Julie is the BEST!!! 10/10, I cannot recommend booking her highly enough.
From the moment I had my introductory call with her, I knew she was going to be my wedding photographer. ...
She guided the entire conversation so effortlessly, and by the time she asked if I had any questions, I looked down at my list and realized she had already answered every single one without me even having to ask. That immediately gave me so much confidence in her experience, organization, and ability to truly understand what we wanted. She took the time to make sure we were on the same page about the vision we had for our wedding photos, and I left that call knowing she completely understood us.
On our wedding weekend, when I met Julie, I felt as though I had known her my whole life. She has such a joy to be around and has a genuine personality that immediately made us feel comfortable. She made taking photos feel effortless and fun, even for those of us who aren't naturally comfortable in front of the camera. Instead of feeling like a long photoshoot, it felt like we were simply enjoying moments together while she captured them naturally.
Julie has an incredible eye for the details and little moments that make a wedding so special. She captured not only the big milestones of the day but also all the candid moments, emotions, and details that we didn't even realize were happening. Looking through our gallery brought us right back to our wedding day, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful collection of memories.
Beyond her talent, Julie was organized, communicative, and genuinely invested in making our day as stress free as possible. She kept everything running smoothly, made us feel completely comfortable, and was an absolute joy to have by our side throughout the day. We are beyond grateful we chose her and will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.
Julie was absolutely amazing to work with! From start to finish, she made us feel so comfortable and captured every moment so beautifully. Her attention to detail and ability to ca...
tch both the big moments and the little in-between ones was incredible—we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
She brought such great energy throughout the entire day and kept things fun and relaxed. We’ll forever hear her saying “three, three, three!” while snapping photos, which honestly just became part of the magic and made us all smile.
If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, professional, and truly passionate about what she does, Julie is the one. We are so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone!
Julie truly capturing Stills that are so Dear.
When I first began my wedding planning, I knew I wanted to hire an amazing photographer. I wanted to be able to look back at my wedd...
ing photos and feel the same emotions as I did on my wedding day. I researched many photographers, looked at hundreds of photos and portfolios until I discovered Julie (The Dearest Still). My husband was my "love at first sight" and The Dearest Still was my "love at first photo". I knew from looking at Julie's galleries, I wanted to have her be part of my wedding. Hiring Julie was the best decision I have made. After our initial meeting, I knew that Julie was the photographer to capture my special day. Julie made sure to frequently communicate with my now husband and I through Google meet sessions, texts, and emails. She made sure that all of our questions were answered. Julie was our engagement AND wedding photographer. She was able to take two people who have never taken professional pictures and create beautiful images. She told us how to pose and made us laugh to capture genuine moments. Prior to the wedding, Julie created our wedding timeline to coordinate with our venue coordinator to make sure our special day went smoothly. I did not have a big bridal party and on my wedding day, Julie became one of my bridesmaids. She made sure that my dress was always fluffed and my hair piece and veil was in place. Not to mention she is the best HYPE girl! Every time she would take a picture, she would say, "Love!" "So pretty!" "I am obsessed" "You are so cute" "So beautiful". I have already asked Julie to be the family photographer to capture more beautiful moments to come. Julie is the absolute best, just hire her for your special day and experience how amazing she is!

ience. You only need to look through her work to see her insane talent behind a camera, but what you don't see is everything else she brings to the table. Julie is so warm and easy to work with, which helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she is also an absolute powerhouse of energy! She brings so much lively energy on your wedding day and before & she can't seem to help always going the extra mile for her clients. Her energy and organization helped us plan our timeline, stay relaxed on our wedding day, and have so much fun through the whole process. She really knows how to capture stunning pictures full of emotion and have fun while doing it. You could not choose anyone better to trust with documenting your wedding!!!
Julie was an absolute dream to work with for my June wedding. From our very first call, I knew I could trust her completely. She not only brought my vision for wedding photography ...
to life, but somehow knew exactly what I wanted, even when I didn’t. Her energy was infectious and kept everyone smiling despite the heat and humidity. Julie managed my large bridal party of 15 with ease and grace, never once showing signs of fatigue. I truly don’t know how I would’ve made it through the day without her. Thanks to Julie, I felt more relaxed, more joyful, and so well taken care of.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Julie from The Dearest Still during our wedding weekend in Boston. Julie is a gem of a human and is seriously talented when it comes to ...
her work! She is so passionate and treats her clients and their families like her own. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to how to get the best shots and provides insanely good feedback and detailed timelines. I don’t know what we would have done without Julie’s help throughout the planning process and throughout the weekend. Everyone was raving about her upbeat personality and her work. If you need a photographer for your next event, Julie is your girl!!

