On our wedding day, Kate made us feel completely relaxed and taken care of. Everything went so smoothly, and we were able to truly enjoy every moment without worrying about anything. The entire team was professional, organized, attentive, and wonderful to work with. The food was also amazing! So many of our guests complimented how delicious everything was. And the venue itself is simply breathtaking. The lake, the grounds, and the entire setting are absolutely beautiful, and we received so many compliments from our guests about the location. We could not have chosen a better place for our wedding. We highly recommend Old Daley on Crooked Lake, and if we could do it all over again, we would choose them again in a heartbeat!

It is clear that they genuinely want to make sure your wedding day is the best day of your life while keeping the entire process as stress-free as possible. As we began preparing for our wedding, we were introduced to our wedding coordinator, Kate. There truly are not enough words to describe how incredible she is at her job. From our very first meeting, she made us feel comfortable and confident in our decisions and made the planning process feel easy. She walked us through all of the choices we needed to make and as the months went on, was always readily available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and help make the entire experience as stress free as possible. One of the first things Kate helped us with was going through the package options, which were very easy to understand. As a bride with food allergies, I was initially nervous about finding a venue that could accommodate my dietary needs, but The Old Daley went above and beyond to make sure I had plenty of options and could enjoy my wedding day without worrying about food. The variety of choices they offer is truly incredible. I mean, when is the last time you went to a wedding with a sushi station during cocktail hour?! The food is also absolutely amazing. Everyone who was already familiar with The Old Daley raved about the food when we told them where we were getting married and our guests who had never been there before were just as impressed. Even months later, people are still talking about how incredible the food was! As our wedding day got closer Kate continued to work with us to make sure every detail was exactly how we envisioned it. Another huge benefit of choosing The Old Daley is that their team handles the setup of your decor for you. You can provide exact set up photos and they work to bring your vision to life, which was such a huge relief on the wedding day.  When our wedding day finally arrived, our wedding party was greeted by Nancy, who made sure the morning started smoothly and that we had everything we needed. We also had Kate with us throughout the day, along with her daughter, Hannah, who served as our day-of coordinator. Although this was one of Hannah’s first weddings, you never would have known it. She was absolutely amazing and spent the rest of the night making sure everything ran smoothly and according to plan. Having such a dedicated team behind us allowed us to truly enjoy every moment of our wedding instead of worrying about the little details. Ultimately, The Old Daley is not just a stunning wedding venue…. it is a team of people who genuinely care about their couples and want to make their wedding day everything they dreamed it would be. Throughout the entire planning process, communication was excellent. We always felt informed, supported, and confident that we were in good hands. And then there's Kate—our wedding coordinator. I honestly don't know how to put into words how grateful we are for her. I'm sure she's coordinated hundreds of weddings, but she made us feel like ours was the most important one. She was warm, personable, attentive, and truly cared about making our vision come to life. She offered thoughtful guidance and suggestions without ever making us feel like our ideas weren't good enough or trying to steer us in a different direction. She listened, respected what we wanted, and then went above and beyond to make it happen. One of our biggest priorities when choosing a venue was finding a team we could completely trust. We wanted to be present on our wedding day instead of worrying about last-minute details or putting out fires. That's exactly what we found at Old Daley. The entire staff ran like clockwork, and everything felt seamless. I never felt like I needed to hover or micromanage because I had complete confidence that Kate and the team would execute our vision beautifully. That peace of mind allowed me to actually enjoy getting ready, spend time with my bridal party, and fully soak in one of the best days of our lives. We especially appreciated how accommodating everyone was. We asked if we could have a private room reveal with just the two of us before guests arrived, and they made it happen without hesitation. Moments like that made us feel heard and cared for. Another thing that really stood out was the transparency throughout the planning process. At no point did we feel like we were being nickel-and-dimed or pressured into unnecessary upgrades. Pricing was explained clearly, and every decision felt honest and straightforward. It was refreshing to work with a venue that genuinely wanted what was best for us rather than trying to maximize every dollar. The food was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about it! We also loved that guests could take home to-go boxes with leftovers and desserts—such a thoughtful touch that everyone appreciated. We also loved attending the tasting event beforehand. It was a wonderful evening, and getting to meet the other couples getting married the same weekend made the experience feel even more personal and exciting. From our wedding attendants to the coordinators to every member of the staff, everyone treated us and our guests with genuine kindness. It never felt like we were just another wedding on the calendar. We truly felt cared for every step of the way. If you're looking for a venue with beautiful spaces, amazing food, outstanding communication, and—most importantly—a team that will genuinely care about you and your wedding day, we cannot recommend Old Daley highly enough. initial meeting with Jan made us feel confident that the venue staff and coordinators would have everything under control on our wedding day. And obviously, the entire space is STUNNING! Nick was assigned as our day of coordinator and we couldn't have even happier with his knowledge, attention to detail, professionalism and excellent customer service. I had a vision for our day and Nick helped me bring that vision to life. He answered any and ALL (there were a lot) of the questions we had and made sure that we were well-informed on decisions we made. I was a type a bride and all of my needs / wants were not only met but exceeded throughout the entire process. Nick has an impressive amount of experience and knowledge and has the perfect personality for his job. Planning a wedding comes with a lot of stress for the couple and having his support and guidance was so appreciated! There are a few things that set this venue a part from the rest. 1: The aesthetic: it's historical charm makes it unique and can be seen throughout the space. You really can create whatever vibe you'd like. We opted for a black tie occasion decorated in black and white with lots of white roses and hydrangeas. We also chose it because the indoor ceremony space is just as beautiful as the outdoor. We knew that having our wedding in upstate, NY, we needed a plan b for the ceremony because of weather. At most venues, the indoor is not as nice as the outdoor but that is not the case here. There are also so many amazing spaces to get photos: outside by the lake, in front of the building, next to the flowers/greenery, the Oak Room, and so many more! 2: The food: once we had our tasting, we knew the food was second to none. There were so many options to choose from. On our day, we had an abundance of hors d'oeuvres, a grazing table and a southern station for cocktail hour. Both us and our guests were beyond impressed with the selection and taste. The plated dinner was superb (we had guests tell us it was the best wedding food they've ever had!) and our cake/desserts were outstanding. One thing is for sure, if you have your wedding here, no one will leave hungry! 3: The customer service: it is unlike anywhere else we toured. You get a family owned feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Jan sat down with us and answered all questions we had before booking. She made us feel like she really cared and understood the investment of a wedding. She also knew that we had never planned a wedding before so she took the time to walk through each detail. The day of coordinator is part of the package which is something you do not get most places. As I mentioned, Nick was amazing and went above and beyond. We also want to shout out Hannah who was our attendant for the wedding day (also an amazing touch you don't get most places) she went above and beyond to make sure that both us and our wedding party had everything we needed / wanted throughout the day. We would absolutely recommend the Old Daley on Crooked Lake to anyone! Thank you to Jan, Nick, Hannah and the team for making the most important day of our lives everything we dreamed of and more!

