Brett was great to work with. I had initially hired a different DJ who ended up not being able to do the job due to an injury. But my initial DJ set us up with Brett and he was won...
derful! He scheduled a phone call with me so we could go over the details of the reception. He made sure to ask about any songs for special events (cake cutting, anniversary dance, etc) and all the little detail things. I gave him a relatively short list of "must play" songs and said I trusted his judgement to keep the dance floor moving. He did wonderfully. The dance floor was jamming all night long. At one point, he came up and apologized that he didn't think there was going to be a lull in the dancing (I had asked to put the bouquet toss when there was a lull to help boost it back up). No lulls were fine us! We had a blast from start to finish!!! Thank you Brett!!!
Professional, affordable, and fun!
Hiring for a DJ was one of the most difficult vendors to hire for because you can't preview any of their previous work (unlike photographers, vi...
deographers, florists, etc.). My venue originally recommended Brett and I am SO HAPPY that I went with him.
He was extremely thorough throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding, consistently responsive to all my emails, and made sure he had every clear detail prior to the event. He also provides a personalized online portal for couples to include all of the wedding timeline details and make song requests in an easy and organized manner.
Brett is very experienced, but not dated in his style. He knows how to keep the party going and be fun without taking over the reception, as I have unfortunately seen at other wedding receptions. He incorporated new activities/games that you don't always see at other weddings, too, so he is extremely creative! On the day-of, he was there early and kept everything organized while being nothing short of extremely professional and affordable!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Brett did a wonderful job at our wedding! He was so great to work with and was timely with everything! Our guests loved the music & haven’t stopped talking about the wedding yet. T...
hank you, Brett!
A DJ really makes or breaks a reception, and let me tell you, our DJ was AMAZING. He captured what we wanted perfectly and knew how to engage with the guests. Song after song kept ...
everyone on the dance floor and overall it was an amazing experience. I would totally recommend The Dance Machine, and Tom specifically!
Brett was highly recommended to us by close friends, so my husband and I decided to hire him as the DJ for our wedding on 6/8/2018. We spoke to him on the phone twice before the bi...
g day, and he was very informative and easy to talk to. He went above and beyond to make our wedding night amazing. He was extremely professional and kept everyone on the dance floor. He even had fun dances planned for the night (he made sure to approve them with us beforehand). Our wedding night wouldn't have turned out so perfect if it was not for him. I can't say enough good things about Brett. If you want an amazing DJ, hire him!
Brett is a wonderful and fun DJ! One of the things I wanted most out of our wedding day was a fun and lively dance floor which is exactly what he provided. Our guests had the time ...
of their lives and we constantly have people tell us how much fun the reception was as well as how great the music was. Brett works with you and listens to your input, he is great at feeling out your crowd and playing music that everyone enjoys. He offers some fun options to include in your night which all of the guests loved, they made for fun photos! We would absolutely hire Brett again for any DJ needs as he is the best! Even out of other weddings I've been to, he is the best DJ I've experience. Thank you, Brett!! We'll remember our lively night forever!
Brett Anderson made our wedding reception unforgettable! He was easy to work with, thorough, and organized. I didn't have to worry about anything the entire day! From the time we d...
anced our first dance until the last song of the night, the dance floor was full. If you want a great party and peace of mind, this is the DJ for you.
Brett Anderson contacted us first to set up the arrangements. He was very professional and precise - and he picked the best DJ for us! We worked with Chris Gray and he was fantabul...
ous! So nice and funny and very easy to get along with. He accommodated all of our requests and if he didn't have the song in his library, he got it for us! We gave him a vague idea of what kind of music we liked and he ran with it - and there wasn't a song we weren't crazy about! Honestly, I'm not much of a dancer. I decided to get a DJ so my friends and family could enjoy him, and I figured I'd be sitting most of the songs out. WRONG! Chris has us all on the floor all night and he even joined us for a dance! My guests loved him and we got tons of compliments on the music and the atmosphere. Highly, highly recommend!
Brett did a wonderful job. He was able to keep everyone dancing and he had some fun dances we incorporated in our reception. We would definitely recommend DME!
The Dance Machine was amazing! My husband and I along with all of our friends and family had an amazing time on the dance floor because of The Dance Machine! Thank you so much for ...
making our night so special.
We worked with Chris Gray, per a suggestion from our day-of coordinator. We weren't sure in the beginning if we even wanted a DJ or wanted to DIY it, but we have no regrets! Chris ...
provided the sound for both the ceremony and the reception. With Dance Machine, you fill out a survey of must play, prefer to play and do not play songs, as well as other special songs you'd like. We liked that because it felt like we really had control over things that mattered to us, and it kept us organized. Chris also gave us a call the week of the wedding to work out last minute details. He was really accommodating, as we had a special first dance and father-daughter dance mix. He SERIOUSLY kept the party going all night. I'm not a big dancer, and I could not pull myself away from the floor. I was really worried about having a cheesy DJ, but Chris was extremely personable and professional. A great choice!
From the first communication with Mark, I knew we were going to love him. He was very professional and just wanted to make our special day perfect. He had great song suggestions wh...
en we weren’t sure what song to use for a specific event, but played every song we asked. We had a survey to fill out before and then a phone call with Mark the week of the event. During cocktail hour, he played a great mix of music that set the mood for the whole night. He did a great job with the bridal party announcements even with some difficult pronunciations! He got our whole reception dancing and took requests all night. He definitely knew how to get the party started and keep the party going. I would recommend the Dance Machine for any event and try to book Mark if he is available!