e is a professional through and through but also brought such a fun energy to our day. We loved hearing about her “storytelling” approach and feel like she captured the emotions of our day perfectly. She is truly so talented, we were blown away by the photos when we got the preview back from our wedding only a day and a half later! Would absolutely recommend Julie for all of your event photography needs!

We couldn’t be more thrilled with Julie’s photos from our wedding in Boston! Our wedding weekend had a unique schedule with events at multiple locations, and Julie was incredibly a...
ccommodating throughout the entire process. She worked closely with us to help develop a plan and to ensure that everything flowed smoothly and that we would end up with all of the photos we wanted.
From the very beginning, Julie took the time to understand our vision and approached our wedding weekend with enthusiasm and creativity. During the wedding weekend itself she adapted seamlessly to our schedule, managing to capture every important moment without missing a beat. For example, when we had to change a photo location due to a timing issue, it was no problem and we ended up with photos that were even better than what we had envisioned. During our celebration, she (and the second shooter she hired to help out) got an awesome mix of photos of us and our guests, with plenty of fun candids that really captured the celebratory energy of the evening.
After the wedding, we were shocked with how quickly Julie got us tons of highlight/sneak peak pictures. Reviewing the photos and reliving the fun of our wedding during our honeymoon was such a joy. The rest of the photos arrived in a great timeframe too. The quality of the photos is absolutely stunning—each image is vibrant and full of emotion. From portraits of the two of us, to family photos, to candids, every photo is incredible. We, and our families, are so thrilled to have so many fantastic photos commemorating our weekend.
Julie is not only an excellent photographer, but also a kind, affable person who is lovely to work with. We highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

ig day—and she exceeded our expectations in every way.
From multiple planning meetings to ensure everything was captured perfectly to her detailed timeline, Julie quickly became one of the best parts of our wedding planning process.
As a couple not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, Julie and Larry helped us feel at ease throughout the day and somehow made us look like models in the final album. We’ve received (and continue to receive) endless compliments on the work of our photography team. Someone could have mistaken Julie and Larry as one of our good friends as the day progressed.
We’re so fortunate to have these beautiful memories to cherish for a lifetime. Julie’s personality has an unmatched aura, and it shines through in her work. We’d rebook her 1,000 times over!

eautiful, ethereal quality to every shot, and we feel so lucky to have these photos to remember our special day. From the start, Julie was a dream to work with. Our phone calls were always exciting, and she was so clear, organized, and incredibly helpful in creating our wedding day timeline, making everything go smoothly. She recently sent us a highlight gallery just a few days after the wedding, and we were blown away—it brought us so much joy to relive those moments through her lens. Julie also made our engagement photoshoot such a fun experience. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and professional photographer!
Julie is an absolutely amazing photographer and vendor. Not only did our photos come out beautifully, she really helped us with the itinerary for the day which was a HUGE help.

couldn’t stop crying tears of joy! She captured our love so beautifully! She has a great energy and was awesome about making everyone feel comfortable and confident throughout the day. She was also great at helping to corral family and friends to keep everything moving smoothly. We could not have asked for a better experience!

