Uriel was great! He was very helpful with his communication before, during, and after our wedding! We had a lot of guests come up to us complimenting our DJ! And he had a lot of them dancing the night away!

Alex did an amazing job at our wedding. He’s friendly, got our crowd involved, and even let our young nephews hangout with him at his booth. Highly recommend this company - 10/10!

DJ Uriel with Dapper DJs did a great job with our wedding! He was professional, clearly understood the vibe we were going for with our event and playlists and played a great set. We did get feedback that the ceremony audio was a little hard for some people to hear, but it was a tough room with a high ceiling so that probably played into it. The reception audio was good and he even managed to deal with some toasters with really poor microphone holding. We went with the Bee’s Knees or “least experienced” package and given that, we were definitely impressed by the quality of service and the value of the package. The Dapper DJs portal was a little clunky and didn't have enough options for the timeline section, but luckily we already had a detailed timeline that we shared with the DJ so this wasn't a big issue, just an opportunity for improvement.

Working with Dapper DJs was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Uriel was amazing and went above and beyond to really make our night special!! We cannot recommend him enough! We really appreciated his approach in preparing for the wedding - which included keeping track of multiple spreadsheets filled with special music queues, wedding reception moments, and all of our top songs. He was so helpful and easy to talk to, and he made sure to ask us about the small details that really made the day special. Our guests loved him and we still get compliments on the music and the atmosphere he created. Our wedding included a fusion of Indian and Western elements and Uriel handled switching between different moments with ease!! It was such a special day for us and our guests.

Alex was an AMAZING DJ!! Working with him was a breeze from start to finish. Most importantly, on the day of the wedding he really delivered and brought the party! The music selection was everything we wanted and he transitioned from song to song seamlessly in a way that kept our dance floor packed all night. We got so many compliments from our guests and would highly recommend the Dapper DJs!!

Chris absolutely nailed our wedding day as our DJ! He did a great job of mixing in all of our country requests as well as felling out the vibe of the reception and playing the songs that got everyone out on the dance floor. There were constant compliments not just from us but also our guests about his music choices and how he kept the party going all night long.

Brent was very easy to work with for our November wedding at Springfield Manor. He helped us choose the artists and type of music we wanted for the dinner portion of the reception and then for the dancing later in the night. He suggested the anniversary dance, which was a big hit at our reception! We told him we wanted calm and classy for dinner and then to turn it into a 90’s dance party. He crushed it! Our friends danced their butts off and had a blast. We received so many compliments about Brent and how great the music was. They provided the mic for our officiant and for the string quartet for the ceremony, plus the uplights for the reception. Dapper DJs were amazing! We hired them because they did my friend’s wedding and came highly recommended. You will be happy you hired them for your wedding.

Dapper DJs is so easy to work with, we loved that there were options for different price points and different DJs to pick from within those price points. They recommend you chat with several DJs to find the right fit for you and your event. They are very transparent during the entire process, and it was so great to work with the admin (Kendra) and our DJ (Najee) to make our event perfect. Najee was spectacular and our guests cannot stop talking about how personable and energetic he was during the event. We expected nothing less from the meetings we had with him. He is friendly, genuine, hilarious, and incredibly talented. From keeping the ceremony perfectly paced to keeping up with the energy in the reception, Najee is truly amazing at his job and we would recommend him and Dapper DJs for any event.

Dapper DJs and DJ Marcos was amazing! From the first conversation to the planning calls, they were so easy to work with and made everything so streamlined. DJ Marcos curated the perfect music vibe the entire day and for multiple areas of our wedding. He did such a fantastic job of not only incorporating our requests but also adding in songs to round out the reception and create a party experience. Marcos created such a fun vibe that people were on the dancefloor from cocktail hour to the end of the reception! He also live-mixed songs into each other and included song mashups we sent in advance which added to the fun reception vibe - he wasn't just hitting play on a Spotify playlist. We highly recommend using Dapper DJs and Marcos!!

Jack from The Dapper DJ’s was so much fun to work with and brought the party to our wedding! He had all of our guests up and dancing. He catered the music well to our taste and style. Jack went out of his way to take the time to get to know us before the wedding and understand what we were looking for. He was a delight to work with and numerous guests told us how much they loved the music!

