We can’t say enough good things about Don and Moon. Their attention to detail, communication, and coordination with our vendor team was impressive. They are genuinely great people ...
with the best vibes, and you can tell that they love what they do. They were great at reading the room and adapting the music to what kept our guests on the dance floor. It was full the entire evening. DJs/MCs are so critical to wedding day operations. Don was excellent with his announcements and keeping everything on schedule. We didn’t need to spell out every song we wanted. We gave them a playlist of the music that we like, and they ran with and nailed the set. If you have the budget to do the live music, we highly recommend it. We did live music for cocktail hour and then DJ during the reception and our guests loved it! The live music and set list was amazing! It was a great balance and made each part of the wedding day unique. We are incredibly grateful for their support leading up to and on our wedding day and recommend to all. 10/10.
Don & Moon were amazing to work with throughout the entire process of planning our wedding and they made the wedding itself so magical. We received several compliments on the weddi...
ng music they selected and the live band during cocktail hour. They were so professional and kind and kept the entire day running smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone for their wedding day!
Don and Moon are superb DJs and masters of ceremony. We hired them for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception of our wedding, and not only was the music selection wonderful, bu...
t they were a joy to work with. Their live set for cocktail hour was polished and clean, and we worked with them ahead of time to allow for a family member of ours to play a few songs along with them as a special guest. It made our day that much more special/personal for us to have our family involved, and it meant the world to us that Don and Moon were willing to work to accommodate it even though they had never done anything like that before! The vibes were so great during the live set, a friend of ours was even inspired to start an unofficial dance floor! Continuing on to the reception, the music was excellent. Don and Moon did a great job of listening to our preferences and requests while maintaining a joyful and energetic vibe for the wide range of age groups at our wedding. They provided helpful guidance when it came to song/genre suggestions, our first dance, our parent dances, and more - we really felt like they knew our taste well by the day-of and certainly did it justice. On top of music management, they managed the live audio for our ceremony and speeches during the reception, and did a great job. They managed tons of equipment with ease and every speech came through loud and clear.
Don and Moon helped to foster an environment ripe with high energy, fun, and dancing. The dance floor was non-stop for the entire 2.5 hours we had it open. In all the fun of the dance floor, I do think a few announcements were missing (ex: asked for our guest book to be announced, along with our shuttles - and I don’t think that happened) which was not ideal, but worth it nonetheless! Don and Moon also didn’t play any slow dances at our wedding - we were totally fine with that because the energy was there and we were loving the vibe, but if you want slower songs, be sure to put those on your must play list!
Overall, would highly highly recommend these two for any event that needs music and energy. They rock!!

ubts or concerns with song choices, adding in suggestions for things I hadn't thought of, keeping me on track with special song selections and making me feel confident that the guests would be happy with the choices.
They know their job and do it well, so well that I should listened to their suggestion on the placement of the photobooth. The guests loved the photobooth and they had the best props, but I had it placed in the bar area, and they suggested it be under the reception tent. They obviously knew better on how to keep the guests on the dance floor, so I highly recommend them, and I would also recommend you listen to them. They are the Masters of Ceremony for a reason.
They set up for the ceremony and reception seamlessly and were professional and courteous to everyone they were in contact with. I had guests that commented after the wedding how well they kept the ceremony and reception flowing and kept things clear and organized. My wedding coordinators couldn't say enough wonderful things about this duo.
We couldn't be more pleased with the services they provided and would highly recommend them for your event.

illed every single one! It was so important to me that we had a fun and active dancefloor, and they delivered! My guests had such a fun time. They were also extremely accomodating and friendly to my cousins who wanted to play live music for our ceremony and needed to plug in to their sound system and have a sound check. As a musician myself who plays a lot of weddings, I truly appreciated their flexibility and professionalism. They were so easy to work with, and they made planning the music stress free! I'd recommend them to anyone - book them now!

oon are professional, communicative, calm, and very talented – their ability to read the room kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night! We elected to have Don play live guitar music for our ceremony, which was such a beautiful touch. We loved that they provided that option – they are truly full-service! We may be biased, but of all the weddings we’ve been to, we truly think that Don & Moon are the best around. Thank you again for all you did to make our day wonderful!

ely responsive throughout the entire process and made me feel comfortable that our day would run smoothly. The online planning tool made it easy to add songs we would like to hear during dinner or the reception, first dances and the do not play list. We added a photo booth at the last minute and I’m so glad we did. I showed Don an example of the “glam” photobooth that I was looking for and they were able to deliver! Don was so helpful day of keeping us informed and on the scheduled timeline. We had a few unique requests that he was more than happy to assist with. I can’t recommend the DJ Duo enough for couples getting married!

es throughout the wedding planning process and answered emails and calls very quickly. They seemed to really want to get to know us as a couple and understand the vibe we were going for at our wedding. Don and Moon were a calm presence during a chaotic but wonderful day. At our wedding one of the guests said “DJ Duo was at the wedding I went to last week also and they were the best DJs ever!” Don and Moon did a great job playing the songs we requested and had a good sense of feeling the crowd out to know what songs work best. We got compliments on our music for weeks following the wedding. We highly, highly recommend booking them!

The photobooth they use is also so much fun! They kept covid in mind with using new paper props for each event. They even included an album to use as our guestbook.
I HIGHLY recommend these DJs!
We hired DJ Duo for our wedding and we can't say enough good things about them! They played acoustic for our ceremony and cocktail hour and even learned 3 new songs at our request!...
They were quick to respond throughout the planning process and kept the night running smoothly and on schedule! I would definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for live music along with a DJ!
Don and Moon were extremely accommodating and attentive with us when we had to move our original date. Professional, detail oriented and great at what they do!

I honestly can't say enough good things about Don and Moon. Tp provide some context, my husband and I were a couple that was affected by the pandemic. Our original plan was to get ...
married in SC at the end of October, but due to the circumstances, we decided to cancel those plans in June and get married closer to home. We stumbled upon our venue, Crispin Hill, and made the leap of faith (I think we were fully delusional at this point) to re-plan another wedding for the end of September. So long story short, we had 3 months to plan an entire wedding. Given the lack of time, we stuck to the venue's preferred vendor list, and we are so glad we did because that introduced us to The DJ Duo.
Right away we were impressed and relieved. They were UNBELIEVABLY affordable, genuinely kind, and clearly so experienced. Their platform was more organized than our previous DJs and they were so attentive to all of our questions and requests. They didn't flinch when they saw that we had essentially mapped out a playlist for the entire evening; instead, they saw our taste and overall vibe and gave us AMAZING recommendations. We had the outmost confidence in their ability to set the tone we wanted and keep the wedding moving and we were not disappointed. I have been to several weddings where the DJ was either too involved or not involved enough--Don and Moon have mastered the perfect balance. They stuck to the playlist and all of the nit-picky requests I made; they interacted with the guests but weren't obnoxious; they were fun AND made everything run smoothly to the point where guests made several comments to us throughout the wedding.
Our day could not have gone as wonderfully without The DJ Duo. I highly recommend them and would choose them again in a heartbeat.