comfortable, had us laughing and still made us look like models through her lenses! For any couple who are awkward and shy in front of the camera, we highly recommend working with Julie!!
After much research on who to choose for my photographer, I ended up choosing Julie. Her instagram presence, artistic style, and photo angles were what initially drawn me to her. I...
was pleasantly surprised at learning about her reasonable pricing too. Before the photoshoot, Sean and I worried that the photos won't we able to show our chemistry since we were too shy to pose in public. On photoshoot day, Julie and immediately made us feel comfortable making faces and poses in public. We enjoyed our session together and it was very easy to talk to Julie about what we wanted out of the shoot. The photos came out exactly as we asked for because Julie was flexible, open-minded, personable, and talented at what she does. Thank you! I'm excited to get the rest of the photos!

d that it was too short of a notice and had to compromise, but Julie was there to help us every step of the way. She helped choose the perfect sceneries and suggested the perfect poses. She captured moments where we were naturally happy. She made this process enjoyable and less stressful.
Julie is AMAZING!!
We did an engagement session on Nantucket and cannot stop looking at the photos!
We had never taken professional photos, so we thought we might’ve been awkward...
or not know what to do. No worries here! Julie had us laughing and smiling the whole entire session and told us exactly how to position and the rest just flowed!
Julie had such a beautiful vision- from using a fun mini coop convertible car, lighthouse, beach, using floral cottages as a backdrop, and even utilizing moving bicyclers and cars to create fun motion photos.
My fiancé afterwards said “I didn’t expect to have to much fun doing a photoshoot! I’d do another!” That’s how laid back and fun Julie made it. She sent us SO many sneak peaks and we are swooning over them. Friends and family are in awe of her work!
It is hard to put into words how Julie impacted our wedding day. We met Julie when she was photographing another wedding. Julie was out on the dance floor, laughing with our friend...
s, and when we saw her work product, we knew we wanted to work with her. Thankfully she was available for our date!! Julie brings a lot of personality to her work both in person and in the pictures. She considers the vision of the couple and is aware of trends that can add a little pop of style as well. Julie is very organized, which helped relieve my husband during the wedding planning process We engaged Julie to stay on for an extra hour until the end of the wedding, and we are so thankful we did -- having her in the last hour to capture the end of the night was something we do not regret. Julie has a great network of people and gave us a referral for our videographer. Her 2nd photographer at our wedding was very personable and fit right in with the vibe of the wedding party and our families. Julie also fit right in with all of us and we plan to stay in touch with her and reach out when we are ready to start a family :) We highly recommend Julie to be your wedding photographer!!!

to make ANYONE (and I mean anyone) feel comfortable and confident behind the camera, Julie is THE GIRL! She’s amazing to work with before and after the sessions too, from helping plan a mood bored to discussing and scouting the location, Julie comes prepared and ready to capture whatever the event is, and allowing you to relax and take it off your mind!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The photo session itself was full of fun. We were shy and very awkward at first, but she was a delightful guide, and we were able to enjoy the process gradually. Julie suggested many places and styles to take photos, making it easy for us to smile and get natural expressions. It turned out to be the most memorable day of our time in Boston. We would definitely recommend her to many who are considering their photos to be taken.
Julie, we can't thank you enough for the wonderful photos and the amazing experience. Your flexibility and creativity made our photo session a truly enjoyable one. We are grateful for the memories you've helped us create. Thank you, Julie!

Our family photos, which we received today, are nothing short of spectacular. Julie has a remarkable talent for bringing out the best in everyone, making the entire family feel comfortable and engaged. The pictures are not just photographs; they are genuine moments frozen in time.
The beautiful photos of our August wedding are truly magical. Julie's keen eye for detail and her ability to capture the essence of the moment are unparalleled. Each image tells a story, and we find ourselves reliving the joy and love of that day whenever we look at them.
Beyond her exceptional skills, Julie's presence at the wedding was a highlight for our guests. Her energy, professionalism, and friendly demeanor impressed everyone. Many of our friends and family have since commented on how fantastic our photographer was, and we couldn't agree more.
Choosing Julie was one of the best decisions we made for our special day. Her passion for her craft shines through in every photograph, and we are grateful for the priceless memories she has given us. If you're looking for a photographer who goes above and beyond, capturing moments that you'll treasure forever, Julie is the one.
Thank you, Julie, for making our wedding and engagement so beautifully memorable!

