STAY AWAY!!!! We Hired her in April 2023 after having a tasting with her and also being reassured she could do our intricate wedding cake for our fairytale wedding. Now I had had no contact with her regarding our cake before the wedding other than to let her know that our head count was lower so we didnt need such a big cake. Now day before the wedding the venue had NOT heard from her at all regarding her arrival time or anything in regards to the cake being delivered. She arrived to my venue with the cake. She brought a cake that looked NOTHING like what we asked for. It looked like a two year old made it. She also left a mess for the venue to clean up. The chef could see when she was assembling the cake that there was something wrong with it. When she left she left the cake in the fridge. When the chef went to take the cake out of the fridge it was leaning into itself and they could see it was fallng apart. When this happened the noticed HAIR on the fondant, It was put together and supported with BROKEN WOOD DOWELS which they found little pieces of in the cake, the chef and pastry chef at my venue noticed that the cake was RAW. So that was why it was not being supported and falling. So My wedding decorator stepped up and went to get us another wedding cake to serve to our guest and that we could cut. This cake was part of our fairytale wedding and had alot of importance to us that we cant get back. She did give us our money back but didnt argue when confronted about the cake she brought to our venue.

La’Shawne was able to match frosting to the bride’s grandparents cake topper from 66 years ago perfectly! The cake shooter were a huge hit with our guests! The desserts were perfect!

First of all let me say, when I first met La'Shawne, I was about two months away from my wedding because my former decorator fell through, she took me under her wing. Immediately, she got right on what I wanted my cake designs to be, gave me recommendations on the flavor of cake that she specializes in that would win my guests over. She was AWESOME! I had an issue with the venue allow us to have a dessert table, she stepped in and provided the paperwork proving her licensure and assured the venue that her products were of the upmost quality and they were. That dessert table was demolished in minutes at my wedding. The Doll Face Chef products and customer service speaks for themselves and having La'Shawne in your corner is a 100% everything you need to make sure that your cake and desserts are on point! On the day of my wedding, I did not have to follow behind The Doll Face Chef, they were already doing their job. They even collaborated with my decorator to make everything seamless. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Doll Face Chef for ANY event, from graduations, baby showers, and most of all weddings.
