people we love hurts like hell so being able to play back their voice and see them full of light is priceless.
- Preserve the feelings of excitement & hope during this season of life
Want to know a secret? We rewatch our wedding film from 6 years ago once a month. It’s a touchstone of where our life together started. During the blissful and hard seasons of life you can revisit the love you’ve built your life together on.
No two stories are alike and this is ours...
Austin is from Iowa, Jessica is from England, and we fell in love over FaceTime and iMessage whilst living 4,711 miles apart! Jessica was living in Townsville, Australia and Austin was in Kona, Hawaii. And honestly, it feels unbelievable and inevitable that we’ve ended up here. Love is funny like that. If you’re here, then you get it.
I’m sure the four of us can agree that love is a series of choices, sweet mundane routines, hard yet worthwhile events, uncontrollable laughter, and sleepy embraces. It all is universally shared, intimately personal. And that love has shaped our lives and our business into what it is!

The Creative are the perfect wedding photo and video team! From our very first call with Austin and Jessica, we felt completely comfortable and confident in their work. As people w...
ho aren’t used to being in front of the camera, we wanted a team who could help us feel natural while keeping the day flowing with positive energy—and they struck that balance beautifully. They are kind, welcoming, and brought such a calming presence to both our engagement session and wedding day.
On the wedding day, they captured every moment we had hoped for. They somehow kept our family photos moving seamlessly without it feeling stressful, and at the same time blended into the background at times so candid moments could shine through. We asked for their advice throughout the process, and their professionalism and expertise put us completely at ease.
The final photos and videos exceeded our expectations. They truly captured the love, joy, and energy of the day in an authentic way that never felt staged. Austin’s highlight video (we chose the “T-Swift package”) brought our wedding back to life so vividly, and we know we’ll treasure these memories on every anniversary to come. We couldn’t recommend The Creative more. Austin and Jessica are a dream team and they work together so seamlessly throughout the your big day!

ad a few hiccups and Austin and Jessica pulled us aside to regroup and share compassion during the stress.
My husband was hesitant to hire a videographer in the first place due to extra expense and after some convincing to get on a FaceTime with Austin & Jessica his mind was at ease. They are incredibly talented and so easy going to work with. If you’ve seen their portfolio, it comes as no surprise that they are busy. But let me tell you, the video you receive is worth the wait and something I will cherish forever. After my husband saw the video, his biggest regret was not buying additional videos from them :)
We can't say enough positive things about The Creative! While searching for the perfect videographer, we were fortunate to stumble upon and chat with Jess and Austin. I remember th...
inking as soon as we hung up the facetime call, "Yup. This is what I want." They are incredibly intelligent in their field and they were so smooth to work with the entire time. They listened to our ideas and created the most beautiful and unique wedding video that perfectly describes my husband and I. Our wedding video is like NOTHING I have seen before!
If you are looking for someone who will capture the most beautiful moments of your day while also breaking it down on the dance floor with you, Jess and Austin are your people!
We can't thank them enough for all of the work they put into our video. These two have quickly become lifelong friends. We love them!!

d we hired them for our own wedding and we were not disappointed. They are so easy to work with and their photos…. BEAUTIFUL! The video they put together has brought everyone to tears but in the best way possible and I couldn’t be happier! amazing to work with on our wedding day! They both made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and truly went with the flow throughout the entire day. At times, it felt like they were our wedding guests, not our videographers we'd just met a few hours ago. They captured our day so beautifully and we will cherish these videos for the rest of our lives. In addition, they were great to work with leading up to the big day -- very responsive to all texts and emails and even hopped on the phone with us to discuss flow of the day and ensure everything we wanted would be captured. Highly recommend The Creative!

ir ideas and plans exemplifying their creativity. Our pictures were stunning and they made our special day even more iconic with their photography and videography. They could not have been better at their craft, perfecting even the smallest details to make their work an outstanding piece of art. Their work was so great that we recommended them to our closest friends to also wonderfully capture our friend’s day. Simply no couple better to hire to capture your most important days.
We were very disappointed in our experience. We booked with them before Covid and when we had to reschedule our date they tried to increase our price. None of our other vendors did...
this. We tried to work with them and then they scheduled a “replacement” to work with us the day of the wedding. So not only were we going to have to pay more, but we weren’t going to have the two of them film our day. We backed out and lost our deposit of $500. It wasn’t worth the extra money with the already insanely high prices.

ith our original photographer. After finding out they could no longer provide the services we originally booked them for, it was a stress hunt to find someone! By what I call fate, I came across The Creative on The Knot. Austin was so quick to respond and jump on a call with me! They rolled with all of our date changes and kept in touch with us throughout the year. From jumping on multiple video calls to texts to see how we're doing, they made us feel so at ease with everything! And then the wedding day, they were nothing short of amazing. Of course your timeline changes the day of with different set backs. They made us feel like everything was going just how it should! We had so much fun with them we didn't have time to feel uncomfortable or nervous taking photos or doing different things for the video! They were so fun and it felt like a couple of friends than a stuffy photo session. We cannot recommend Austin and Jessica enough. We got incredibly lucky finding them, and any couple would be blessed to have them on their wedding day!
I don’t know where to begin with these two!! They are more than just your videographers (the BEST ones at that) but they also become your long life friends! (not just a vendor for ...
the day) I mean these two really get to know you and your significant other so well, which in turn creates some of the most beautiful moments on camera. They know what they are capturing and how to tell your story when it comes to finally filming the big day. They truly are excited to be there as witnesses and fully retell that day through video. They are so responsive, open to all ideas, and crazy creative!! We were beyond blown away with everything they did for us, meeting us via FaceTime, meeting in person before hand, and even coming the day before to capture our venue! The video they created for us is one we will watch and re-watch for the rest of our lives, it was beyond what we could’ve imagined!! Thank you guys for everything and being our lives!

sed to because we were both doing special dances, it was crappy weather and he drove 3+ hours, our video is amazing. Very very accommodating to what you want and need for him to help capture your big day. -The Bride
I’ll be honest, I was hesitant when she mentioned she wanted to get a videographer for our wedding day.. but all the moments captured & the video work put together by Austin was worth every dollar & thought! His work is top notch. Don’t think about booking him, just do it! - Dan (groom)

band and me! We never felt pressured to look a certain way or do anything that felt awkward for us, and that allowed our wedding day to remain authentic!
We had hired a photographer before discovering Austin and The Creative, and he worked seamlessly with her! We were so thankful for that willingness on his part. It was such a special day and we would redo every moment!
We watched our wedding video (maybe me even more than my husband!) SO many times during our first year of marriage. It is an amazingly special video to watch together on our anniversary, and we will treasure it forever.