ur timeline and helped to customize her wedding packages to fit our plan for the day. She really helped us with the details of the timeline for the day. I first thought that we would be able to get the family photos done before the wedding since we didn't want to miss too much of the cocktail hour, but Julie knew that there wouldn't be enough time. Her and her second shooter worked so efficiently to get our family photos done quickly directly after the ceremony so we wouldn't miss too much time with our guests. She did a fantastic job of nicely directing family members to make sure that we captured every photo we wanted. She also did an amazing job of making us comfortable in front of the camera. While I was late to the venue on our wedding day, Julie was there early to get a feel for the location (since she hadn't shot there before) and to capture all of the details. She sent us so many sneak peak photos so quickly and they really captured our special day! The full gallery was ready about 2 months later and is organized so well. I can't stop looking through all of them - I can't even begin to pick favorites. They really bring us right back to that day. Her candid photos were beautiful - I can't get enough of them! I love seeing the joy and laughter on all our guests faces throughout the day. Because of her, I didn't regret not having a videographer. We didn't end up doing an engagement session due to weather ruining our original plan, but we can't wait to work with Julie in the future for some anniversary photos in the coming years! Thank you for all of these memories Julie!
Julie was amazing! We were fortunate enough to find Julie through a family member and she did not disappoint. It was a true collaboration with her that felt seamless. We ...
felt heard and worked together creating a timeline for photographs we knew we wanted, ones we knew we didn’t and ones we never thought about until Julie brought them to our attention. Her flexibility and roll with it attitude made for a stress free time for us. Julie’s communication with us on what she needed from us in regards to photographs and timing was clear and allowed for us to plan around it. Having Julie do our wedding photographs turned out to be having a friend join us at the wedding at the same time. She was a true professional, and the photographs she took were simply stunning. She captured every single moment we wanted, and so many other candid ones we hadn’t expected to want. The photographs were gorgeous. The quality was perfect, and the way she captured the angles and lighting made them so special to us. Julie was just as invested as we were on our wedding day, and the proof was in her photographs.

rnoon and evening wedding ceremony/party, Saturday evening expanded celebration, and Sunday morning brunch. And, despite this dizzying array of ceremony, food, fun, and partying--Julie was able to capture IT ALL. She encapsulated the most minute details, from those that would otherwise be long forgotten and perhaps would never have been noticed, to the perfect moments of commitment and celebration. Her photographs are more than pictures--they are pieces of art of which we are in awe. The moments of the best days of our lives are now enhanced and forever etched in our collective memories. Her professional approach not only included her ability to choose the perfect "portraits" of our days, but she did so seamlessly---Julie was part of the background, and certainly was NEVER obtrusive or "in the way". She is polite, accommodating, respectful and TALENTED. For those couples who decide not to choose Julie and the Dearest Still, they will be depriving themselves of the opportunity of perfectly capturing the memories of, hopefully, their perfect day(s). We were blessed, beyond measure, to use Julie and the Dearest Still. We will be forever grateful.

highly recommend her.
So, we just received the most incredible shots of our wedding day. We highly recommend Julie as your photographer and here’s why.
We planed a very very last minute wedding and we...
were so lucky she was available on our wedding day. (You will notice how busy this girl is when you check her instagram) when I messaged her she was on a family vacation but took the time (since we were literally 3 weeks from the wedding) to let us know she can do it (which helped so much because I could stop searching, thank God!) and was just super honest about the pricing and actually helped customize based on our needs for the night.
Secondly, my family’s Korean and yes, they all speak English but just the fact that she could communicate to both families in Korean and English helped 10000%.
Julie does her homework, prepares for your day in advance, shows up early and is ready to GO! For a petite lady, man she’s got some energy! We loved her.
Honestly the pictures look better than the wedding. Truly amazing!! My husband and I, our family and friends are so happy and blown away by the quality of photographs. Very natural, and of course the occasional tacky but fun pictures!
We are already making plans to schedule sessions with Julie. Thank you <3

