The dresser bridal shop is so clean and beautiful and all the attendants are so friendly! I was able to find two contestants for my final pick of my wedding dress right away! The ladies did such a great job picking out wedding dresses that made me feel beautiful and we're exactly what I was looking for!
I purchased my wedding dress from the dresser and I had the best experience! They had so many gowns at a variety of price points. I felt so comfortable from start to finish and my consultant Jill did a great job with having my vision come to life! I wanted a cap sleeve and the alterations department did a great job creating the sleeve from scratch! I had multiple appointments to get the sleeves right and I had amazing results! I absolutely loved my dress and I received so many compliments! I highly recommend the dresser to purchase your wedding gown.
Such a lovely shop with the nicest women who work here! All so friendly and supportive while you try on and come for fittings. I loved my experience buying a dress here I wish I could do it all again!
The Dresser was the 4th bridal store I went to in the OC area and by far the best experience. The store is so cute and a great place to take photos of you saying YES to the dress! The girl who helped me was great to work with, pulled beautiful styles, and didn't rush us. Not only did I get my Essence of Australia dress here, but I also got my veil and jewelry set as well! The seamstress was awesome to work with during my fittings and perfectly added on cap sleeves to my dress that I requested.
I had an appointment with Meagan at The Dresser Bridal and loved working with her. I just felt like she understood what I was looking for. I didn't find THE one in my first appointment, but after seeing my dress at another salon, I decided to see if The Dresser carried it. Not only did they offer to order it for me (they didn't carry the exact style in-store), they even offered me a lower price. I got in to see Meagan again last December. She fitted me and helped me find the perfect accessories. Even through COVID, The Dresser was extremely communicative and got my dress in before it was due in the store. My mom went to pick up the dress for me, and the owner even got pictures with her carrying the dress out so she could text me. Thank you! I loved working with you guys.
I wouldn’t reccomend coming here. If anything come here to try on the dress and then buy the dress elsewhere. The owner Anna does not care about the brides which makes zero sense. She is rude, cheap and inconsiderate. I was lied to about my gown then ended up coming wrong and she didn’t return any money for the hassle and brushed me off. Please do not support this business. My year long journey trying to get a dress wasn’t worth it. I should have gone somewhere else but I was already committed. The girls here are nice but they have a high turnover so they don’t know what they are doing.
Every time you walk into this salon you are greeted by THE most delicious scent (seriously)! The dresses are all beautiful and there's bound to be one that you love. Had one run in with one rude girl at the front. It was very brief, but she really was not in a good mood/very nice at all, just a terrible attitude. Other than this one random employee, everyone and everything was perfect!
I found my dream dress here! First place and first dress I loved. Ended up going back to get it! They have a really nice selection and the alterations team is awesome!
The Dresser Bridal made purchasing the wedding dress of my dreams an absolute breeze. The consultant actually listened to what I was looking for and pulled samples similar to what I had envisioned. She did not try to pressure me into anything and had a positive attitude. I purchased at Stella York, the dress of my dreams and all of the measurements they took were correct, my dress arrived quickly, and they were easy to contact and schedule appointments with. I also went back to have my dress altered which fit beautifully for my wedding day. Their seamstress is an expert at every detail and made my dress look as if it were made to fit my body exactly. I highly recommend the Dresser Bridal because they have excellent customer service and a wide selection of designers to choose from.
