The Dap Squad performed at our 10/21/23 wedding reception and our dance floor was packed from start to finish! Communication was professional and responsive, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

The Dap Squad made our wedding in July 2022 so special! They are professional, fun, and incredibly talented. They learned a Led Zeppelin song for us and totally rocked it!!

This band is an absolute blast. We saw them perform at a friends' wedding, and had so much fun that we took their card. Two years later, we booked them for our own reception. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how fun it was, and people of all ages kept the dance floor full all night long. They are charismatic, extremely talented musicians, with insane vocalists. Their manager, Jason, answered all of my questions and worked with the venue directly to make the event completely stress free for us.

The Dap Squad has performed at a couple of our big family events (a 50th birthday party and an 80th birthday party). They are a class act! They take the time to understand the experience you want and the musical tastes you have to customize a special event. Their musical abilities are top notch and they know how to get people of all ages dancing on the dance floor.:) From the set up to the tear down, this group of musical artists is a pleasure to have onsite for your special event.

The Dap Squad absolutely CRUSHED it at our wedding! We had people on the dance floor all night and received so many comments about how fun they were! We hired a 7 piece band that included saxophone and trumpet as we loved the idea of having a jazzy feel to our dance. The singers even started a large train with all of our guests while singing “love train” ! They played a great variety of music that was friendly for people of all music tastes. They also learned out first dance song and sang it live which was very special. My husband and I were so happy with how it turned out and wish the dance could have lasted longer. Highly recommend!

The Dap Squad played at our wedding last Friday and were absolutely amazing! They had amazing energy, and were all incredibly talented musicians. Jason Weismann was wonderful to work with and walked us through everything we needed and was also incredibly flexible when we asked to add a sound system for the ceremony and then changed our first dance day of (when I realized I couldn't do the one we'd practiced since I hadn't been practicing it in my dress). Our guests starting chanting "one more song" at the end of the final set, and they obliged with an amazing rendition of "Proud Mary." My husband and I were talking about hosting an event sometime in the future just to have them play again.

We could not have asked for a more fun, talented and amazing band at our wedding! Two weeks later and we are still getting nothing but positive comments from our guests about how impressive the Dap Squad is, and how much everyone’s feet hurt for days afterwards because they were dancing so hard all night! Could not recommend them enough.

There is nothing like a live band at a wedding, especially an 11-piece band! My son and daughter-in-law hired the Dap Squad for their wedding in Sept. and they were exceptional. They had the crowd on the dance floor all evening AND they were fun to just sit and listen to. Weeks after & my guests are still raving about the band! If it's in your budget, hire them - you won't be disappointed.

The Dap Squad "made" my daughter and new husband's wedding reception the ultimate fun time! From the first to the last song, we all danced - including the bride's 84 year old grandmother. The DAP Squad played at our wedding and I have to say it was one of the best bands that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Everyone could not stop raving about how great they were! In my experience the band can make the wedding, and after the fact I can definitely back that up. They brought a ton of energy and killer musical skills and absolutely melted everyone’s minds. My own grandma was out there on the dance floor, amongst every other guest at our wedding. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great wedding band. We did the 11 piece and they played a wide variety of songs, though we kept it to mostly rock and funk. I may be biased but this is the best wedding band that I have seen, and I’ve been to a lot of weddings. Hope this helps anyone out there looking for the right fit!

We had the Dap Squad play at our wedding on September 4 this year.... WOW! It was absolutely the best time dancing to their music. They played some great party songs as well as everything that we requested. Some of our guests had a chance to talk to some band members and were saying how genuinely kind and talented they were. I will say - I have never seen that many people packed onto the dance floor before. What a fantastic time. Thank YOU Dap Squad for making my wedding awesome!

The Dap Squad was fantastic! They kept the party rolling and the dance floor was packed the entire evening. These guys are impressive musicians and very professional. As parents of the groom, it was nice to hear so many positive comments about this awesome band. We give them the highest possible recommendation !

Jason was very professional and did a wonderful job coordinating the sound for our entire ceremony, social hour, reception and after party. He some of the best musicians in the entire country and had EVERYONE on the dance floor within the first song. I had a ton of fun with these guys and even got to sit in on the drums for a tune. Would highly recommend.

The Dap Squad played at our wedding in Sept 2021 at the Van Dusen and they MADE the party! We were getting messages for days to come about how attendees stayed longer at our reception than they ever had before because of how fun the band made it (for dancers or observers).

