The Depot Main Venues

Located in New Prague, MN, The Depot is an elegant wedding venue that also welcomes rehearsal dinners and pre-wedding showers. A historic building, its brick exterior and tin ceilings add an air of industrial chic to get-togethers. This property specializes in intimate gatherings of 150 guests or fewer. Owners Jan Sirek-Hrabe, Debbie Menden, Bob Hrabe, and Tom Wurzberger carefully carried out a loving restoration of the Depot, which dates back to 1894. Originally, it served the community as a general store. It has also been a saloon and, in 1920, a bowling alley was added. The original wooden floors are still featured throughout, alongside exposed brick walls and elegant crystal chandeliers. They were inspired to own and transform this space after celebrating so many of their own milestones here. They hope to help you create as many joyful memories in this building as they have had. The Depot offers to-be-weds a versatile space to design and customize to their heart's content. Comfortable sofas and seats are scattered throughout the building, encouraging guests to relax and catch up with one another. Your caterers can take advantage of the prep kitchen, while they put the finishing touches to their dishes. You can also bring food or drinks in from home, for a low-key approach. The cozy kitchenette also features a large island to set out food and beverages. You and your guests can avail of the free WiFi throughout this building and share the festivities with online friends that couldn't make it to the celebration.