The Dresser is the best place ever to look for a wedding dress! From the moment I walked into my first appointment, I felt so comfortable and at ease. They make the hunt easy and personalize the search to your needs. I found my dress here and let me tell you...everyone could not stop gushing over my dress. I'm sad I can't wear it every day because it was just so beautiful and fit like a glove. Their staff is professional, helpful, and super nice. If you know a bride who is looking for her perfect dress, come to The Dresser!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! This was what I thought would be the perfect place to buy my bridal gown. Instead it was embarrassing, humiliating and nothing but the worst customer service I ever experienced at any bridal store. The selection is SO limited. The stylist told me that my style of wedding gowns where out of style and that every bride was WAAYYY over here and I was WAAYYY over there with being out of style. I was hoping to find a mermaid dress with lace..... anyways after the most awkward fitting I have ever had we decided to leave. I'm always super pleasant and wish I really wasn't with this store and stylist today. As I walked out of the store the woman says "good luck kiddo"..... I don't recommend this horrible place for any bride to be. You won't experience any privacy since you try on your gowns in front of many other bridal groups
The dresser was the second shop I went in and I wished it was the only one! We had gotten a recommendation from one of my mom’s coworker who’s daughter had gotten her dress from there. From the first moment we went it to my last appointment picking up my dress they were all so amazing! I showed Amanda (who is beyond amazing by the way!) a few pictures of what I was thinking, she grabbed a few dresses and then let me decide which one to try first and lo and behold the first one I picked was the dress!! The dress came in a month before I expected it to and they were so accommodating making appointments! Marianne was wonderful with the alterations and made sure that my corset back along with my strapless top would not fall down on my big day and boy did it not! The dress was absolutely stunning and I’m so happy with everyone at the dresser! You can’t put a price on a great experience and wonderful consultants! Thank you all so Much! I can’t wait to get my dress preserved! :)
My florist recommended The Dresser to me, and I am so glad she did! They ended up being my first and only bridal salon! I had such a great experience with them!
They were all super nice and helpful from the very beginning and in each appointment thereafter. Stephanie was amazing and made sure to pull dresses that were similar to the pictures I showed her and made me feel comfortable by answering any questions I had. Once I picked a dress, they set up my next appointment for alterations with Marianne, who is just amazing at what she does- my dress turned out perfect!! I was more in love with it than I thought I would be! I am so happy that I found The Dresser, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience in finding their perfect dress!
They were amazing! I went in twice and they were excellent both times. The first time I went in I tried on my dress but wanted to change a few things and wasn’t sure. When I went back I simply asked if they could make those alterations and they said yes! They had a great selection and were mindful of my budget!
Jessica helped me pick out my gown, and I couldn't have been happier. She was knowledgable and I completely trusted her opinion. Marianne, the owner, is equally amazing and kind. They do all their own alterations, which are extremely reasonable, and they really care about their brides. I'm glad I found The Dresser to purchase my dress from!!
Check them out! Amazing selection and incredible staff. I am so glad I picked my dress out here. Their alterations and in-house and Mariane has been doing it forever! They've been in business over 30 years. Excellent, beautiful store in the heart of Downtown Fullerton. I highly recommend looking here for your dress. I ended up getting an extremely fair-priced Maggie Sottero gown.
Wedding - June 2017
The Dresser was the fifth and final shop I visited in three days while searching for my wedding dress while my mom was in town. Before The Dresser, I had tried on about 30 dresses, some of which I liked, but none that I loved. Every dress up until then, there was at least one thing I wanted to change about the design or style. At The Dresser, I worked with Amanda and she was great at listening to what I was interested in trying on, as well as what I knew at that point that I did not like. The second dress Amanda pulled for me was the one that I said YES to. There was nothing I wanted to be different about it and it was the one that made my mom teary-eyed.
After making the decision, it was easy working with The Dresser to schedule appointments for fittings and alterations. They are open later in the evenings on Tues and Thurs, which was perfect for my work schedule.
Marianne is a talented and knowledgeable seamstress. The lace and scallop pattern on my dress was very intricate and she hemmed it beautifully. She also added boning in the bodice to help support me within the soft dress structure. After my wedding, I returned my dress to The Dresser for minimal repairs to the hem, as well as their cleaning and preservation service.
Overall, the staff at The Dresser is professional, friendly, and will do their absolute best to help you find your dream wedding dress.
After trying on wedding dresses 3 times in my hometown I purchased my gown from The Dresser Bridal! This store had so many options in my price range and my consultant (Amanda) was such a joy to work with. She was able to find the dress of my dreams! If you are out of town or are in the area I would so suggest making a trip to this amazing store, because it did not disappoint!
The Dresser was the first and only store I shopped at. They had a large selection of designers and had every dress I wanted to try on. The ladies at the Dresser were so helpful, friendly, and patient with me. After trying a handful of dresses I finally found the one for me! I also found the perfect veil while shopping there.
