We did a 2 hour crash course dance lesson with Jessica for our first dance. Jessica was very personal and professional. Her instructions were clear, descriptive and concise. We left feeling much more comfortable and confident going into our first dance. Highly recommend for anyone looking to do a full choreographed first dance or just wanting to learn the basics.

We start with your song selection, your experience and comfort level, and personality. Because I never pre-package choreography, the sky is the limit! One of my most important attributes as an instructor is my ability to create a light and fun atmosphere and adjust quickly to your needs. My couples often thank me for my encouraging demeanor and fun approach to teaching. My ultimate goal is to have you both loving your dance and looking amazing doing it.

As the founder of The Dance Floor, her private dance venue, She prides herself on creating a fun and encouraging environment where her students have total privacy as they learn. She believes that couples who become comfortable dancing with each other will fall in love again and again throughout their marriage so she is honored to help them as they begin their journey. "Our dance lessons should feel fun and romantic, not stressful", Jessica often says. Your song selection, comfort level, and vision, are met with Jessica's customized choreography and unique teaching style for an unforgettable experience before the big day, and of course, a dance for your wedding that you and your guests will love! Parent/Child and Bridal Party Dances also come to life at the studio. Whether you have a specific vision or have no idea where to start, Jessica believes that by the end of your first lesson, your nerves will turn to pure excitement!

wedding day!!! If you're on the fence about taking lessons for your first dance, we'd highly recommend just going for it. The effort and intentionality that Jessica poured into creating a fun and thoughtful choreography for our music selection helped it feel so personalized and honestly, easy. She's a great teacher — so encouraging and patient. We left each lesson feeling hyped up and so excited to surprise our loved ones with our dance. She knew exactly what to do to give us something special. As a bride with wedding decision-fatigue at the time, Jessica took so much off our plate that we just got to be physically/mentally present and basically have a dancing date night every other week. The value you get for the money spent is so worth it, and your friends and family will be impressed and proud (but do it for yourselves!). Highly, highly recommend booking with The Dance Floor!

She choreographed a routine that was the perfect balance, challenging enough to feel impressive but still totally doable, and never cheesy or over the top. Her husband even cut our song down for us, which was such a huge perk and saved us having to worry about that.
She was so kind, so patient, and such an amazing teacher. Our sessions ended up being our favorite part of wedding prep and a really fun activity to do together in the lead up to the wedding. She also helped build my confidence, which made a huge difference.
We crushed the dance!! People cried!!

Jessica has such a gift for building confidence. Towards the end, when we were in the final stretch and my fiancé was getting nervous, she always found a way to reassure him and help him feel confident going into the dances. tions. Neither of us had formally danced before, but Jessica was extremely patient, clear and thorough in her instruction. Her communication skills were outstanding, and she helped build our confidence every week. She sent us personalized guided notes to help us in our at-home practice. She even worked with her husband to provide a fully custom version of the song that we wanted to use, and designed our dance around it. confidence boost we needed for our wedding day! We feel so much more comfortable and prepared because she taught us the basics, how to safely lift and dip, and was amazing at adjusting her ideas based on our needs.
Jessica was very professional, made us instantly feel comfortable, and obviously cared about our experience! Not to mention The Dance Floor space is beautiful, clean and welcoming. I will definitely be recommending dance lessons with Jessica to everyone possible, our experience was amazing!!

I can't say enough how wonderful it was working with Jessica! Not just my session with my son for our dance but watching her interactions with him and his fiancée for their choreog...
raphed dance. She is infinitely kind and encouraging, accommodating of physical limitations and understanding of the emotions involved. She even snuck in a short lesson with my husband for him to practice the same simple steps, taking into account our great height difference, so we won't embarrass ourselves on the dance floor! Highly recommend!

My daughter and I have been working with Jessica as our choreographer for the father daughter dance at her upcoming wedding. Jessica's husband edited our song (Butterfly Kisses, Bo...
b Carlisle) so that the timing fit into our reception schedule seamlessly. The choreography Jessica constructed for us is beautiful and she has always been adaptive in checking in and making sure we are loving the steps. It's very easy to learn the routine with her teaching style. Thank you Jessica for your part in our family's special day.

If you are even remotely thinking of including a choreographer on your list of vendors... you NEED to come here! I have been working with Jessica (owner) for 2-3 months now for our...
first dance as well as with my father for our parent dance. Her experience shines in her ability to adapt her teaching style to the individual. Her choreography is very easy to execute (for all skill levels!) and she has always been more than willing to go above and beyond to ensure it is exactly the dance we are envisioning. After our first lesson, she sent instructional videos from each partner perspective so that we could practice on our own. She even offers a venue rehearsal and we will definitely be doing that as well! I can confidently say that because of Jessica, I am way less stressed about my wedding in 3 weeks. Our first dance will be beautiful and memorable for our guests (and us!) & coming to The Dance Floor is one of the highlights of our busy schedule!

I can’t say enough about how much fun and attention to detail we are receiving since we have joined The dance floor to learn and put together a beautiful dance...
for our special wedding day. Jessica is absolutely incredible! I can’t say enough about the experience we are having. We learned so much as we approached her to help us with such a special day of our lives. She is teaching us a beautiful slow dance that tells a story and once that’s over we jump into the most fun we have ever had dance song that her husband Jeremy put together for us. He is also a DJ that collaborates with Jessica, in bringing it all together.
If you are getting Married and want to give your self the best present and make your wedding unforgettable call The dance floor!!
