Before the wedding, we thought by the end maybe less than a third of our wedding guests would stay until the very end of the reception, but I would say over 2/3rds stayed until the very end because it was so fun. He checked in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was going okay and if we needed him to switch gears. He was very flexible, and it had been easy to swap certain things around last minute. Lots of love, Kiana and Luke <3

I also didn't have a song for my bouquet dedication to my mom and he was able to find one in less than a minute. Everything was perfect! He even timed the father daughter and mother son dance, so it just didn't keep playing (because lets be honest that is boring to guest). His website makes everything a breeze as well!! I feel like a lot of songs we requested were not played, but I honestly can't remember with such a busy day. 10/10 recommend!

y going and got everyone in the mood to party (which is exactly what we wanted). He knew how to keep everyone engaged and even had some on the fly fun games to do while he stalled for us until we had to take sunset photos. He took every suggestion played and overall is a very great guy to have join the fun! He did everything we have planned for his part and more and I will say if you go with him (which you should if you have a wedding coming up) you will not be disappointed in the slightest.
P.S. If you are not familiar with how things go with your DJ, remember to give them a plate of whatever you are catering because they are there longer than most your guests, advise all guests to treat him with respect if you see them being too rowdy, and buy the man a drink!

o fill in all of the details we wanted him to know. Mike’s music knowledge is fantastic, and he played all of the songs we requested with great quality. Mike knew how to get the party started and kept the energy going throughout the whole night! He had the crowd engaged the entire reception and he incorporated fun games throughout the night. (Some of which made us $ for our honeymoon fund!!) He also made sure we were able to get a picture with every table after our dinner. We are still receiving compliments months later on his energy and engaging crowd work from our reception. Mike’s wife, Melissa, brought her photo booth (Magic Moment) which was also a big hit with our guests! We highly recommend their services! You can put in specific songs for your entrance, Father/daughter, Mother/groom, special, etc. You can add trivia about yourselves to have him MC and even add a timeline of events for him. And even better? You could link up a spotify playlist for ease if you don't want to list out your chosen songs on his website.
He played only Six songs out of the fifty on his website that we requested. Six (6). It was a disappointment. He did play other typical songs that you would hear at weddings so we went with the flow. But it wasn't what we were expecting to hear since we put so much work into selecting our songs on his website.

Mike is 100% the DJ you want to hire for your wedding or other event! Everyone kept asking me "Where did you find your DJ? He's so fun!!" A couple things I loved working with Mike....
He has an easy to use and navigate website to put all your music requests in, wedding timeline, games, etc. We didn't want to do a garter or bouquet toss, so instead of those he had a couple fun games we played such as running to each table to take pictures with our guests and musical chairs! Mostly, I loved that I didn't have to worry about him being there on time or setting up. We were able to enjoy our ceremony and reception without a worry! It was flawless! Couldn't recommend him more.

We had our hearts set on having both dancing AND karaoke at our reception, and Mike made it happen! We were a little worried that having the dancing and karaoke could be an awkward flow. Mike handled it perfectly. If the dance floor was dying down, he would bring someone up for karaoke and vice versa. It was truly impressive how he integrated the two together so effortlessly. ou will need with mics and hook-ups for the officiant and even live music (which we used for the ceremony). His music knowledge is fantastic, and he knows how to keep the party going throughout the night. I have gotten so many comments from guests on how fun the night was and how the dance floor was never empty. If you love having a good time, you NEED Mike at your event. On top of the music, he provides great entertainment for the guests. During the reception we played a few games, one being a scavenger hunt/musical chairs which was notably exciting. It involved guests from the crowd and wedding party frantically running around the venue for items to bring back to the front. The whole venue was involved in the game and got everyone on the edge of their seat with excitement. Those 20 minutes were so much fun to watch, and something I will never forget. Mike brought the entire event together and made it so special. He is the best around and I will use him and suggest him for every event needing a DJ. I truly cannot recommend him enough.

We then met with Mike before the wedding to review all the details he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and super easy to work with. He did a great job with all intros and announcements on the day of the wedding and played all of songs we wanted. He has an energetic and engaging personality and really had the crowd on their feet and involved all night. He made sure everything was taken care of and made our night stress-free. We also used his photo-booth service, which was amazing and highly recommended; it was a huge hit with our guests! Overall, if we could give him 12/10 stars, we would! Don’t hesitate to use The DJ Music Man for your wedding, you won’t regret it.
