I highly recommend Deoc Ensemble! We had them for cocktail hour and dinner music during our reception. Sean was very easy to work with and the ensemble was excellent. They play a variety of music, including a lot of pop songs which everyone really enjoyed! The music was absolutely beautiful.

There are not enough praises to sing about the Deoc Ensemble. As a wedding planner, I can be very picky with who I work with but the Deoc Ensemble is always a go to for me. Grace and Sean are kind, professional, and you can truly tell they love their job. So lucky I get to work beside them!

Had the DEOC Trio for my summer wedding and they were amazing! So many guests came up to me telling me they felt like they were in a movie. Sean and Grace were very professional and helpful leading up to the wedding. Couldn't recommend them enough!

We were so fortunate to have The Deoc Ensemble perform at our wedding! Over the years, we've heard them play at weddings, cocktail hours, and church performances, such as the annual Holy Season Concert at St. Mark, as well as following them on Facebook. The music they play is flawless, they are highly professional, and Grace and Sean run their business with the utmost integrity. Working with Deoc from the beginning of the process to the end was seamless. Their website is very easy to navigate and Grace responded to our questions in a very timely manner. We decided to have a violin and cello duet which was perfect for our venue. Choosing the repertoire was not as overwhelming as we feared. Grace helped us choose the perfect songs, even hiring a musician to arrange a song just for our ceremony. The flexibility of the musicians was outstanding. They played an extra long prelude as we were waiting for late guests to arrive. Also, the air conditioning was not working well, and they were in a fairly tight space, but the players had the most wonderful disposition throughout the entire ceremony, while playing so beautifully. We highly recommend the Deoc Ensemble and would hire them again for a special event.

After hearing DEOC play at another wedding, they were my fiancée's only 'must book' vendor. They were absolutely phenomenal throughout the planning process. Grace was timely, kind, and truly wanted to make our wedding reflect our vision through music. Their repertoire is vast and they even transposed some of our favorite and most meaningful songs so that they could be used in our ceremony. They have YouTube videos that let you listen to the songs before choosing them, which was SO helpful. Everything was beautiful with their touch to my ceremony and I would recommend them without any hesitation!

The Deoc Ensemble are not only talented and versatile musicians, but true event professionals who can adapt to fit the goals and needs of the event. The Indy airport has hired them twice in 2022 and plan to do so again in 2023. The first time we booked them, we were looking for some last-minute live music for guests during a particularly busy early morning in the terminal. Grace and the Deoc Ensemble team quickly coordinated a set list that would appeal to a broad audience. Despite the short notice, they exhibited professionalism, attention to detail, and creativity. We hired them again to play soundtracks and film scores for a movie-themed event. The event took place post-security requiring some complicated screening protocol. These security procedures can intimidate or frustrate some musicians but the Deoc Ensemble took it in stride. Cannot say enough positive things about Grace and the Deoc Ensemble team!

DEOC was so kind in comping their services for our annual Gala. They not only offered complimentary services without being prompted, but they also stepped in last minute to start playing earlier than we had originally discussed with no complaints! Our guests loved the added element and ambience they created and brought to our event, and we loved working with them.

What a phenomenal vendor to work with! Going into our wedding, we knew that were were going to have a short ceremony; so, we wanted to add in some extra details that would make it extra special and Deoc Ensemble was it. The trio was extremely professional and timely. We allowed them to pick whatever classical songs they felt fit the vibe of the wedding as guest found their seats. Everyone raved about how great the trio sounded. What made it extra special is that the trio played a requested song that was not on their song list. It turned out beautiful. The ensemble played both the ceremony as well as a cocktail hour, and our guests were still talking about them the next day! We loved having the DEOC Ensemble play at our May 2019 wedding in Indy at the Scottish Rite. Our wedding included a pre-wedding and post-wedding cocktail hour that created a little more complex wedding timeline. However, Grace was excited, responsive, and flexible. She worked to accommodate our unique schedule. The group was ontime, played beautifully and were professional. I would highly recommend this group for any event!

Upfront: I love being able to work with people directly over email, and my communication with Grace was 100% that, and it was wonderful. Grace was able to provide information on different instrument options, duets vs trios, their repertoires, etc. and we were able to do it all in the same email thread, which made it much more organized for me! Grace was super helpful when it came to song selections, and because of her, I think that we had a pretty awesome lineup of songs for the ceremony! I ended up hiring a duet (cello + violin) for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Everyone was dressed exactly as you'd want for a wedding, on time, basically just everything you'd hope for. Definitely recommend!

We booked the Deoc Ensemble for our wedding ceremony at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Indianapolis. They play beautifully and are an absolute pleasure to work with--very responsive to any requests and questions you may have. The church has a specific list of songs that they were allowed to play and this was no problem for the planning process, as they were able to provide a comprehensive list of songs they had played at our ceremony venue. No complaints, highly recommended!

If you are considering hiring live music for you wedding or event you must use The Deoc Ensemble! We were not planning on having live music at our wedding. But after meeting Grace and her team at a vendor event and seeing how excited they were about our wishes to have non-traditional music at our ceremony, we knew we needed to book them. Grace was so amazing to work with. Even through her process of moving houses, she was attentive and stayed in contact with us to make sure we were completely happy with the music choices providing us with a very large and diverse selection of musical offerings. As my husband and I had been together almost 12 years before getting married, I walked down the isle to a fitting "A Thousand Years" and it was so beautifully done. And walking away as husband and wife to "You Make My Dreams Come True" couldn't have been any more perfect. My husband and I received so many comments from our guests that our music was so on point for our Upscale Music Festival themed wedding and it would not have been possible without Grace and her amazing team!! If you have not booked them yet, DO IT NOW you will not regret it!