I love this band!! I’ve been attending a lot of weddings this summer/early fall and Dap Squad definitely stands out as the BEST. They are such a fun, outgoing, and energizing band that really knows how to get wedding guests on the dance floor! In fact, the dancefloor was full for the entire wedding. Even guests that do not dance were on the dance floor having a ball. They are truly wonderful entertainers and made it an amazing night to remember.

The Dap Squad played our wedding in a very small town on a family farm of ours. Due to COVID, I wasn't able to see them in person before and was a little nervous going in to it. But MAN, did they bring the house down! I had people coming up to me all night long and for days after telling me how awesome our band was. They had a funky and upbeat vibe going that kept people on the dance floor. They engaged with the crowd to keep everyone smiling. I would hire them over and over and over again!!

The Dap Squad really blew our minds! We are professional classical musicians ourselves and we had a lot of musician friends at our wedding so naturally there was a bit of pressure for good music for the night. The Dap Squad exceeded all our expectations. We found some recordings on their website but they don’t do justice to what it is when they play live. The instrumentalists sounded amazing and the lead singer was just incredible. They played all the songs we asked for and after that they played everything from old classics all the way to contemporary stuff. All our guests had a great time and we all danced for 4 hours. Guests would come up to us the whole night to tell us that these guys were great. It was very easy to communicate and plan and everything went according to the plan - extremely professional. Also incredibly nice people.

Dap Squad absolutely KILLED it at our wedding!! We had a 7 piece band and they brought the party, especially the two vocalists. One even came into the crowd a few times and engaged with the guests which was a blast. We had a large number of people stay until midnight to shut the place down due to how awesome the music was. Best money ever spent.

We had 12 members of The Dap Squad play for us for four hours and they all did an amazing job!!! The guests were blown away by how talented every member of the band was. When I run into people who were there that night they always talk about the band and how much they enjoyed them. We had a huge summer festival in our town the week before with three big name bands over three nights and people keep telling me that The Dap Squad blew all three of the bands away. I'm trying to think of another good reason to have them play for us again. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them, you will be glad you did it.

If you want your dance floor packed, and your reception to be the best time ever, HIRE THIS BAND! I hired the Dap Squad, sight unseen (because of Covid circumstances) for my Sister's wedding in June 2021. Jason was excellent to work with throughout the entire planning process. We went with a 10 piece band for the reception, because we love a good horn section, and they did not disappoint! The band themselves said they have never seen so many people on the dance floor for the very first song, and the dance floor remained completely packed for the next 5 hours straight! We received so many compliments on the band from our guests, we we're told that this was the Best Wedding reception that they have ever been to. If you're looking for high energy music that encompasses multiple genres catering to all of your guests, this is definitely the band for your wedding!

The Dap Squad played our wedding in June 2021 and absolutely blew the entire party away! I heard people from the crowd getting excited just seeing an the whole band and horn section setting up during cocktail hour, as soon as dinner was over it was 5 hours of non-stop dancing. The band was easy to work with narrowing down preferred songs and their catalogue from oldies to contemporary was excellent. They even let us choose a few songs off the list that they learned for our big day. We had relatives leave to take grandparents home and came back later specifically to watch the band. Friends from New England told us they would consider having their wedding in Minnesota just to have The Dap Squad play. The Dap Squad made our day even more special and, to quote several guests, were "the best wedding band we've ever seen!"

Dap Squad absolutely made our wedding! We couldn't be more happy with the performance. They are amazing musicians that went above and beyond to make our wedding special. Given there was limited dancing at our wedding due to COVID and social distance restrictions, they brought the heat! All guests asked where we found this band because they were FABULOUS!

Phenomenal group! They arranged and sang our first dance and the rest of the night they led the evening with so much energy and were so creative with requests! Besides actually getting married to my husband, the Dap Squad was the highlight of my wedding! They got the party started and kept it going all night long. Each member of the band is an impeccable talent, and Jason (band manager) is extremely easy to work with! Our guests had an amazing time and so did we. Even people who don't like to dance were on their feet, and when people weren't dancing they were still enjoying the performance. The band broke any expectation we had. They were so good that the wedding party pooled money to beg them to keep playing. The leader was responsible, easy to work with and fun and the band (and I mean this seriously) performed some of our favorite songs with more heart and probably better than the album. We laughed and said I wish we could do this night all over so I could just Jam with the band. Who knows anniversary party right? GET THE DAP SQUAD.. It'll be the best decision you've ever made!!

The Dap Squad was amazing!! We got married a week ago and the highlight that everyone is talking about is the band. Their sound cannot be beat. A tight group of well-trained artists that flow together like butter. Musicians in the crowd will appreciate the technicality and timing while the lay person will be blown away by the depth and range of their work. Could not provide a higher recommendation. 10 stars!

