Hired him for a wedding. 10/10 DJ. Great at pumping up the crowd. Very flexible with our needs. Played a great selection of music and had us play few games. All around, a great guy.

Mike was great to work with for our wedding and kept the dance floor packed all night long!

Mike has a great website for his services where you can put songs you definitely want to have played, songs you would like to have played, and songs you don't want to have played. You can put in specific songs for your entrance, Father/daughter, Mother/groom, special, etc. You can add trivia about yourselves to have him MC and even add a timeline of events for him. And even better? You could link up a spotify playlist for ease if you don't want to list out your chosen songs on his website. He played only Six songs out of the fifty on his website that we requested. Six (6). It was a disappointment. He did play other typical songs that you would hear at weddings so we went with the flow. But it wasn't what we were expecting to hear since we put so much work into selecting our songs on his website.

I could not be happier with our experience working with Mike. Everything went very smoothly he was easy to communicate with and we had a blast. Our guest were very entertained and enjoyed him as well. We had several guest go out of their way to tell us how enjoyable he was. I also really appreciate the games he played making sure we were able to get a picture with every table of guest and keeping everyone laughing. He did a wonderful job reading our crowd and going with the flow. I would recommend him to everyone who asks.

Mike is 100% the DJ you want to hire for your wedding or other event! Everyone kept asking me "Where did you find your DJ? He's so fun!!" A couple things I loved working with Mike. He has an easy to use and navigate website to put all your music requests in, wedding timeline, games, etc. We didn't want to do a garter or bouquet toss, so instead of those he had a couple fun games we played such as running to each table to take pictures with our guests and musical chairs! Mostly, I loved that I didn't have to worry about him being there on time or setting up. We were able to enjoy our ceremony and reception without a worry! It was flawless! Couldn't recommend him more.

Mike is a top notch DJ! I really can’t thank him enough for putting up with my wedding guest’s requests for different genres of music, finding specific songs, and dealing with my mom😂 I don’t think you’ll be able to find a dj like him. Instead of just dismissing tables to eat, he came up with questions about my husband and I to dismiss. My guests loved that! He also had me and my husband run around to each table and take a picture with the whole table. I will be using those as our thank you’s! I would say he’s very personable and easy to get along with. We could not have been happier with the services from Mike for our wedding. Mike was in charge of both music for the ceremony and reception. He created such a fun atmosphere. I had guests coming up to me all night saying how much they enjoyed our DJ, and how entertaining the fun little things he added in were. Mike was very flexible and listened to our desires. We had our hearts set on having both dancing AND karaoke at our reception, and Mike made it happen! We were a little worried that having the dancing and karaoke could be an awkward flow. Mike handled it perfectly. If the dance floor was dying down, he would bring someone up for karaoke and vice versa. It was truly impressive how he integrated the two together so effortlessly. He made the night special and incredibly fun. I would 100% recommend The DJ Music Man for any wedding or event!

We hired Mike to host our small wedding reception, it was a blast! Mike was very attentive to requests and was willing to answer any and all questions we had about the day. We were unsure on some songs to choose and he picked up on the vibe and kept the party going! The event went so smoothly and we are very appreciative. If you would like a fun reception he is your guy.

Mike was a blast to have DJ our wedding, He was immensely helpful in the behind the scenes details and was easy going and very invested in not only making our day great, but making sure everyone was having fun. We left most of the preferred music up to his discretion, and he did not disappoint! Mike is the best DJ out there for weddings. I have been to my fair share of weddings and Mike is by far the most talented and entertaining guy out there. He has all the equipment you will need with mics and hook-ups for the officiant and even live music (which we used for the ceremony). His music knowledge is fantastic, and he knows how to keep the party going throughout the night. I have gotten so many comments from guests on how fun the night was and how the dance floor was never empty. If you love having a good time, you NEED Mike at your event. On top of the music, he provides great entertainment for the guests. During the reception we played a few games, one being a scavenger hunt/musical chairs which was notably exciting. It involved guests from the crowd and wedding party frantically running around the venue for items to bring back to the front. The whole venue was involved in the game and got everyone on the edge of their seat with excitement. Those 20 minutes were so much fun to watch, and something I will never forget. Mike brought the entire event together and made it so special. He is the best around and I will use him and suggest him for every event needing a DJ. I truly cannot recommend him enough.