We first encountered Najee from the Dapper DJs at a wedding expo and were immediately drawn to his vintage equipment and his impeccable outfit. He was friendly and fun to chat with so we looked them up. Their company had a look we loved and they had the attitude we were looking for: making our wedding what we wanted to the best of their ability and not trying to shoehorn us in to some template. They made the whole process pretty easy, from payments to selecting which songs we wanted, and just as importantly, letting us pick songs we didn’t want. When we had a minor communications snafu early on, Alex, the owner, helped out and made sure everything got sorted out and the process went smoothly from there. Our DJ, Chris, was fun to get to know (we bonded a bit over Star Wars, favorite movie songs, and my husband’s video game interests), and he kept emphasizing that he was there to facilitate, help our guests have a good time, but mostly to play the songs we wanted and create a memorable night. We especially appreciated his style of DJing: he was never intrusive, he helped things move along, he followed the flow of the reception in choosing songs, did his best to play nearly everything we wanted, and never did anything we didn’t ask him to do. He readily agreed to one of our main requests, which was to play full songs and not cut quickly between pieces of them as we’d experienced at other weddings. When my husband mentioned his affinity for video game music, Chris offered that he had a playlist of lofi (softer and quieter) versions of game songs and noted they made good background music as guests are eating and socializing. He happily customized it to include selections from some of my husband’s favorite games, and played that for part of the meal and then moved to his traditional love song playlist as we transitioned towards the dancing part of the evening. Throughout our planning and the wedding itself, we appreciated Chris being approachable, friendly, and even-keeled when there were unexpected changes. He even facilitated a fun moment when friends decided to dance to Bohemian Rhapsody towards the end of the evening. We enthusiastically recommend the Dapper DJs!

Dapper DJ's fit the vibe of our wedding and Najee was a rockstar at every step. If I had the money, I'd host annual events just to have Najee come DJ just because it was so much fun!

DJ Limin was our DJ for our September 2023 wedding and he brought the energy! Everyone was on the dance floor until the very last note of the very last song. We wanted a party of a wedding reception and DJ Limin’s music made that happen!

They did an excellent job at our wedding! Our DJ Cortez was awesome, and his MC skills and music selection were top notch! The dance floor was constantly occupied. Highly recommend!

Loved having Najee help us dance the night away! Absolutely wonderful to work with and our guests loved the music and flow of the day. Loved how Najee helped our guests keep track of their lost items throughout the night, and loved every second of dancing we did!

Cortez was our wedding DJ, and he was AMAZING! First off, we totally ghosted him on our first call together, and he was super understanding about it. He was also so much fun! He really knew how to keep the party going and was an awesome and flexible MC (even playing along with a little prank our Best Woman planned). Dapper DJs was super easy to communicate with too, and the owner definitely knows how to match his DJs vibes with couples.

Dapper DJs were fantastic. Alex walked us through his team's process and quickly matched us with the right DJ. Chris is fantastic. He was constantly anticipating our needs, keeping the vibe of the reception rolling, and was such a great presence and personality throughout. It's no mean feat to wrangle all the guests for a cocktail hour entrance, and Chris managed it with humor and aplomb. We received SO many compliments afterward about his DJing and hosting skills. As a sidenote, Chris even hung out for a little bit as we closed down to show the old gramophone to some interested folks in the wedding party. HIGHLY recommend Dapper DJs and Chris specifically.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Alex as our wedding DJ! From the very first meeting, his enthusiasm was contagious and we could tell right away that he would curate a vibe that matched our style. We created a playlist for inspiration, and Alex turned it into the perfect evening we won't forget! We hired Dapper DJs for my wedding in December 2022 and would recommend them to anyone for their events. They have multiple tiers of DJ levels that can fit any budget and allow for some flexibility. We went with the "bees knees" tier, which is the newest group of DJs and were not disappointed. Our entertainer was Najee and he was great to work with, very professional, flexible with last minute changes, and put together a great event. We received a lot of compliments on the cocktail hour music especially which featured a lot of unique covers of traditional pop and rock songs. There were some hiccups during the event, which is to be expected, a few instructions in the timeline were missed, but when we brought these up after the fact Najee was very professional and apologetic. Overall he created a great vibe for the event.

