The DelRay Ballroom is a BEAUTIFUL venue for a wedding reception! Without decorations, it already looks fantastic and there is plenty of space! The only reason I'm giving it a 4 in...
stead of 5 is because there was some miscommunication with Stan and Amanda. Don't get me wrong, they are both very kind and great people, but when we first booked the venue, Stan made it seem like they were able to do a lot of things as part of the fee for booking, but when we talked to Amanda a couple months before the wedding to work out the details there seemed to be a lot of extra costs. They set up the guest tables for you, which is a huge help! When we asked if they could put tool and lights (provided by us) on the head table, at first they said that would be an extra $30 (which we didn't realize there would be an extra cost at all), but later I received an email saying if would be $120... so we decided to have our friends help set up any extra things.
They have 4 caterers you can you, otherwise it's an extra charge and they don't have a kitchen, so it's probably best if you go with their caterers that are familiar with the space- we chose Annette's Catering and she was AMAZING, we love her.
They also provide the DJ, which is great! We chose Nick Fitch, and he was awesome!
Overall we are so happy that we had our reception at the DelRay Ballroom!

t person (who didn't last and was let go), she was not easy to work with, but by the end we got another lady and she made sure all the issues were resolved and we had an amazing time :) She went above a beyond for us and our decorators. We also love working with all the staff there (except for the lady that was let go)!
For having our reception there, we did receive dance lessons and they helped us work around our hectic schedule! I can't be more happy with how everything came out for our reception!

We had our Reception at the DelRay. I loved the fact that they would set everything up and take everything down. They have a good list of catering partners at several price-points....
So that was nice. The DJ was also included. There seemed to be a bit of a disconnect with the DJ, but everything was still great even with a few minor hiccups.
The wedding I attended was very nice, with a big dance floor but I did hear that is was a little pricey
This ballroom is perfect and can accommodate over 300 people! Little decorating is needed because of the beautiful decor.