I received my dress in a timely manner. When it came to altering the dress, I was asking for a lot from them, but that was no problem for them. They were so patient with my requests and made my dress fit amazing!! I wore that dress feeling beautiful and happy and I thank the ladies at the Dresser for helping me find my dream dress.
I love the dress I got here. It was just over my price range but had exactly everything I was looking for. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend stopping in to look around, but also get an appointment set up so you can have guaranteed one on one time with someone since it seems like they can get a little busy sometimes. The fittings went great and weren't expensive either!
I'd like to start off by saying that I myself am not much of a "shopper". I'm the type of person that only goes to the mall for items that need to be replaced, or if I'm going to a big event. So I was a bit worried that my personality of, "go in, get what I need, get out quickly" may clash with finding the perfect wedding dress. That was not the case ! I was paired with Stephanie who was absolutely awesome. She's a total rock star. She really took the time to listen to the few details I felt I wanted for my dress, she found dresses within my budget, and asked if there was wiggle room incase. The parking was a little weird, so I would suggest getting there early to find parking. Inside was very clean, organized, and bright. They also can add straps to strapless dresses ;) which was a big plus for me since I did not want strapless. I found my dress that day, and it was in my budget ( actually a little under ). There are some great places to eat walking distance from there. If I could make any suggestion, it would be to go try on dresses before making an appointment here. If you have an idea of what you want, style, shape, color, material, etc. It makes the process so easy and flawless. Plus, when you're paired with a really great staff like The Dresser Bridal it makes it that much more fun.
The Dressor is so nice until you have any issue with the dress, then they have attitudes and do not help you take care of the problems!!!! We ordered a dress in November & it came in with the some of the beads in gold when they are all supposed to be silver, they re ordered it and here we are 7 months later and no dress!!!! You call to see what the issue is and you get the run around and a attitude. Do my buy from The Dressor, you need a someone who truly cares and will be helpful in these situations. A wedding dress is too important to have it screwed up and costs too much $$$ $3k. I have never yet had the owner call me or help with this situation. Cheryl Barbeau
Before my appointment at The Dresser, I had visited David's Bridal and Jaclyn's Bridal (both in Costa Mesa) and not only were they unfriendly and unhelpful, they didn't listen to what I said I was looking for. They seemed like they had better things to do than help me find my dress for my big day, and it made me feel unimportant and not valued as a customer. I was happy to take my business to The Dresser--my only wish is that I had gone there first so I didn't have the other unpleasant and embarrassing experiences.
The moment we walked in to The Dresser, we were greeted and they gave me some paperwork asking my style, budget, etc. (David's Bridal and Jaclyn's Bridal acted surprised I was there even though I made an appointment). I then sat down with Tori, my consultant, and she asked me questions about what I was looking for, and asked if I had any photos of ideas I liked. She immediately knew of some dresses and gathered them for me while I browsed some others with my mom.
She tied up/buttoned up/zipped up each dress after I put them on and I walked out to show my mom. All of the dresses she chose for me could have worked--they were all beautiful and what I was looking for. It was great to have options like that, especially as a plus-size woman. I narrowed it down to a dress I can't stop thinking about (and I bought it months ago!). Tori helped me choose a veil to match and we bought everything that day.
I had an amazing experience here and I felt valued and not rushed at all. I highly recommend the shop--they have tons of gorgeous dresses and a whole room of plus-size dresses. The shop itself is adorable too!
I had an amazing experience at the Dresser! The staff is very helpful and nice! They were very thoughtful during my appointment and brought me dresses that were exactly what I was looking for while being very considerate of my budget. I found the dress of my dreams here!
They are also the only place I would ever take my dress for alterations! On the day of my wedding it fit perfectly! I was very impressed with how perfect my bustle looked! I was a little sad about having to bustle my dress but when I see the back in photos it looks just as beautiful bustled as it did with the train! You couldn't even tell that the dress didn't just come that way!
Everything about The Dresser is fantastic and I recommend them to everyone I know!
