The Dewdroppers

Based in Idaho Falls, ID, The Dewdroppers is a live wedding band that brings jazz twists to popular songs. Led by vocalist Katie Engstrom, this mellow trio delights in uplifting special events with their smooth, soulful sounds. Their repertoire is a dynamic mix of top 40 covers and golden oldies, from Billie Holiday to Billie Eilish. The band promises to deliver a memorable soundtrack that will set the tone for a romantic wedding atmosphere. Alongside Katie's sweet-sounding vocal range, The Dewdroppers also features the soothing melodies of guitarist Freddy Gildersleeve and bassist Alex Holloway. Though often performing as a trio, the band can be expanded to include additional musicians including drums and horns, upon request only. The Dewdroppers offer entertainment packages that include a 2-3 hour set and a complimentary song request. The band is happy to perform original pieces and can cover various genres, including blues, Latin, country, R&B, swing, and more. Wedding couples can bring the trio's laid-back energy to any stage of their wedding day, from the ceremony to the reception.