Working with Alex from Dapper DJs was so great. I was so confident in his knowing exactly what kind of music and vibe we were looking for and without him and his expertise I don't think our wedding would have felt so incredibly perfect. There was never a time in talking with him leading up to the wedding that I felt I had to worry about him being our DJ. Our wedding was fun, happy and the primary event was dancing and that's exactly what we wanted. Thank you, Alex!

Alex create crisp, clear sound for our ceremony and speeches, jamming dance music, and kept the party going all night! We booked The Dapper DJs through our venue, Ceresville Mansion, in Frederick MD. Alex contacted us right away to congratulate us and get the planning started. He's both fun and a professional - he had all the audio equipment we could want: wireless lavs, standing and handheld mics, uplighting, and he moved locations to suit our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Alex worked seamlessly with TLIC, our videographer and streaming video vendor, and our live entertainment.

My husband and I are so happy we booked with The Dapper DJ's. We worked with Jack to DJ our wedding day. He met with us twice to go over everything for our big day. He was very personal and easy to work with. I was happy all the songs we picked were perfectly tuned to each moment. He was able to easily set the vibe for our wedding day. We gave him some suggestions and he was able to pick the right songs after that. Very happy with their service would highly recommend!

Alex was one of our favorite vendors we worked with. He set up multiple meetings with us over the course of our wedding planning to get to know us and check in with us ahead of the big day. At our wedding, he did a fantastic job and we got so many compliments on the music. We had almost everyone dancing which was one of our top priorities for our wedding. You want Brent for your wedding. We reached out after he played at our friends’ wedding, and he didn’t disappoint at ours. He’s more than a DJ – he’s a musician, with a finely tuned sense of how to weave his playlist in a way that keeps everyone excited and engaged. As one of our guests said at our reception: “I want to sit down, but the DJ keeps playing bangers.” Enough said.

Najee Banks was our Dapper DJ and was absolutely fantastic to work with for Joey and I's wedding at the Winery at Bull Run! Najee was on time, professional, full of energy and made our ceremony and reception a blast. He played the perfect songs at the right times so the dance floor was never empty! We would absolutely recommend Najee to anyone. All the guests raved about his playlist and killer dance moves, and he made sure our first dance was the highlight of the evening. Alex was SO great to work with! He knew exactly how to get the party started and keep it going. The Dapper DJs, and Brent in particular, we're so fun to work during our wedding planning process, especially during these unprecedented times. When we needed to push our date they were extremely flexible and understanding. When the big day finally came, Brent read the dance floor so well and kept the party going all night long. You could tell that him and his assistant were really enjoying themselves, which made the night even more fun! He even sent over tons of photos and videos that they took that night, which was totally unexpected but very much appreciated!

We are so happy we decided to hire the Dapper DJs, specifically Brent, for our recent wedding. Brent was easy to work with and communicate with throughout the planning process. We hired the Dapper DJs a few years ago for our wedding and ended up postponing from May 2020 to May 2021. Throughout the entire planning process (both times), they were great to work with. We did have an incident early on into hiring (pre-COVID) where the DJ we hired ended up unexpectedly leaving the company. We had really liked him, but the owner- Alex- stepped in and took over our wedding, which made us feel very at ease. He played fantastic hits all night long. We debated a lot about what we wanted the music to be like at our wedding, and let me just say that working with Alex did NOT disappoint! From the first conversation, we felt like he wanted to get to know us and our music styles on a personal level, which made it so much easier to feel comfortable conveying what we were looking for. Leading up to the wedding, things naturally got a little hectic, and Alex went with the flow, reaching out to us directly to get the information he needed, and then didn't miss a single beat on the night of! He timed everything perfectly, sounded so professional, and obviously, rocked the music list. I was so impressed with his ability to thread between our requests and new songs that kept the dance floor thriving, while also staying true to the oldies and classics styles we said we loved. Multiple guests throughout the night commented on his awesome set up and how amazing his music selections were. None of us could sit down, he was just playing hit after hit. Sam was amazing! He managed to get everyone at our wedding out onto the dance floor at least once during the evening and kept most of our wedding guests dancing all night long. The pictures of the dance floor are some of my favorites from the wedding. Also, we weren't able to experience our cocktail hour - pictures - BUT most of the people we have caught up with since the wedding raved about the music that he played during the cocktail hour. I would HIGHLY recommend Sam and The Dapper DJs. It was the perfect fit for us.

