I worked with Shelby for my engagement and wedding. I'm not very creative and I wanted something that my wife would remember for the engagement and she absolutely helped me with a Cinderella themed engagement. She did an ever better job on our wedding. I'll be forever grateful for her ideas and her professionalism.

We worked with Shelby from The Day's Design for the florals for our ceremony and reception for our July 2016 wedding in the Leelanau area. From the first moment I talked with Shelby, her genuine interest and passion showed through and I knew we had to pick her. She was thoughtful, attentive to detail, and truly listened to the vision I had for our wedding day. She made our bouquets, boutinerres, flower crowns for the flower girls, an elegant yet simple arrangement for our birch tree arch and all of the table florals for the reception. We had endless compliments on the florals, and they couldn't have flowed with our theme (beach ceremony, winery reception) any better. I highly recommend Shelby and her services to any couple planning their wedding!! You won't regret it!!

Another daughter married and we utilized Shelby's amazing talents for a second time. Her ability to transform a venue and capture any theme is incredible. Floral design is exquisite and most of all she's a delight to work with!

I had a very specific vision for our wedding, and when I discovered Shelby’s wild and romantic floral designs I knew she was the perfect fit – however, I could never have imagined how wonderful she would be to work with as well. She helped me perfectly execute my detailed vision (I believe I sent her a 30 page “style guide”), handling not only the flowers but day-of coronation too, helping to bring my ideas into reality. Our wedding would not have been the whimsical, elegant affair that it was without Shelby’s talents to bring it to life.

Shelby was amazing! We hired her for Day of planning, flowers and the event planning - we decided to find all of our major vendors ourselves. Shelby was our saving grace! Shelby communicated with us along the way, checking in to make sure we were where we needed to be. She also brought so many beautiful ideas to the table, and she knew exactly what we wanted. We couldn't have pictured a more perfect wedding day. All of our guests continue to talk about how beautiful everything was and how they have never been to a wedding as bright, fun and beautiful as ours. If you want your day to go smooth, and want that extra help, do not hesitate - Shelby is your woman! You will not regret it!

We had the most amazing experience working with Shelby at The Day's Design for our June 2016 wedding in Lake Leelanau, Michigan. Shelby was our full-service wedding planning throughout the process and I can honestly say we could not have executed our dream wedding without her. She completely understood our vision and created the most beautiful day while keeping us calm , organized and on-budget throughout the process. Shelby was always available to answer questions and bounce ideas off of while providing us with the guidance and support we wanted. We ended up having the most gorgeous, fun and thoughtful wedding thanks to Shelby's work! I highly recommend working with Shelby on everything wedding related, from ideation to day-of setup she should be your go-to. She also does the BEST blooms in the business - our guests raved about every floral design she did!

Using Shelby for floral, design, and coordination was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day. She was with us for a year and a half helping plan, design, and coordinate everything, and she did an absolutely AMAZING job! I had worked with Shelby before I hired her for my wedding, so I knew that she would be great! She does beautiful work when it comes to floral. I just gave her some ideas of what I was thinking and some flowers that I like and left the rest up to her, knowing that the outcome would be stunning, and I was right! I didn't really have a clue what anything would look like until the morning of our wedding, and she out-did herself. I was absolutely in LOVE with my bouquet, and all the other florals that she put together! Shelby also put together an awesome Donut display for our cocktail hour! Her coordination, and everything that she did the day of made the day run so smoothly, and I was so happy with how everything turned out! She is SO nice, helpful, and super easy to work and get along with! I would recommend her to anyone getting married!!

Shelby was SUCH a JOY to work with! Both my mom and I were very involved in the process and she handled both of our opinions with professionalism and gave us each what we hoped to achieve from floral designs to decor. We used Shelby for floral arrangements, decor, and "day of" event coordinating. She was always so organized and went above and beyond to be helpful. We had a destination wedding in Northern Michigan- she walked through our venue with us TWO different times, to make sure we were all on the same page. I cannot say enough great things about her- she made my wedding day absolutely gorgeous and fulfilled everything I had envisioned it to be!

Shelby went above and beyond just the beautiful floral arrangements. We used her for all linens, table arrangements, day of services, decor and much more that I am forgetting. She was organized and very professional but took the time to listen. This was a destination wedding but Shelby took the time to meet us in Northern Michigan to review the venue ahead of time. Everything was beautiful and we could not be happier with her service. When you see the pictures you will understand her talent!

My husband and I hired Shelby for day of wedding planning services. I originally thought I could do all of the decorating myself, but 2 months before my wedding I was completely overwhelmed and had to hand off this responsibility in order to keep my sanity! She was referred to me by another vendor and I couldn't have been more happy with her help! She did absolutely everything I wanted and then some. My venue looked stunning! She took care of setup and tear down of all decorations. She developed a day of timeline for me and confirmed all vendors for me. She helped facilitate my rehearsal as well. She is honestly worth her weight in gold! She is very sweet, very organized, and always responded so quickly whenever I had a concern or question (this was SO important to me!!). My wedding day flew by but I can honestly say I had fun and it was definately a day I want to relive again and again!

From the moment we met with Shelby from the Days Design, I knew it was a perfect fit. She jumped in and assisted at all levels. Even though she was coordinating from an out-of-town location, she seemed to know just who to contact and found venues I've never heard of (even though I've lived in this area all my life). She designed the invitations, customized the floral designs (her talent to mix florals are amazing), had access to exquisite linens. She handled every detail with a unique flare. Her creativity was like nothing I've ever seen. But, here's the best part...everything was done within budget. Thank you Shelby for allowing us to relax and enjoy the day every bride (and Mother of the bride) dreams of!

My (now!) husband and I booked Shelby with The Day's Design for day-of event styling, and are completely certain that it was one of our best decisions throughout the planning process! Our reception venue required us to set up our own decorations, which meant that the day of our wedding either us or our family would have been working to set everything up......that is NOT what should be happening on your wedding day! Shelby was with us all along the way, ordering our specialty linens, chargers, and more. The absolute best feeling was meeting with Shelby at our venue 2 days before the wedding, giving her everything we had for the reception decor, and knowing that everything was in the BEST hands! The next time I saw everything, it was completely done and put together in at our venue, just the way it was imagined. If you're looking for an event coordinator or day-of coordinate, they don't come more kind, hand-working, creative, and passionate as Shelby with The Days Design!
