The Diamond Shop

The diamond shop helped my fiancé create a one of a kind ring for our engagement. They were so wonderful with their customer service that we didn’t think to go anywhere else but them when it came time to get my wedding band. They were so patient and accommodating when it came time to pick out my wedding ring, because I wanted to look at everything. They were also mindful of our budget. They had ideas and suggestions that were helpful. Additionally, they took the time to explain how to care for the rings that were chosen. I highly recommend them. Everyone we encountered there were very professional and friendly.

We got my engagement ring here last October and it was such a joy working with them. I wanted to pick out my exact ring - after all you're going to be wearing it forever and my fiancé has very different jewelry taste than mine. We looked several other places in town (where you just get passed from salesperson to salesperson in the same day) before stumbling on The Diamond Shop in Clayton. First of all their storefront is so cute, when you shop there you know you're supporting local small business, and it just feels so classic St. Louis. Todd was the first one to wait on us - I showed him a pic of what I wanted and they had that exact setting. I couldn't decide if I wanted bigger or smaller stones in the setting so he ordered sample settings in various sizes from that designer. Over a month we came in multiple times to compare the settings until we got the exact right one. When it came to picking the center diamond, Todd was so helpful in educating us on the Cs, showing us how to look for flaws with an eyepiece, comparing stones side by side. He ordered multiple diamonds in various sizes/clarities and different price points (always discreet in showing my fiancé the price so I didn't see). He would go outside in the natural light with the stones so we could compare them. I mean, he was patient for many cumulative hours to make sure we were completely happy. Not to mention the ring was later appraised for WAY more than my fiancé paid. I ended up with the MOST perfect ring I've ever seen and 6 months into our engagement I still get compliments on it daily. I HIGHLY recommend this shop and Todd - the best customer service experience around, great value, and we have such great memories from this phase of our relationship thanks to the Diamond Shop!

The Diamond Shop is where my husband purchased my engagement ring, after being recommended my his best friend (my best friend's now husband). This shop has great pieces and wonderful service. We went back to order wedding bands, and they graciously re-set the diamonds from my mother's anniversary band into a modern band for me that I love. They also re-sized and repaired her wedding set, so I could wear it as my something old and can continue to wear it daily. I have nothing but great things to say!
