The Dandelion Patch

Working with the whole Dandelion Patch team was a great experience! I grew up in the Northern VA area and always remember seeing the storefront, wondering if I would ever get to work with them! Once I finally got to wedding planning, I knew that invitations were going to be an area where I was going to have a lot of opinions, and Jill was so accommodating and creative when presenting us with ideas! She did a fantastic job of showing us a ton of options so we could make the best decision without any pressure. Jill was patient with us through draft reviews and helped to create a beautiful envelope liner that tied the whole suite together! I only wish I had worked with them for my save the dates! :)

We were referred to the Dandelion Patch for our invitation suite from another vendor. An artist had hand painted a watercolor of our venue to be printed onto the inside of our invitation envelope and the Dandelion Patch was the company who helped us through this process. We have nothing but great things to say about them. TDP helped create a vision and narrow down the thousands of design options for invites and paper, as a first time bride, the choices were overwhelming to me. All our stationary came out absolutely beautiful and we are just so pleased with the results. Highly recommend

I hired Jill in the spring of 2021 to design invitations for our summer wedding. I was so impressed with her skill, eye for details and willingness to make tweaks during the proofing process. She is an absolute pro. And I can't tell you how many compliments we got from the guests about how much they loved the invites! I returned to the Dandelion Patch to hire her for our day-of papers, including programs, welcome letters, place cards and a seating chart/welcome sign. Again, she knocked it out of the park. It was an absolute pleasure working with Jill and I would recommend her, without hesitation, to any brides in the area.

The wedding set Jill designed for me is gorgeous. The flowers feel real and are beautiful. I highly recommend this company for their excellent quality and personable customer experience.

I used Dandelion Patch for my son's rehearsal dinner invitations for an event in Florida. He was in Boston, bride was in Atlanta, and I was in Virginia. Jill was very patient in coordinating everyone's input and did a spectacular job of matching the wedding invitations which had been ordered elsewhere. She has a keen eye for colors and coordinating styles. I was so happy with what she did that I also ordered monogrammed thank you notes for my son and now daughter-in-law. Thank you!

We used Dandelion Patch for all of the paper for our wedding from save the dates to invitations to day-of materials, and I simply cannot say enough good things about them! From the first time we met, Jill was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable about timelines, etiquette, design, and more. I felt very clueless coming into the wedding planning process and Jill immediately put me at ease! I had only a few ideas about what I wanted and do not consider myself artistic at all, but Jill was able to run with my ideas and turn them into magic. I also used watercolors made by my mother-in-law for both our save the dates and reception centerpieces and Jill was so flexible about weaving this art into her own. Jill was able to incorporate things that were very meaningful to my husband and me (e.g. a DC map as the invitation envelope liner) and we got tons of compliments from guests. I was absolutely in love with everything Jill designed and can truly say that our save the dates, invitations, and various day-of paper products (welcome sign, table numbers, escort cards, programs, signage, etc.) were one of my favorite parts of our entire wedding process! Jill and Lindsay are both such a joy to work with - warm, professional, reliable, and amazing at what they do. They were extremely patient with my feedback and seemingly endless questions throughout months of planning and I am forever grateful. I always knew I was in good hands with them and I would highly recommend Dandelion Patch to anyone!

We had started following The Dandelion Patch on Instagram after meeting them at The Washingtonian Unveiled. We fell in love with their work and decided to go for a consultation. Our wedding invitations were out of this world! My husband and I are so thrilled with the work they did. We decided to do all of our wedding paper with The Dandelion Patch as well. We ordered our welcome sign, cocktail napkins, programs, welcome box inserts, menus, table numbers, and stickers. The result was breathtaking! Jill and Lindsay were wonderful to work with and made us feel so at home! We highly recommend The Dandelion Patch to future brides and grooms. They are creative and friendly and you will be glad you chose them for all your wedding paper needs.

We worked with Dandelion Patch for our invitations and our day of paper. They were very helpful as we tried to narrow down our design and made sure it was cohesive through all of our products. They were also super patient with all of our questions and comments through the design process. We had a late breaking print error with our menus, since it was so close to the wedding date, they offered to attach our wax seals and even met us at home to pick them up. We would definitely recommend working with them!

We got our save-the-dates and invitations from The Dandelion Patch and could not be more pleased with the results. They were exactly what we were looking for and loved the addition of a hand-made sketch of the venue for us to use on the save-the-date and throughout our other day-of-stationery to tie everything together. I worked with Jill on our invitations and I had no idea what I was looking for on our first visit! I brought my dad with me and Jill waked is through all of the options. She was so patient with all of our questions, and was amazing throughout the entire proofing process. When we got our first proof, I literally had goosebumps. Once we got our invitations and addressed envelopes, I realized that I had made a major mistake and somehow messed up half of the zip codes on the list I sent to Jill! Her and Lindsey, the owner, were so quick to respond and fix MY mistake without any question! I was already in a time crunch, and their responsiveness wowed me! We had our thank you cards made at the Dandelion Patch. But I so wish we had found them early enough to do our entire wedding. The new owner Lindsay is incredible...creative, super responsive and awesome to work with. And her designers are fantastic. We couldn’t recommend this team more highly!

I used TDP for bridal shower invitations...wanted something nice as it’s a very good friend. Live in DC area but had to do remotely which they made super-easy. Never even had to go there and the invitations were beautiful. Highly recommend even if you’re out of the area.

I worked with Allison for my wedding invitations, she listened to what my wants and needs were and made great recommendations that made the design and proofing process simple and stress free. During my appointment, the owner Lindsay came out and introduced herself and made me feel so welcomed. The invitations arrived on time and they look gorgeous!