I got my wedding dress, hair piece, and bridesmaids dresses from The Dresser. Everybody here is very nice and helpful. They recently stopped carrying bridesmaids dresses which I think was a good idea because for the price they ended up being pretty poor quality. The reason I'm not giving The Dresser 5 stars is because at the end of the day, I wasn't thrilled with my alterations that I had done there. I had many appointments (4-5) to get alterations done on my seemingly simple dress, mainly to fix some bunching/folding that was happening at the torso of my strapless, fitted lace gown and to shorten it. When I arrived for my last appointment, the week before my wedding, I was told that my alterations hadn't been completed because there was a computer glitch that erased my appointment. This being said, I was pretty upset and we were told that if we waited an hour they could finish the alterations. Even though my weekend was jam packed with wedding details to work on, I told them that I could come back the next day because I didn't want them to rush through my alterations, but they told me that an hour was plenty of time to do what I needed done. We waited, and when we returned and I tried on my dress again, the bunching/folding was still present in my torso. She made more alterations and I picked up my dress a week later just in time for my wedding. I asked to try it on one more time before I left even though it was packaged up so nicely. When I tried it on the bunching/folding appeared to have been fixed so I was relieved. I should have walked around in it though because then I would have realized that the fabric would ride up my hips and bunch at the waist just as it did my entire wedding night. It's been a few months and I've received my professional wedding pictures back, and the fabric is bunched at my waist in almost every single picture which is so disappointing because it really takes away from the beautiful nature of the lace. I'm pretty frustrated because I feel like this issue should have been addressed in my alterations appointment being that no bride just stands still for her whole wedding. I feel like some additional boning was necessary, especially considering there was only two pieces of boning in my whole strapless dress. Overall, I liked the selection of dresses and accessories at The Dresser, but I'm just pretty disappointed in the end product of my alterations, especially considering how much time and money was spent in alterations.
The entire staff at The Dresser were so helpful from the very start. From finding the perfect dress to the alterations, I couldn't have found a better bridal salon!
I absolutely loved my dress, veil, and bridesmaid dresses. I knew the moment that I tried on this dress at the Dresser that this was exactly what I had been searching for. My bridesmaids found their dresses on the same day that I found mine and knew it was the PERFECT dress before even trying on any others. Everyone at the Dresser was professional, timely, extremely nice, and made everything so simple during my wedding planning. Through alterations the fit of my dress was better than anything I could have imagined. I would recommend anyone that I know to at least go to the Dresser to try on a few dresses. I had gone to a few places previously and nothing compared to the Dresser. The dresses are extremely high quality while still being affordable. For all the vendors that I used for my wedding, the Dresser was at the top of the list because they exceeded my expectations.
I had a wonderful experience at The Dresser! Amanda was so patient and helpful - she was able to pick more than one dress that I loved. The whole team really contributed to the fun and relaxing atmosphere in the shop. My friend recommended The Dresser to me and I will definitely be recommending the shop to other brides!
The team at The Dresser Bridal was so much fun to work with. Everything came along great, dress was ordered, altered, and ready in time. I got so many compliments on my unique dress from their store. Thank you ladies!
I found my dress on Pinterest which lead me to The Dresser Bridal. Amazing Amanda made it easy for me to say yes to the dress! She was knowledgeable, friendly and took her time to ensure I was a satisfied customer. My dress was simple and elegant and Amanda suggested to make the beading on my veil match the dress. Marianne is also an expert seamstress and altered the dress to make it look as if it was meant for me.
I found my perfect dress near my home in San Francisco. When I was down in Orange County last September, my grandmother and I went dress shopping and went to The Dresser because I called and they had the dress I wanted. It wasn't the most fabulous experience- the sales associates don't allow you to walk around the salon and look at dresses yourself- they ask what you want and bring dresses to you. I may have found something I liked EVEN more! I didn't get a good feel for any dresses that they had because of that. The sales girls were very unenthused and honestly not very nice. Anyways- I was an easy sale because I knew what I wanted. Paid in full, and it arrived to The Dresser 5 months later. No bells and whistles, nothing- they don't allow you to bring champagne to the salon to celebrate with friends and family either. Just a very blah experience that did not get me very excited about buying the dress. It was a stunning dress and I was thrilled with my choice, but since it was Maggie Sottero, I could have purchased it anywhere and should have. Go elsewhere.