Sam was amazing! If you are looking for a DJ who knows how to party, but also has a vintage aesthetic, look no further. Sam was perfect for our B&O Railroad Museum wedding, and the Victrolas added a special touch. He met with us regularly before the wedding to make sure our vision was on track (pun unintended) and we felt comfortable along the way. Are you looking for a DJ who will keep your guests out of their seats the whole time? Look no further! Alex was amazing from booking through the wedding day. His flexibility was astounding to my husband and I who moved 4 hours away from Frederick and are both in education, so we cannot take calls until late afternoons. Alex was available to chat whenever we needed, gave advice when we were confused, and truly heard us and our want for everyone to have a good time! The day of he showed up in amazing attire, something our guests are still raving about, and checked in on my husband and I before introductions to see how were doing. His attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I cannot thank him enough for being a part of our day and allowing us to have a party we will never forget!

Despite having to turn down their offer to meet us face to face due to scheduling conflicts, we did a call with our DJ, Jeff. He made an effort to get to know us and our music tastes. He also made an extra effort to learn names for whenever he had to act as MC for introductions.

We struggled between wanting a band or a DJ for our wedding, but when we heard about The Dapper DJ's, we were both ecstatic and were over the moon with the "2 DJ's and a Microphone" package! The guys rocked the house, everyone was dancing and then the DJ's played their instruments and the crowd was shocked! We also got the gramophones with our package and it was such a neat, added detail to our wedding! Will and Jeff were super upbeat the entire time and so easy to work with! We highly recommend them for any event!

We hired Jeff Sears of the Dapper DJs to DJ our wedding and he was fantastic! He was super fun to talk to on the phone and we had a great time meeting up in person to discuss wedding details. Throughout the whole process, Jeff was thorough and professional and I knew I could count on him. Not once did I worry about the music. During the wedding itself, Jeff arrived on time, was friendly, kept people dancing - with excellent music choices I might add (loosely based off of what we had given him... we are dance music people), and he kept up with all of my last-minute requests for announcements, a happy birthday song, etc. We had an excellent experience with Jeff as our DJ and recommend him 100%.

Sam's understated and professional style was just what our daughters wanted for their wedding. The girls enjoyed working with Sam, and even though it was planned long distance, they Skyped to work out the details. Sam's timing and sound system were perfect, and he was flexible and accommodating. The dance floor was shaking until the very end of the reception. Sam, you made the reception run smoothly. We lucked out hiring you!

Working with Alex was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he a great emcee but was also a complete pleasure to work with. He accepted our “play-only list” and the quality of sound was excellent. Highly recommend.

Will is the best DJ out there not only he did my wedding this year he did my sister wedding a few years ago so he like family now. He makes the wedding extremely fun, my husband kept saying he wasn't going to dance the way before the wedding the night of the wedding Will actually got him to dance and he was dancing a lot that night and that dance floor was crazy of party people. We all had so much fun with Will. I wouldn't want any other DJ do my Wedding Will is the best. You wont go wrong chosen Him as your DJ for your Wedding.

What a great evening we had with Stephen! He brought a pair of vintage gramophones and played old jazz records during cocktail hour. Our guests loved it - asking questions and marveling at the terrific sound. Dapper DJ owner Alex is a joy to work with! Our DJ Stephen arrived early and truly looked dapper! The Dapper DJs really got the party started at our wedding. They had a great mix of songs and the best part, if someone requested a song the DJ made sure it got our approval first. Would highly recommend!!

