The Cupcake Bar

Who wants a cake when you can get a donut wall? We decided to go with The Cupcake Bar for our custom designed donut wall and they absolutely delivered. The donut wall was gorgeous, delicious, and a huge hit with our guests! We had a wonderful experience working with Kim and Alexa up to the event. That tasting blew us away, and we knew we were in good hands. Alexa designed the vinyl for our wall, and she was fantastic. We so appreciated the extra time and care she put into designing our custom vinyl backdrop. It was stunning and exactly what we wanted! Ashlee served our guests at the wedding, and she was excellent. She really helped bring the fun element we wanted our guests to feel! We're also grateful for the time she took to box up the extra donuts and packaging two of them especially for us, too. All of the donuts found good homes at the end of the reception! All in all, we're so happy to have found The Cupcake Bar and had them at our wedding.

The Cupcake Bar never disappoints and no idea is ever off limits! I shot them an e-mail about an activation that is not currently offered, and they were able to flawlessly execute! The Cupcake Bar was seriously an amazing decision to add to my wedding! After quoting from multiple bakeries, I really didn’t like the idea of choosing one or two flavors for all guests. I wanted something customizable and I recalled my employer hiring them for a doughnut wall that was a ton of fun. The cupcake bar was a huge hit with our guests. Since I was running around all night I didn’t get to go up to the actual table, but they packed up all the extras and I enjoyed them later. Not only were they prompt and matched the wedding decor, but they were delicious. I was so happy to have been able to give our guests more choices and the cost was about the same as having one large cake made. They have other options too if cupcakes isn’t what you want. Seriously, just book them, they are amazing.

Absolutely amazing! We used them as our one of our featured desserts for our wedding in June of 2022. I was so impressed with their Kimberly and her teams response time, warmth, and eagerness to collaborate. I asked for a custom Texas flag donut wall and they blew me away! But this past year with all tings covid (blah) Lori & Team saved the holidays for my team across the US!! They curated amazing gift boxes with yummy fun local Austin TX treats to send to my folks from coast to coast. The process was super easy...even after I messed up one of the address's, Lori and team personally connected with the individual, confirmed the appropriate address and shipped out a new package to them ASAP! Just the cutest concept. Such a fun, interactive way for guests to enjoy their own custom cupcakes. The staff is so friendly and I love their cupcake setup. The Cupcake Bar was a huge hit at my wedding! Working with them was such a pleasure from start to finish. They made the booking process easy and fun and worked to customize the set up based on my colors and theme. I loved doing some unique besides the traditional cake and all my guests did too! We utilized The Cupcake Bar for a “D’Mores” (Donut + S’mores) wall at our wedding and it was the biggest hit! Not only was the wall super fun décor-wise, but our guests loved the interactive experience of getting to create their own “D’More” by selecting their flavor of donut, roasting their own marshmallows and choosing their own toppings. This, coupled with the excellent customer service that their staff members Dakota and Fuen provided throughout the night, made for easily one of the most memorable takeaways from our wedding. And not to mention that the donuts were delicious! If you are getting married in the Austin/Dripping Springs area and are looking for something other than a traditional wedding cake to have at your wedding, I highly recommend this vendor!

I can't say enough good things about this company. Their operations are seamless, and they take all of the stress out of event planning. I have done two events with them (one cupcake bar and one donut bar) for my sorority, and I have also ordered custom cupcakes from them. Every time I work with them I'm amazed by the quality of service--not to mention everything is delicious! Their staff is so talented, and their passion for baking shows in each event they do. I will continue to hire them for my events and love getting to support these local business owners.

We had the best experience with the cupcake bar - they were extra helpful in understanding the process - and their online portal was the easiest thing to fill out! We did a nontraditional cake, and honestly - this was the best decision of the wedding planning I made. The ladies at the cupcake bar exceeded my expectations, and even made us a Bride and Groom cupcake (one for each) for us to eat after the festivities were complete. They matched our color scheme, and honestly just WOWed everyone. I'd higher them again, and again, for any event. They also had an awesome set-up that they brought!!!

Hiring The Cupcake Bar was one of the proudest moments of my wedding! I hired them to surprise my now-husband with a surprise birthday party during the wedding. They were spectacular! It was spectacular! Seriously, the highlight of the night. If you are looking for a special “extra” for a party, this is it! I talked to them and then went and did a tasting. Bc it was a surprise bday party for the groom of a wedding, we already had cake coming, so I chose to have them bring out a floating tray of donuts. I had initially tasted several flavors and icing flavors and we looked at pictures so that I could design the whole look. I was able to go with 2 donut flavors with a pink buttercream, gold pearl sprinkles and gold tall skinny candles. She carried them out on a white open tray that I chose that had been imprinted with our monogram (nice touch). The white tray looked like it was floating bc it was held up with 2 dozen gold and silver balloons. I was even able to choose the outfit the Cupcake girl wore! Silver and black sequins in this case. She was perfectly on time, looked flawless, worked seemlessly with my wedding planner and arrived early (9ish) and stayed until 11pm. Everyone loved the donuts! They could not stop raving about the cinnamon sugar ones. I really liked that all payments were handled electronically. And again, I really like the tasting and preparation/planning process. Super professional, these ladies and gents know their business! I wish I could post the video someone made of her walking out onto our beautiful dance floor surrounded by walls of draping, amber uplighting, huge white arrangements, her sequined dress carrying this floating tray with all these balloons and the gold sparkly candles as the 10-piece brass band played Happy Birthday, seemingly in slow motion, and presented them to my groom. Priceless.

