Reception spaces include two ballrooms (one accommodating up to 100 and another accommodating up to 250). The art gallery provides a unique space for receptions and private events.

When we signed on to have our wedding at the Cultural Arts Center, Nancy was the coordinator and she was excellent - organized, informative, efficient. Then she retired at the begi...
nning of 2024 and the new coordinator took over. After that, it was incredibly difficult to get any communication from her. Each successful contact required 3-4 phone calls/emails from our end.
She also kept getting confused by everything - at one point, she wasn't even sure what kind of event this was. My mother and mother-in-law both contacted her too since we weren't able to reach her, and they were assured that the coordinator would be contacting us for the details a month out, but she never did. She did not show up to our walkthrough with our day-of coordinator, and we couldn't get a hold of her and she had to be reached by the front desk of the Cultural Arts Center. When she did arrive, she said that she didn't actually expect us to show. She also couldn't even assure us there were enough chairs for the ceremony + reception.
Ultimately our day-of coordinator took over from there and said she had issues too, even needing to reach out to higher-ups at CAC. The staff that does set-up and take-down of the tables, chairs, and tent is excellent, and the venue is beautiful, but I got many gray hairs in the process.

d. As a result, we are making changes in the way we work with events after they are booked. We will have an event services person on staff whose sole job is to work with event coordinators to insure that all details are handled and followed up on in an expedient, timely manner. As our event business has expanded, we realize it is time to have a sales department as well as a services coordinator to best serve the needs of our patrons. ready and having a rehearsal.

We used two of the spaces that this venue had available, the large ballroom for our ceremony and the outdoor garden space for our reception (yes, we switched it up!). The event man...
ager, Nancy, was a huge help during the entire process and she was always quick to get back to me whenever I reached out with questions. All of their spaces were really affordable and worked great with the amount of guests we were having. I was able to have several meetings there beforehand to show my spaces to my other vendors. The do provide a list of caterers they allow at their location, which I ended up being thankful for because I never would have thought of using the caterer we used and they were amazing. I'd highly recommend the arts center because of the good service, the beautiful event spaces, and the location (5 minutes from hotels!). I'd also like to point out that they had space options for me and my girls to get ready in on the day of. She was even able to get us in a little early on the day of so I could get started decorating!

The staff was great to work with the food was good the price was right and the space was just what we needed.;We never got our champagne toast as we had requested.
