The Dirty Cookie

I’m sad to say that I would not recommend the Dirty Cookie for your wedding. I don’t think the company is operationally prepared to support such important and large events yet. We ordered 175 regular cookie shots and 12 vegan cookie shots for our wedding. While the initial ordering process was a breeze...the rest was extremely disappointing. 2 days before the event I realized that they never emailed me a shipping confirmation or tracking numbers for the cookies. When I tried to call them I went to voicemail. I then emailed, Facebook messaged, and sent a DM on Instagram before finally receiving a response on Instagram 4 hours later. My IG message led to someone texting me a photo of the shipping receipts reassuring me that everything was fine...it wasn’t. I had the cookies shipped to my coordinator and went forward with the rest of my week. On my wedding day I showed up at the event and was informed that while the 175 regular shots arrived, the vegan shots did not. I have a dairy allergy and, as the bride, I was unable to eat the dessert at my own wedding. My coordinator attempted to contact the company throughout the day and, again, was never able to get through. When I returned from my honeymoon I was able to get in touch and while they apologized, the only compensation I got was a refund for 12 cookies and complimentary gift basket. I’m giving 2 stars because the regular cookies were a hit with our guests. While I would recommend using them for smaller events, I do not think they are prepared to logistically support weddings yet. Nothing is worth the added stress they gave me the week and day of my wedding. Hopefully they can get there soon!