I love this bridal salon!! It's a beautiful place and the staff is very friendly! I liked that they remembered my name every time I came in as well. It felt more personal. I also liked their online appointment form and reminder emails. I purchased my wedding gown and veil here, and I thought it was awesome that they had signs for you to hold up for pictures that said. "I said yes at the dresser". It's great because every girl wants who just purchased their gown wants to share their excitement! I only had to do minor alterations when the dress came in. They have in house alterations which was really nice. I worked with Marianne. She is super talented! By the time we were done with alterations, my dress was perfect! And now that the wedding is over, I am having them preserve my dress as well. I definitely trust them with taking care of my dress. I would recommend this salon to anyone!
I had been to many Bridal Salon's when I was looking for my dress, and The Dresser was the final stop. I fell in love with the Maggie Sottero gown instantly. Everyone at The Dresser made it a very pleasant experience, there was no pressure at all, like other places I had been. Marianne the Owner does the alterations and makes the final touches on the dress perfection. I miss the staff and their friendly demeanor. They have a wide variety of beautiful gowns and I would highly recommend them hands down. Thanks for making my dress, the dress of my dreams!
Everyone at dresser bridal was so helpful and great to work with. Amanda was my consultant and she helped me find a dress in my very short time frame, because of moving and all the other things I had going on I only had ONE day to shop and she showed me all the styles I had been hoping to try on. And then when I had a panic attack because I changed my mind, after I ordered my dress, that I wanted a different silhouette they made sure that I the dress I ordered could be altered to fit what I wanted. In the end I got exactly the dress I wanted and they made everything perfect. On the day of my wedding I felt beautiful! They are amazing and did everything to make me happy.
I got my wedding dress at the Dresser during a Stella York trunk show (which is what brought me in). The staff was really nice, helpful, and encouraging. I found the dress of my dreams there, and got to meet the designer, who was amazing and gushed with me about how awesome the dress was. I had a great experience with fittings too, they have some late hours which are accommodating during the week to miss the weekend crowds. It was horrifying to watch the seamstress cut my dress with a pair of scissors, but she did a good job, was thorough and understanding of my need for perfection; and the bustles lasted my entire wedding day. As an extremely heavy dress, that took some strong sewing! I haven't brought it in for cleaning yet, but they gave me a coupon to bring it back for after wedding cleaning, because they were so helpful and took care of me and my dress, I plan to bring it there for the final cleaning for storage. Loved my experience and my dress. Was pricy. But worth it.
I bought my dress here and couldn't be happier! First of all, ask for Amanda. She was AMAZING! She pulled dresses I wanted plus some that went with the theme of my wedding. She was genuinely interested in my vision and really listened to what I was looking for. She knew my dress before I did! I asked for a few custom things and she called the designers' reps to find a way to get them. She was also great with privacy while changing. The dressing rooms have curtains so she lets you undress then hands you the gowns ready to be stepped in. Once you are in an covered, she comes in and cinches them up. Not all places let you have privacy so I really appreciated that.
The salon is beautiful and the dresses are displayed in an organized and easy to view way. The only negative I found was that all brides try on gowns using the same mirror. It is big but the room can get crowded with entourages. Advice: they have a rule of only bringing three people for a reason. It makes the experience less chaotic for all. I highly recommend The Dresser and on the day of my wedding, I couldn't have been happier with my choice; both groom and dress ;)
I came to Dresser Bridal after I had a terrible experience with another bridal shop and a friend recommended them.
Best experience hands down! My fiance and I moved our wedding from 2015 to 7 weeks away due to my father's illness rapidly progressing. That didn't phase the Dresser Bridal team!!!
Tory listened to exactly what I wanted and helped me find the dress of my dreams! She even had dresses ready when I got there based on what I told her on the phone.
And with the wedding only 7 weeks away, Maryanne speedily and precisely altered my dress to perfection! If you are a bride looking for a shop that actually cares about your happiness and not just a sale, then you need to visit the ladies of the Dresser Bridal.
