The best sell I can give you on Danish Pastry House is that we ordered wayyyy more than enough cake for our wedding guests (3 flavors and enough to feed about twice as many guests ...
as we had) and it was ALL gone at the end of the night. People were coming up to us saying they tried all three flavors because it was so delicious!
They did such a good job, the cake was amazing, and the flavors are so much more unique and interesting than the basic “vanilla” and “chocolate” that most bakeries offer for their wedding cake flavors. We went with black forest, Swedish princess, and passionfruit, but everything we tried from the bakery during the tasting was awesome.
They also worked with me in advance to use dried flowers I sourced to decorate the cake. It turned out even better than I could have hoped for! Everything was delivered on time and was just perfect.
I’d highly recommend Danish Pastry House to anyone looking for a unique, delicious, and affordable wedding cake option! I think they were by far one of the best bang-for-our-buck wedding vendors, and we’re so thankful to them!
My husband and I had gone to DPH on several occasions and love their cakes so it was an easy choice to select them to do our wedding cake! Jane was so easy to work with and made an...
incredible 3 layer passionfruit white mousse cake with buttercream frosting. She decorated it beautifully with a cake topper and flowers we dropped off a few days before our wedding. We also ended up getting a sacher torte sheet cake. Everyone raved about how delicious the cake was! They even dropped the cake off at our North Shore venue (additional fee). Highly recommend to all brides!
Absolutely incredible cake. We had some last minute changes in our dessert/catering and Danish Pastry House saved the day with a super simple white cake with Bavarian cream filling...
. We took the cake home and my family was eating it for breakfast the next day it was so good! I'm not a huge fan of cake in general and I had three slices.
We love DPH cakes! We knew we wanted to use them for our wedding the first time we had their cake. The cake tasting made us feel like we were just another couple to get through (li...
ke they did at a couple other places like Konditer Meister). They didn't try to make US fit THEIR mold. We felt like they really cared and treated us like individuals. We chose sheet cakes just for budgetary reasons. They let me make my own decorations and they worked with what I had envisioned and then made it better. It looked beautiful and it tasted amazing. They were great about coordinating leading up to the wedding too, so I didn't have to wonder or worry.
I love this place! It is with great self-discipline that I am not very fat from eating here.

se a local vendor at my wedding. We tried 4 or 5 different bakeries for our wedding cake but this place beat them all hands down.
The cakes here are absolutely amazing. Working with the staff was so effortless. This bakery focuses on flavor and it shows.
We picked their Red Velvet Cake as it is our favorite, and the great thing is we can get it again whenever we want!!

eries bake and freeze?) This bakery has been spotlighted on the Food Network and one of the local food critic shows. Go try out their everyday fare, you will be hooked! The groom loves chocolate, the bride - not so much- we both were happy. A chocolate cake, with chocolate mousse, some raspberry, covered in chocolate ganache...... A yellow cake with raspberry filling (they call it their "Othello" cke) covered in chocolate ganache. Some marzipan somewhere. Then to top it off fresh flowers and ribbon! Danish Pastry House also supplied cookies taht adorned the cake tab;e.. french macarrons, florentines, and almond macaroons. Our guests couldn't decide what to eat first. I know there was at least one future bride taking pictures and has sinced ordered her wedding cake from this bakery. You will not be sorry or have any regrets using the Danish Pastry House. Oh... don't worry about saving the top tier for old frozen cake a year from now...They give you a cake on your anniversary! C\
