I had a rockstar vendor team - But I have been looking forward to leaving this review the most. Wherever you are getting married - If DC DJs will travel to you, contact Mario immed...
iately and book them.
I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding in Leesburg, VA and I had the most fun during their reception with the DC DJs Team. My friend was a wedding photographer herself so I knew she was around a lot of different DJs so it showed a lot to see who she chose for her personal vendor team. My fiance and I were planning a wedding at Smith Mountain Lake which is 4 hours south of Leesburg. I inquired if they would travel that far and they would, for an additional fee, and it was the best decision we made.
Mario helped us through deciding what package was right for our event. They provided planning guides that made music selection and organization a breeze. Just in the final planning meeting alone, his personality was so much fun. I am not overexaggerating when I say that Mario was by far the most complimented vendor we had. Almost every guest went out of their way to tell us how much they loved him. His enthusiasm was genuinely contagious. I assumed my parents would sit and talk to their friends and family during the majority of dancing but they were on their feet with most all of the guests through the night. We had two hours of straight dancing and if I could have changed anything, I would have prolonged the party so that we could have had more time. I could not be happier with our experience with DC DJs. I really hope I get to go to another wedding in the future with this team so we can relive the fun.
Mario is an amazing DJ!! He knows how to read a room and keep your guests on the dance floor. Our venue manager said they were impressed with his ability to keep everyone dancing, ...
they never had a wedding where people danced as much!! What stood out to my husband and I when searching for a DJ is that Mario is so charismatic and you can’t help but be happy when chatting with him. We knew he would bring good energy to our wedding day! He is very professional, made sure to keep on timeline, and he has a few pleasant surprises up his sleeve to make your day even more special. We had a blast at our June 2023 wedding!! I would recommend Mario to anyone in search of their wedding DJ.
Mario was amazing! He kept the party going and was a very kind person to work with. He also works with your Spotify playlists which made it easy to create the music for our day!
Mario is absolutely the fun you need for your wedding. He is not only a great DJ that plays good music and hypes up the crowd, but he is also professional with the whole timeline, ...
forms to be filled out, great equipment, lighting, photo and video booth, and props. Definitely recommend him!
Run, don’t walk, to book Mario as your DJ right now! We booked him for our wedding, after he was listed as a recommended vendor by our venue, and he did not disappoint at all. His ...
fun personality, positive attitude, and effective communication skills made him the perfect DJ! He really took into account our music taste while also giving recommendations when we asked for them. He has a natural talent for reading the room and made sure the music was setting the appropriate vibe from start to finish. An added bonus was all of the amazing special effects and add ons he offers! We used cold sparks for our exit after the reception and we also used the photo booth. We wouldn’t hesitate to book him again for a future event. We are so thankful and grateful for his contribution to making our wedding day so perfect!
Mario is the BEST! Seriously - look no further for a DJ. We got married 6 months ago and we still get compliments from people about how amazing our DJ was. Mario made the planning ...
process so fun and easy. He was such a joy to work with. He was so receptive to our requests for different music throughout the day. During our reception, the dance floor was packed the entire night! Mario’s playlist was AMAZING. We never wanted the night to end! I HIGHLY recommend him!! We would book with him again and again! Absolutely worth every penny. We cannot get over how amazing it was! You can tell he truly loves what he does, and his positive energy radiates to everyone around him. I want to plan another party just so we can have Mario come and DJ. Book him for your wedding!!
Mario was one of our first vendors chosen for our October 2022 wedding. And by far, the best person we had on our special day. Mario incapsulated everything we had envisioned and m...
ore. We couldn’t imagine such a special day without him doing everything and more to make sure we could focus on each other . Please trust me when I say if you are reading this review that you found the one. Thanks Mario and DC DJs for making Camila and I’s wedding a forever memory with your exquisite work and detail.
PS: Go with the canon!
DJ Alex from The DC DJ’s was the DJ for our wedding. Alex was simply incredible. He put so much attention and effort into making our day special. Every single element from ceremon...
y to reception was controlled to a tee. He was perfect at mixing genres from dinner to the dance floor and truly kept the dance floor packed from start to finish. We were supposed to have a shuttle do an early run back to the hotel and it never left because no one wanted to leave. Our venue said this was the first time they had ever seen this happen. We contribute this to Alex!
If you are getting married and looking for a top notch experience you can do no better than Alex.
Our wedding was a non-stop dance party and it was 100% due to our DJ Mario from The DC DJs! He was incredible! He was responsive from our initial booking, had a super easy online w...
edding planning form for us to fill out, and had a really fun zoom meeting with us prior to our wedding to get a feel for us and for how we wanted our event to be. He brought the party and I barely left the dance floor the whole evening! All of guests said he was the best DJ they had ever heard and I couldn’t agree more. 10/10 would highly recommend and I hope I get to go to more events where he’s handling the music again! Thank you!
Mario worked hard to make our wedding day special! It was a pleasure to have Mario be our DJ and emcee at our wedding. He was fun to work with and helped make our day unforgettable...
, and he has an INCREDIBLE voice! In our prep call, he worked with us to understand our wedding day style and how to manage the flow of events perfectly. He was so organized and answered all of our questions from a distance. We always felt confident knowing that he was handling the show. After the wedding, we received several compliments from our guests that he was the best DJ they have experienced, from former DJs and music people! They said, "he was overall great, with a great personality, looks, voice, and guest interaction (like giving dance lessons to the guests!)." Our guests have said that it's one of the best weddings they've been to, in large part to Mario kicking up his heels and joining in the fun! DC DJs knows how to make a Bride & Groom feel special. Thank you, Mario!

e and had great ideas which helped put our minds at ease. We tasked Mario with creating a playlist ranging from 80s rock to 2000s hip hop to EDM, along with an elaborate dance/event from Polish wedding tradition! The dance floor was constantly packed and everyone raved about how good he was! He truly made the night for my wife and me! Besides just the music, he is a great MC, works well with other vendors, and is a calm and supportive presence to have at your wedding. Book The DC DJs now, I’m begging you!

ng too much, but Mario read the crowd perfectly and kept everyone engaged the whole evening! We had almost every guest at some point of the night tell us how great our DJ was. I can’t recommend these guys enough!!

was a hit too! Without Mario, the evening may have been a flop. Thank you, DC DJs!!
Our experience with Mario was perfect from start to finish. We started by interviewing a lot of different DJs but Mario stood out the most to us. We spoke on the phone about how we...
were looking for a certain vibe. We needed a DJ who could bring the life to our party, keep our people going(a 7hr reception) and most importantly be able to tell when a song was just not doing it for everyone and to fade into a new one. Mario completely agreed and addressed our concerns and on the day of, executed with such amazing grace and precision. When we met in person for the first time, he was so kind and efficient in asking all the right questions, offering suggestions and listening to our wants and needs. As the night went on, our guests got more drunk and less coordinated. When one of our guests requested the Cuban shuffle and no one could get it together, Mario pauses the song, made a little joke, then proceeded to restart the song and get into the crowd with us to dance— IT WAS AWESOME! He also worked incredibly well with our other vendors and provided song mixes and excellent customer service! WE WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE USING HIM IN THE NEAR FUTURE! Best DJ ever! Love the Holdaways