I had The Cupcake Bar come out to my wedding in August 2018 at Pecan Springs Ranch. The service provided by Lori and Kimberly was beyond amazing. I probably asked them over 100 questions that were promptly answered by either Lori or Kimberly - or I was provided a turn around time if they were both out of office. Leading up to wedding day was simple because Lori and Kimberly made sure everything was good on their end and all of my questions were answered. Day of - I didn't even realize that they were setting up because of how quiet and quick they were. I ordered the mini cupcakes and they were a hit. There was a longgggggg line of guests waiting to get their hands on some delicious cupcakes. My mistake was not having two tables set up with more cupcake bartenders! The table set up was perfect and looked elegant. I would definitely use their services again AND recommend that you hire them! I cannot say enough good things about these two ladies and the service that they provide!

The Cupcake Bar met all my dessert needs for our wedding! I started my search early and Lori's team met with me very quickly to offer a great variety of options. All of the desserts we tried are amazing and the price is even better than ordering a wedding cake. The idea of having a bar serving dessert was a hit with our guests. We had two bars for 175 guests and it worked perfectly. In addition, the process to finalize details was very professional and easy to follow. Lori's teams is so friendly and they set up the bars to match your theme if you specify it - an amazing package!

I am an event planner and used The Cupcake Bar for two events this past April - guests absolutely loved the desserts! Had the Roaming Treats for a 300 person event - the bite sized desserts were both perfect and delicious! Great variety and loved that you could personalize the trays! Had the doughnut wall at an 80 person event and the guests raved about it! Everyone wanted a selfie with the wall and the doughnuts tasted and looked amazing! Each and every person I worked with at The Cupcake Bar was helpful, friendly and provided exceptional customer service. I highly recommend them and cannot wait to use them again!

HOLY CUPCAKE! This place is fantastic! The cupcake bar is super cool and was cheaper than buying a million tier wedding cake, which let's be honest here, who was going to finish all that cake anyway? Choosing the cupcake bar is going to make your life so easy! We were able to choose our own cupcake flavors, fillings, and toppings! Our guest loved them so much that I had to move the "cake time" up for all those sweet tooths not so patiently waiting. The best part is that the cupcake servers were really sweet and did not serve anyone until we had our cupcake first. They were really friendly, accommodating, and just down right awesome. All of the leftover cupcakes were packed up and luckily for us sent home with most of our guest! I'm not going to lie, I didn't even save our cupcake for the next year, we ate it right away because it was too delish not to! Also, we got some sweet swag! Check them out, you will NOT be dissapointed!

The cupcake bar is amazing! We are so happy we used them for our wedding! They showed up on time, decorated the table very well, was so great with our guest, and everything looked and tasted awesome! The Cupcake Bar is truly a dream vendor! I knew from the first 5 minutes of meeting the owner, Lori, that my wedding desserts were in the best possible hands. I'm a baker myself and extremely picky. Lori's cupcakes are incredibly tender and the buttercream is divine. I was talking about them for days after my tasting, and my guests are STILL taking about them nearly a year later. Lori and her staff are so easy to work with. They are professional and thorough and went above and beyond with communication and emails to make sure we were all on the same page. Their display at our wedding was top notch! They matched our decor perfectly. It's such a unique twist to have guests be able to interact with the Bartenders and create their own personal dessert. The personal touches they put on the mobile treat bars were my favorite part! Our guests raved over them! I seriously could not recommend a vendor enough. These are the people you want to work with if you want everything to run seamlessly and your guests to leave happy! If I could get married again tomorrow just to work with Lori and her staff again, I would!

We had cupcake bar at our wedding on 4-11-2015 instead of a grooms cake, it was a hit, especially with the kids! It was so fun to pick different flavors & toppings, the kids kept going back & handing out cupcakes to people, was very sweet & cute. Lori was very easy to work with & they did a fabulous job, I would highly recommend them to make your special day fun & unique!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Cupcake Bar. It was SUCH a hit at my wedding! Everyone kept coming up to me all night talking about how fun the idea was and how yummy the cupcakes were. The presentation was also just stunning. I walked into the room after it was flipped and it was the first thing that I saw. I was floored! Jordan (out cupcake bartender) was also so sweet and everyone loved her. She was efficient (I got a little worried that the line would get out of hand as people rushed the bar but she was on it!) but also very kind to all of the guests. I also have to say something extra special about the owner, Lori. From the moment I met her, she was so gracious and attentive to our needs and wishes for the event and also so flexible with us being so far away (we live in Massachusetts and got married in Texas). She was truly my favorite vendor/person to work with throughout the entire process and I believe it was fate that led me to Lori! She came up with an AMAZING concept and I will recommend the Cupcake Bar to anyone and everyone! It is worth every penny.

We used The Cupcake Bar at our wedding on 10.14.12. I decided that I didn’t want to do a traditional wedding cake and when I found The Cupcake Bar, I immediately fell in love with their concept! I love desserts but more importantly I love candy! Many weddings I have been to lately have either had a candy bar or cupcakes as the wedding dessert but I haven’t been to a wedding that has combined the 2 concepts. The Cupcake Bar is such a fun and interactive way to serve dessert at your wedding. I loved that we were able to pick multiple flavors, icings, fillings and toppings so there was something for everyone! We were able to have plain toppings, like peanuts and sprinkles, for those who don’t love candy as well as funky toppings like cotton candy, Pop Rocks and Milk Duds for those who want to get creative. Lori, the owner, and the cupcake bartenders were so great to work with! Lori was very quick to respond to all of my emails and very helpful explaining everything to me since we were not able to come in and do a tasting in person since we live out of state. Both bartenders were very friendly and engaging with our guests. They made the whole experience very fun and unique for all of us! Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we used the Cupcake Bar. Lori was a pleasure to work with, she was very responsive and accommodated me changing my mind a number of times about what Tier to go with. My guests LOVED the cupcakes. My groom and I were so busy we actually never went by to get one, but Nathan very kindly packaged 2 up for us at the end of the night!