We worked with DJ Limin for our wedding through Monocacy Music Factory, which is related to Dapper Djs. DJ Limin was very professional and listened to all of our requests. There were some pronunciation issues when the bridal party was announced, but we did make some last minute changes so it is partially our fault there. Other than that, we had a great dance floor with great music and great audio throughout the ceremony and speeches. Thank you DJ Limin!!

This review is about Will Cole, the Dapper DJ we hired for our daughter's June wedding. No review could do justice to his professionalism, kindness, level of care and interest in adhering to our requests, and everyone's enjoyment as a result. (His good looks didn't hurt the dapper image either!). He executed all promises from start to finish. He was set up in time for the cocktail reception ahead of schedule in case of early arrivals from the church. I recommend Will Cole of the Dapper DJs (and the entire company) without a single reservation. If he isn't already booked, you will be truly fortunate to have him!

We absolutely love The Dapper DJs! Jeff was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for. He met with us before the wedding day to talk through our plan and get a feel for what kind of music we like. We said we wanted to make sure everyone of all ages was dancing and Jeff definitely delivered! We decided to add the gramophone to our cocktail hour and it really added something special. We had issues with our wedding coordinator and Jeff went above and beyond to step up and make things go smoothly for us. Most importantly, he picked great songs and kept the fun vibe going from start to finish!

There is NO ONE better than Alex at Dapper DJs. He was the heartbeat of our entire day with perfect timing and execution throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. The dance floor was packed all night and we have received so many compliments on the music. Working with Alex was fun and easy. He really listens to your vision and offers great suggestions when needed. I seriously cannot recommend this company enough.

Dapper DJs is incredible! I had never heard of Dapper DJs until I was at a wedding expo and heard them playing. I knew instantly that I had to have them for my wedding! I booked Alex and he seriously rocked the house. He sent me a wedding site that was nice and easy to put my music requests and other information he needed for the big day. He seriously kept the party going and orchestrated the entire night for us! Everything went so well and we cant thank Alex and Dapper DJs enough for helping us to create a romantic ceremony along with a rocking reception!

Alex was such a pleasure to work with! He was extremely accommodating and flexible, as well as consistently responsive during the planning process. On the wedding day, he did a great job keeping the reception moving along. Most impressively, our dance floor was packed the entire night! Our guests are still raving about what a blast the reception was, and a lot of that we can attribute to Alex! I would highly recommend him for someone who is professional, experienced, and brings the party!

Alex and his crew did the best job with the music at our wedding! I'm an avid audiophile, and Alex listened to all of my thoughts and opinions about the type of music I wanted played throughout the wedding, and he took my ideas, and did exactly what I wanted except even better. All of my guests agreed it was the best wedding playlist they'd ever heard! Everyone danced! So easy to work with, would recommend to anyone!

The Dapper DJs rocked! It was great working with Alex. He was able to capture the exact musical feel we were going for and the crowd loved it. There were people on the dance floor all night! And Alex handled our last minute requests beautifully and was able to find our first dance song just days before the wedding.

Words cannot express how amazing the Dapper DJs are!!! Music is very important to my husband and I so we knew our guests would expect an amazing DJ. Well we DEFINITELY had the best DJ out there! DJ Will was amazing throughout the whole process. When we met to plan our ceremony and reception music we didn’t have very many ideas. Will was determined to pick the perfect songs for every part of our day and he knocked it out of the park. We had so much fun planning all of the music with him from the preceremony music to the last song of the reception. Not only is his musical taste exceptional but he made sure the whole day went so smoothly and perfectly. My MOH (aka sister) was terrified to give her speech so Will gave her a pep talk and it worked! She was so confident and her speech went so well! My husband also worked with Will to surprise me and perform a song for everyone and it couldn’t have gone any better. My guests are still raving about DJ Will and how much fun our wedding was! Thanks so much for everything Dapper DJs you guys are AWESOME!

I cannot recommend the Dapper DJs enough! My wife and I worked closely with Jack over the course of the months leading up to our wedding, and he made everything move so smoothly and efficiently, not to mention he’s such a nice guy and so friendly. He made us feel confident at every step, and easily accommodated some of our more unique music requests: I’m Persian, and we wanted to play some Persian music at our reception and, despite being unfamiliar with Persian music at first, Jack put together an amazing selection that made that one of the most memorable parts of the evening! These guys are the best in the business!