The ceremony was held by the lake, with the serene water and lush green surroundings creating the perfect natural backdrop. The setup, complete with a stunning blue floral arch and a beautiful floral-lined aisle, felt like something out of a fairytale (see the photo for reference!). Our guests traveled from places like Buffalo, Indiana, and Los Angeles, and every single one of them was blown away by the beauty of the venue and the peaceful, romantic atmosphere. We want to give a very special shoutout to Nick, our wedding coordinator, who was simply fantastic. He was so helpful, calm, and detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly because of his efforts, and we felt completely supported the whole time. We’re also incredibly thankful to Janice, the manager, and the rest of the Old Daley team. Everyone was kind, professional, and so easy to work with. They truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect. And we have to talk about the food—super duper delicious! The beef steak especially was unforgettable—many of our guests said it was the best steak they’ve ever had. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and served with care. He was there every step of the way to touch base and was so down to early and easy to work with. We were able to do a rehearsal the night before and bring in all of our decor. We briefly went over it and the next day everything was executed perfectly. The staff at Old Daley is like a well oiled machine. They were incredibly accomodating to anything we needed and again, made us feel like we were at Home. The professionalism of all of the banquet staff and bartenders was incredible, especially for such a young staff. Again, Nick was incredible with everything day of the wedding. Everything went so smoothly, food was hot and incredible. We also had a personal attendant, Kasey, who was so helpful the day of the wedding with anything my husband and I needed, as well as our parents. We are 3 weeks out from our wedding and are still hearing about how great the staff was, how incredible the food was, and how the venue was absolutely beautiful drom all of our guests. If you want a reasonably priced wedding venue that is absolutely worth every penny, look no further.

This includes the atmosphere, gorgeous scenery of the lake and beautiful windows in the ballroom, perfection of the oak lounge and the quality of service from everyone. The ceremony was organized, beautiful and breathtaking. The reception's dinner, dessert, hors devours and drinks were beyond phenomenal. Leading up to our event was so easy. Nick and his team stayed in contact and perfected communication to the point where our wedding planning was easy and well structured. The staff was accommodating, professional, kind and easily approachable. They even were communicating effectively with our outside vendors (DJ, Photography, Florist, etc). There recommended list of vendors were excellent and definitely worth it. Our wedding was technically a very minimal amount of guests local to the area. And yet somehow, our accommodations for our guests recommended by the team made this so easy and beyond worth it. Our guests have said the following in addition to our review, "that was the best food I have ever had at a wedding;" "the staff were so nice and our kids didnt even want to leave;" "for the first time ever, my daughter hit the dance floor;" "I couldn't stop looking at the venue when we got here. This place is like a dream;" "the outdoor ceremony on the lake was so beautiful. This was by far the classiest wedding I have ever attended...even the bathrooms were nice." You get the idea. In closing, if you have any event and you want it to be stress free and yet somehow organized, beautiful and memorable, we highly recommend this venue. The Old Daley on Crooked Lake will always be a beautiful and worthwhile memory for myself and my wife.
