Where do we begin with Julie? You can tell by her photos, she has such a different vibe and her style just stands out. As a couple we are not the most photogenic, but Julie made us comfortable, had us laughing and still made us look like models through her lenses! For any couple who are awkward and shy in front of the camera, we highly recommend working with Julie!!

After much research on who to choose for my photographer, I ended up choosing Julie. Her instagram presence, artistic style, and photo angles were what initially drawn me to her. I was pleasantly surprised at learning about her reasonable pricing too. Before the photoshoot, Sean and I worried that the photos won't we able to show our chemistry since we were too shy to pose in public. On photoshoot day, Julie and immediately made us feel comfortable making faces and poses in public. We enjoyed our session together and it was very easy to talk to Julie about what we wanted out of the shoot. The photos came out exactly as we asked for because Julie was flexible, open-minded, personable, and talented at what she does. Thank you! I'm excited to get the rest of the photos!

We met Julie at Sarah's wedding and was amazed by her professionalism and amazing photography skills. We only had 3-4 months to plan our wedding from start to finish. We were afraid that it was too short of a notice and had to compromise, but Julie was there to help us every step of the way. She helped choose the perfect sceneries and suggested the perfect poses. Julie is AMAZING!! We did an engagement session on Nantucket and cannot stop looking at the photos! We had never taken professional photos, so we thought we might’ve been awkward or not know what to do. No worries here! Julie had us laughing and smiling the whole entire session and told us exactly how to position and the rest just flowed! It is hard to put into words how Julie impacted our wedding day. We met Julie when she was photographing another wedding. Her 2nd photographer at our wedding was very personable and fit right in with the vibe of the wedding party and our families. Julie photographed our Boston City Hall elopement in December 2023. Julie was so amazing to work with!! From our first meeting over facetime, she was so easy to talk to and I connected with her instantly. She really listened to our priorities and our timeline and helped to customize her wedding packages to fit our plan for the day. She really helped us with the details of the timeline for the day. I first thought that we would be able to get the family photos done before the wedding since we didn't want to miss too much of the cocktail hour, but Julie knew that there wouldn't be enough time. Her and her second shooter worked so efficiently to get our family photos done quickly directly after the ceremony so we wouldn't miss too much time with our guests. She did a fantastic job of nicely directing family members to make sure that we captured every photo we wanted. She also did an amazing job of making us comfortable in front of the camera. While I was late to the venue on our wedding day, Julie was there early to get a feel for the location (since she hadn't shot there before) and to capture all of the details. She sent us so many sneak peak photos so quickly and they really captured our special day! The full gallery was ready about 2 months later and is organized so well. I can't stop looking through all of them - I can't even begin to pick favorites. They really bring us right back to that day. Her candid photos were beautiful - I can't get enough of them! I love seeing the joy and laughter on all our guests faces throughout the day. Because of her, I didn't regret not having a videographer. We didn't end up doing an engagement session due to weather ruining our original plan, but we can't wait to work with Julie in the future for some anniversary photos in the coming years! Julie was amazing! We were fortunate enough to find Julie through a family member and she did not disappoint. It was a true collaboration with her that felt seamless. Julie have been my photographer for every single important event( wedding , maternity shoot, family photos) throughout the years that it is safe to say she’s our go-to photographer for life! So, we just received the most incredible shots of our wedding day. We highly recommend Julie as your photographer and here’s why. We planed a very very last minute wedding and we were so lucky she was available on our wedding day. (You will notice how busy this girl is when you check her instagram) when I messaged her she was on a family vacation but took the time (since we were literally 3 weeks from the wedding) to let us know she can do it (which helped so much because I could stop searching, thank God!) and was just super honest about the pricing and actually helped customize based on our needs for the night. Secondly, my family’s Korean and yes, they all speak English but just the fact that she could communicate to both families in Korean and English helped 10000%. Julie does her homework, prepares for your day in advance, shows up early and is ready to GO! For a petite lady, man she’s got some energy! We loved her. Honestly the pictures look better than the wedding. Truly amazing!! My husband and I, our family and friends are so happy and blown away by the quality of photographs. Julie was BEYIND AMAZING! She relieved all my nerves from our first walkthrough at the venue. She has an amazing eye to use the natural lightening to get the most amazing pictures. Julie was great! She was very friendly, personable and professional. Made an immediate effort to learn everyone's name in our party of 12 which made the shoot much more personal - excellent customer service. As a mom, she inherently understood the short attention span of small children and was sensitive to that while shooting our family photos with 6 little ones. It was also refreshing that she came in with a plan for poses and specific locations at the site we selected which made the shoot quick and efficient. Julie was truly the MVP of our hastily put together microceremony, and my partner and I consider it a blessing that we could work with Julie to document every moment of the precious day. Her work is beautifully candid and of incredible emotional depth. I could tell that Julie not only is a "wedding person" through and through (love how she positively radiated with enthusiasm while we were going over all the logistic details), but also has a deeply emphathic personality and endeavors to capture the unique journey represented by each ceremony. Julie's professionalism shone before, during, and after the ceremony. She proactively communicated at every stage of process to keep things streamlined and coordinated, and even took the extra trouble to arrive at the venue early to scout around and locate suitable spots for photoshoots. During the ceremony, Julie blended seamlessly into the background while still making sure to deliver multiple intimate vignettes from different angles. Clear instructions were given during portrait sessions to help corral and pose everyone (she even helped adjust my veil, haha),* and, similarly, clear expectations were set and met for the end product, which was delivered punctually with ample updates throughout the editing period. My partner and I are extremely happy with how the photos turned out, and received effusive compliments on them from family and friends. *Side note: While the language component wasn't a factor when I was looking for a photographer, if your families are bicultural, as was in our case -- I cannot emphasize enough how much easier your life could be made by opting for a photographer who's also bilingual. When looking for a wedding photographer I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted. Thankfully my wedding planner - maid of honor is part of a local Facebook page for wedding vendors. My MOH put some feelers out for a photographer for my date and we were amazed with the abundance of responses she had gotten! My fiancé and I went through many portfolios/instagrams but none of them stood out like Julie’s with the dearest still. I was immediately obsessed with her photography style and lighting - not to mention the people in her photos never look stiff or posed! After booking and working with Julie I understood just how she was able to capture the candid moments as well as she does. As someone who doesn’t always feel confident in front of the camera she effortlessly made me feel comfortable being the subject of her art. We had an amazing experience with Julie in Vermont. She was punctual and very professional throughout our session. The weather was cold for our outdoor session in October but she was a trooper and kept everything together. She was very personable and lead us well as we weren’t sure where or how to pose. We were quite nervous with how our wedding photos were going to turn out but they ended up being great. Her communication was top notch as she quickly responded to any of my questions and concerns before and after our session.