Jack from The Dapper DJs was a pleasure to work with throughout our wedding. He was responsive and helpful as we were planning our special day and provided great entertainment! The Dapper DJs’ design and decoration were a hit with our guests and we received plenty of positive feedback about the classic music played during the cocktail hour. The Dapper DJs’ ability to play everything from old time jazz to modern day hits and classic tunes to modern pop provided a unique and friendly feel to the evening. Jack was calm in the face of some intense weather as thunderstorms rolled in on our outdoor reception. In conjunction with our coordinator, Jack responded quickly and professionally as he kept the party going without anyone realizing that our original plan had been completely changed, and continued to change throughout the evening! Jack’s positive attitude helped ensure an enjoyable, fun, and stress free night for everyone attending! We would have been much more stressed if it wasn’t for Jack’s calm demeanor and fun spirit. Alex from The Dapper DJs was great to work with. He was super helpful during the planning stages. I had no idea what to do for ceremony music, and he even helped my look through my day of timeline to determine when to do first dance, cake cutting, etc. He was great! The music was fun and he was really good at feeling out the crowd.

DJ Will did a great job of reading the room and seeing which king of songs got people out on the dance floor. There were more than a few sore legs the morning after. I know I'm biased, but he definitely presided over one of the best dance floors I've seen at a wedding. Still disappointed that we didn't finish pictures in time to see the gramophones in action but the guests loved them.

We booked Jeff via Dapper DJs and it was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. Throughout the build-up to the wedding, Jeff was both proactive and responsive and went out of his way to make sure that he would be able to accommodate our requests - even on the day, he showed his flexibility by accommodating any last-minute changes. When we arrived at the venue, Jeff had everything set up for cocktail hour, which meant the world to us knowing that everything was in hand. We submitted some sample playlists to Jeff and I am so pleased that he took all of our requests into account; numerous guests approached us after the event either to request the playlists or to say that it was genuinely the best set that they had ever heard at a wedding. There was not one moment where the dance-floor was empty, and this is exactly what we wanted. If you are looking for the perfect DJ for your perfect day, look no further.

Dapper DJs were the best!! My husband and I were beyond pleased with Will and his team. The music was on point and they were great at communicating with us. I had multiple people approach me about how awesome the music was at our wedding. Dance floor was poppin the whole time. Would work with them again in a heartbeat. You can’t go wrong!!

If I could give these guys a higher rating I would!! Our wedding was 10/27, and Sam was not only a fantastic DJ, but he also MC’d would whole cocktail hour and reception! He helped keep us on our desired timeline, as well as making sure we were having fun too! He was on top of his communication with us, having Skype meetings late at night with our crazy schedules, and offering amazing advice and perspective that we greatly valued as we planned our party. Sam made sure to play what we had requested, but also was really able to read the crowd and keep the flow up of dancing. The gramophones were an amazing touch during our cocktail hour. Sam was quick to set up, and take down the equipment. He was sharply dressed for our more formal setting and all around great to get along with. Sam is the man. Dapper DJ’s are definitely the way to go for any event needing great music!

OMFG, what can I say about The Dapper DJ's, and especially Jeff Sears. They are the best DJ's I have ever heard and you will regret not booking these guys as your premiere DJ's for your next event. I contacted Alex after seeing the rave reviews from researching through the knot. Their style and energetic vibe was what I was searching for our Gatsby themed wedding. After, some back and forth, they assigned Jeff Sears to our wedding and assured me he would take care of us. Not only did Jeff take care of us, he was a superstar in setting the tone for the entire wedding. If you trust that this man knows his stuff and knows how to get a party started, and keep it going, then book the Dapper DJ's and Jeff Sears for your wedding. I seriously cannot give enough praise to Jeff for all that he has done to make our night such a memorable night. Everyone attending our wedding complimented us on hiring such a fun and knowledgeable DJ that knew how to read a crowd. Not one person left the dance floor as soon as the music started.
