The Dead Letter Press creates stunning wedding stationery from Asbury Park, New Jersey. Specializing in vintage-style print materials, The Dead Letter Press is ideal for couples who value aesthetics in everything from save-the-dates to place cards.
With a passion for fine art printmaking, The Dead Letter Press team uses two original Heidelberg presses as well as tabletop hand presses to create each piece. They have about 50 cases of moveable type, allowing them to create unique designs to match your wedding theme, design, and color. Certain items can be foil stamped, while specialty pieces can be created through custom die orders. Whether you’d like menu cards or an entire wedding invitation suite, there are options to suit every couple’s needs.
While the team primarily prints using the letterpress style, they can accommodate other styles, from engraving to lithography. The talented team designs many of the materials printed on-site, using a creative eye to yield incredible results. They’re happy to discuss your custom order and will walk you through the process, answering any questions you may have.

There’s no one else I’d trust more with my most important print needs. Glenn is a magician. He took our abstract concepts and brought them to life, far exceeding our expectations. The care and attention he delivered to every aspect of our wedding invitations—hand-drawn(!) design, gorgeous paper texture and weight selection, RSVP concept, and more—along with his empathy and kindness in truly seeking to meet us where we were, resulted in a top-notch customer experience. Would highly recommend.

Thank you so much! It was an absolute pleasure to work with you both to make your vision a reality, what made it even better was to be able to share the day with you both.

The Dead Letter Press was created as an outlet for my desire to work with and create old-world style printed matter. The name is an homage to the print group that I was a part of while studying at Rutgers at the RCIPP.
I am a letterpress printer and designer focusing on custom letterpress printing for clients.