t. If you have a vision, she'll do everything in her power to help it come to true. Unsure how to theme your photos? She's got you covered! We have received nothing but positive feedback about our photos. They are stunning! I highly recommend Julie and The Dearest Still.
Julie was BEYIND AMAZING! She relieved all my nerves from our first walkthrough at the venue. She has an amazing eye to use the natural lightening to get the most amazing pictures....
She is able to capture the moments with the feelings not just take a pretty picture.
Julie helped to make a detailed timeline for my wedding day since I was not hiring a coordinator. She was always professional but never stuffy. She was personable with everyone in the family and wedding.
The photo gallery and sneak peek photos were UNBELIEVABLE! There are so many amazing photos it’s hard to choose my favorite! The fact that there were kids in my wedding and she was able to capture pictures of everyone looking and smiling is a skill that not many have. Julie made everything comfortable, flow nicely and fun.
I would hire Julie for any and all photography needs going forward. I can’t say it enough, she was beyond fantastic!
Julie was great! She was very friendly, personable and professional. Made an immediate effort to learn everyone's name in our party of 12 which made the shoot much more personal ...
- excellent customer service. As a mom, she inherently understood the short attention span of small children and was sensitive to that while shooting our family photos with 6 little ones. It was also refreshing that she came in with a plan for poses and specific locations at the site we selected which made the shoot quick and efficient. Highly recommended and we would definitely use her again in the future!

At the wedding, she went above and beyond to capture every angle of our day and gave us so many photos that we cherish. She was clear with communication and timelines for photo delivery and worked with us to build a wedding day schedule that has both time for pictures and time for partying with our guests. I’ve recommended her to all of my friends who are getting married!

Julie was truly the MVP of our hastily put together microceremony, and my partner and I consider it a blessing that we could work with Julie to document every moment of the preciou...
s day.
Her work is beautifully candid and of incredible emotional depth. I could tell that Julie not only is a "wedding person" through and through (love how she positively radiated with enthusiasm while we were going over all the logistic details), but also has a deeply emphathic personality and endeavors to capture the unique journey represented by each ceremony.
Julie's professionalism shone before, during, and after the ceremony. She proactively communicated at every stage of process to keep things streamlined and coordinated, and even took the extra trouble to arrive at the venue early to scout around and locate suitable spots for photoshoots.
During the ceremony, Julie blended seamlessly into the background while still making sure to deliver multiple intimate vignettes from different angles. Clear instructions were given during portrait sessions to help corral and pose everyone (she even helped adjust my veil, haha),* and, similarly, clear expectations were set and met for the end product, which was delivered punctually with ample updates throughout the editing period. My partner and I are extremely happy with how the photos turned out, and received effusive compliments on them from family and friends.
*Side note: While the language component wasn't a factor when I was looking for a photographer, if your families are bicultural, as was in our case -- I cannot emphasize enough how much easier your life could be made by opting for a photographer who's also bilingual. Thank you again for everything!

y MOH put some feelers out for a photographer for my date and we were amazed with the abundance of responses she had gotten! My fiancé and I went through many portfolios/instagrams but none of them stood out like Julie’s with the dearest still. I was immediately obsessed with her photography style and lighting - not to mention the people in her photos never look stiff or posed! After booking and working with Julie I understood just how she was able to capture the candid moments as well as she does. As someone who doesn’t always feel confident in front of the camera she effortlessly made me feel comfortable being the subject of her art. I can not tell you enough how badly your wedding needs Julie! Our families couldn’t stop talking about what a great job she did and that was before we even got the photos back! After distributing the photos to the family someone had said the pictures looked like they came from a fairytale and that’s the most accurate way to put it. We are so lucky to have these amazing photos to look back on for the rest of our lives. I will be booking the dearest still for any and all of my future photography needs and you should too!!