We recently used Mike Rodriguez at The DJ Music Man for our wedding and can't recommend him enough! We found The DJ Music Man through The Knot, and after one phone conversation with him, we knew immediately we wanted Mike to handle our DJ duties for our special day. The DJ Music Man has an easy-to-use website to select which music you want for your wedding, and a detailed questionnaire on many of the specifics. We then met with Mike before the wedding to review all the details he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and super easy to work with. He did a great job with all intros and announcements on the day of the wedding and played all of songs we wanted. He has an energetic and engaging personality and really had the crowd on their feet and involved all night. He made sure everything was taken care of and made our night stress-free. We also used his photo-booth service, which was amazing and highly recommended; it was a huge hit with our guests! Overall, if we could give him 12/10 stars, we would! Don’t hesitate to use The DJ Music Man for your wedding, you won’t regret it.

Mike did a great job at our wedding! He got the guest involved with a fun scavenger hunt while we were away taking pictures. Got them to answers questions about us to be able to go get dinner. He did a fabulous and we loved ever second with him. They played good music durning down time of people just talking. He was such a nice and caring person as well. Not to mention was wonderful to communicate with. They got back to us right away. Wonderful, wonderful job. ❤️ 5 out of 5 star. We totally would use him again!!!!

Mike did a great job for our wedding. There was good communication beforehand and adaptation the day of. We wanted to move our first dance up a little and he was able to shift things well. The music he chose kept our guests engaged the entire time, and he was awesome about following through with song requests. I would definitely recommend him for anyone who has a big group of really fun people they are celebrating with!

Mike was the DJ for our wedding and he did a phenomenal job! He especially does a great job reading the crowd to determine which songs will keep people on the dance floor. He is very personable and definitely a DJ that your guests will enjoy and be entertained by. Mike even got on the dance floor himself to teach us the steps to a line dance song! Their communication was great throughout the process and there is a portal for you to put song requests into different categories (you can have "must play" songs as well as "do not play" songs). We truly could not have asked for a better DJ and I would recommend The DJ Music Man to anyone!

The DJ Music Man did a great job for our wedding. He followed all of our wishes and made sure to clarify everything with us as a couple. The photo booth option was a big hit at our reception. Everyone from young to old loved it. His pricing is affordable and communication by email was great through the entire planning process. Mike did an INCREDIBLE job for our wedding. He was extremely accommodating and knew exactly how to work our guests. He worked the crowd while releasing tables for food, had a bunch of awesome games to play, and all while playing great music that fit our preferred style. We even had a small crisis and he managed to distract the crowd and keep everyone having fun while we fixed the issue. He played just the right music to keep people having fun and dancing all night. Mike is the best dj out there! I gave him a time line for the day and then only saw him a few times but that was because he was busy setting up and keeping things going from the ceremony to the reception. Our ceremony and reception were in two different locations and he didn’t seem to have any difficulty with that! He kept the party going and even had a fun game to keep the guests entertained. He gladly took music requests from the guests. He has been the dj at multiple of our friends weddings and remembers all of us. Highly recommend Mike!! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Mike was the absolute best DJ for our special day! He was incredibly flexible with the timeline we had initially given him, especially when our party bus arrived late to the reception and we had to push most things back. He made us feel very at ease and made the night incredibly fun and stress free. I especially loved the fun games he played throughout the night to dismiss people from tables, an alternative to the dollar dance, etc. The variety and quality of music he played was incredible too, it kept our dance floor busy all night long with guests of all ages! Overall, it was one the best decisions to have Mike as our DJ and we highly recommend him!

Mike was absolutely amazing! I loved the ability to choose the songs I wanted to have played and the ability to have songs not played as well. Mike was on time, professional, and interacted with the crowd well! As others have stated he had our guests play this kind of musical chairs game where party goers had to provide a group of volunteers a random item. There was a nice prize at the end for the winner. I have heard nothing but good things about how other people viewed our reception, and have Mike to thank for an amazing evening.

WOW! Where do I even begin? Mike was incredible and everything we were hoping for in a DJ! He was fun, upbeat, and funny. He got things moving right away and people did not stop having a blast the entire night. The dance floor was packed and everyone loved him! There was such a great variety of music. He even helped us raise over $1,000 for our honeymoon! I highly recommend the unlimited package because then you get to decide when to call it a night. Mike ended the reception for us with a beautiful slow song that my new husband and I danced away to while I took everything in and bawled my eyes out. We hired Mike for our elementary school dance. He was outstanding with the kids (grades K-6) and their families.