Wow, just Wow!! We had the Dap Squad for our holiday party and I thought I had the best this town offered until I heard these guys!! They had the impeccable sound and tightness you'd expect from an East Coast 'New York' or LA band. I just hope they are available for our party again next year because I don't think we want to go with another group ever again. I'm not kidding.. we are still talking about how AMAZING they are.

The Dap Squad band killed it!! We checked out a few competitors and the line up was never the same?!? The Dap Squad was solid! They worked with us to craft the night just as we asked, took requests and morphed songs into others like a mash up on the spot. I’ve never seen a band play that tight. They are actually local and rehearse and you could hear it! So impressed!!! Thanks guys!!

The Best The Best The Best The Best!!! My best friend hired another 'Local Band' just to watch them introducing themselves to each other on stage and put on a lack luster paint by numbers night of music. Her wedding was disappointing.. We didn't go with that band, but are so glad we didn't! The DAP SQUAD CRUSHED IT!! They were the same players when we went to see them at another wedding, the same players when we saw them at a festival and they delivered! It wasn't just that though. They were available the entire time, not by an automated website, not through a pushy manager, but directly. I called the leader and Jason hand crafted every piece of our wedding as though it was his own. Man I LOVE THESE GUYS! Each guy is a master and they perform on a National level. Read the other reviews! It's the truth, these guys are the best and THEY ARE ACTUALLY FROM MINNESOTA!! Don't get duped by a machine pretending to be a band. The Dap Squad ARE THE BEST! We did all the research.. do your own.. but trust me, they are the only real band in town.

We booked The Dap Squad through Minnesota Music for our wedding on October 6th and they could not have been any better! We got non-stop compliments on how great the band was and so many people asked how we found them. My advice to you is BOOK THEM! They were SO much better than any DJ could ever be. They also learned three new songs just for our wedding and were so easy to work with! We couldn't be happier with them!

The Dap Squad made our wedding! I’m a musician and all I wanted was a band that wasn’t your typical cheesy cover band. I found the Dap Squad and they were all crazy good professional musicians. Each singer we had was better than any of the lead singers in other bands we checked out. Jason was also great to work with. Couldn’t be happier about having them play our wedding reception. Couldn’t tell you how many times our guests said this was the best band they have ever heard.

Having them at our wedding definitely took the party to the next level. As one friend said to me, months later and totally unprompted, "Best. Wedding. Ever." I think that says it all!

Incredible time!!! One of the best bands I've seen at a wedding.

We had SO much fun at my son's wedding! (I am pretty sure I danced every single song!) They kept the dance floor packed! Their energy was amazing! If I could give them a higher rating, I would. We are from Colorado, and everyone wanted to know when they can come here to perform! Jason is awesome to work with and coordinated everything very easily. Their music was so great that we took a lot of pictures of them with us at the end, because we all thought that we had such a fun party with them! Their variety was songs was perfect.

This Band Rocks! The Dap Squad was hands-down the highlight of our wedding. Jason at Minnesota’s Music Services was easy and fun to work with in the (very short!) lead up to our wedding and day-of, well, they killed it. The dance floor was packed all night long - they read the crowd perfectly and played a great set list, including learning a couple extra songs we wanted to dance to. The musicians were crazy talented - the lead guitarist’s Purple Rain solo brought the house down, it was incredible! So grateful they fit us in their busy schedule and rolled with the insanely hot day of our outdoor reception. Hire them! Worth every penny.

I can't say enough good things about this band! We went and listened to several bands, and the Dap Squad was by far the best. Jason was so attentive to every detail along the way. The band showed up plenty early to get set up before the crowd gathered. Our guests were dancing the whole night! Not only were these guys a lot of fun, but they were amazing musicians!

They were professional, unbelievably talented, and a complete riot. I'm really into music, so it was essential that we have a live band at the wedding. However I never dreamed that I could find a band that would blow everyone's mind within my budget. The dance floor was packed all night, and many guests (including us!!) stayed until the very last song! I've never had that much fun dancing at a wedding, and I'm so lucky I get to say it was OUR wedding! I planned my wedding from out of state and Jason was a breeze to work with. He answered all my questions up front and helped me feel confident with the hire right from the start. He was quick to respond as questions came up closer to the big day, and even though I never got a chance to meet him, honestly he is one of the nicest guys I've ever worked with via email and phone! Multiple guests came up to me throughout the night to let me know of this huge plan everyone was putting together to have a big party in 2019 for no reason, just so they can hire The Dap Squad to play again - clearly we made the right choice.
