Mother of the Bride reviewing. Positives: the venue was beautiful, the water views were gorgeous and the food was good. We were able to adjust and decorate how we wanted. Clean up was easy and we were able to pick up everything the day after the wedding. Pricing was reasonable. Negatives: planning was a nightmare. The coordinator wouldn't return texts or emails for weeks. We were planning from out of state, so it made good communication even more important. We paid extra for apps during the cocktail hour, but it was very minimal. Service during the event was inconsistent - not removing dirty dishes in a timely manner but then removing dishes before guests were finished. After the couple cut the cake, the mother of the Bride had to start cutting the rest of the cake because the servers weren't around. The bartender was HORRENDOUS - he was rude and completely nasty to the guests (including the mother of the Bride) and only used less than half of the monogram cups that the bride had provided (but then they weren't given back to the couple - we had to "find" them behind the bar). Many guests and the bridal party complained about the bartender...he was THAT bad. The coordinator said we could come "any time" the next day for our things, but then was not answering calls or texts for access to the venue. All in all, we had a beautiful reception - but the planning process could have been much better and the servers and the bartender's attitude need to be addressed.

Great Place!

Our pictures turned out gorgeous! The huge tiki deck with boat docks and palm trees in the background make for beautiful pictures and a fun outdoor atmosphere. The food was fabulous, the staff was very helpful and overall, it was easy and all inclusive. We had the ceremony and the after pary/reception on the tiki deck and dinner and cake inside the glass-walled restaurant that over lookes the tiki deck and lake... Beautiful! Highly recommended if you are looking for an outdoor alternative to a beach wedding :)