I bought my dress here only 8 weeks before my wedding. Marianne did an amazing job modifying my dress to make it more modest. She is an outstanding seamstress. All of the staff worked hard to help me find my dress and to make my wedding day incredible. This is the only store I went to...no need to shop around! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
This place is FANTASTIC!! The service is one of a kind. I came a couple of times and they were able to help me find my vision. I wanted a vintage inspired dress and they helped me to find exactly what I envisioned. All of the ladies were extremely helpful. Maryann is the head seamstress and she did a great job tailoring my dress. In addition, this shop did a great job with my bridesmaids. Honestly I can't rave enough about this place. When I want another couture dress for another occasion, I will be heading here first!
The Dresser was very helpful in finding my dress it was in my price range and what I wanted.
I can’t say enough great things about the Dresser! One of my good friends got her dress there a year ago and I was with her through the entire process and they were great, so when it was my turn this year to “say yes to the dress” I knew I only wanted to go to one place – The Dresser! The consultants were all great through the entire process… When I went in for my initial dress finding appointment the consultant suggested I try on one dress of each type since it was my first time trying on dresses and you just never know what styles might surprise you! So my bridesmaids and I picked a bunch out, and the consultant picked out the last two she had me try on based on what I told her my style is and what my wedding was going to be like… Her pick blew our picks out of the water! She knew exactly what would look good with my body type and the feel of our wedding (and of course it was soooo fun to try on the giant princess dress and the sexy drop back dress), but I found “the dress” in that single appointment. I would absolutely recommend The Dresser for your bridal needs!
I traveled from Texas to visit family in CA, hoping I would find "a dress". Instead I found a dress that with the guidance and help of the owner/seamstress turned into "THE dress".
I tried on this beautiful dress but had some doubts and couldn't quite put my finger on it. The owner then walked in when I was wearing it and suggested that she could alter dress to take some of the ruffle off and add more lace. I hesitated but agreed for her to make these major changes. WOW! I am so glad I trusted her because she totally made this a dress I couldn't be more excited to wear! I wish I could post a before and after picture because it didn't even look the same when she was done, it looked even better! The designer's sales rep happened to be there during the final fitting and she couldn't even recognize the dress I was wearing! Once she realized which one it was, she took a picture and sent it to the designer!
Because I was from Texas, I had to travel back for the alterations. She helped me out so much and worked with my schedule and did 3 alterations in 3 days just so I could bring it back with me to Texas. She double wrapped everything and into the overhead compartment it went!
The staff was so helpful, as well, and knew exactly what to bring out to me and try on.
I highly recommend everyone, from all states, make the travel and come to this salon! You will NOT be disappointed :)
Working with Amanda to find my dress was so much fun! she is great and really knows what she is doing! The alterations were perfect and they took the time to make sure I was happy with everything. I LOVED working with them and am so happy I found my dress here. I didn't want to take my dress off, it was so perfect. Everyone LOVED it!
This bridal boutique was only my second place of looking. It is small but has beautiful dresses!!! I worked with Amanda, and she was great. Make sure you make an appointment. I told Amanda my ideas of what I wanted in a dress and she pulled exactly what I asked for and she also asked if she could pull some of what she thought would look good on me. The dresses that I thought I wanted was not what I wanted. I fell in love with the 4th dress I tried on that she pulled and thought we compliment my curvy figure. The dress and veil were breathtaking. Amanda was great the owner herself who also does the tailoring did not rub me the right way but everything worked out and the dress the I fell in love with was PERFECT!!!
the dresser was my second salon that i went trying on wedding Gownsand i ended up purchansing my dress.
everyone was polite and friendly and really cared about me finding my dress.
prices range from $700 to $2000
The Dresser is amazing. Very professional and always friendly. Marianne and her staff are just wonderful to work with. Make you feel so special everytime you are in there. Loved all changes she was able to assit me with as well. Perfect location to find that perfect dress.
All of the gals at the Dresser were wonderful. When I went to get my dress they heard what I had to say and pulled several dresses that all fit my criteria. When I decided on my dress, it was not perfect. I wanted to add a strap, and they helped me visualize it and got the extra fabric and applique that would be required. They altered my dress perfectly so that on my big day it fit like a glove.
From the time i booked the appointment, to the time I picked up my dress the day before my wedding, the ladies of The Dresser were amazing. When arriving for my appointment, I had a list of dresses that I was interested in, per their suggestion, and Sara pulled the dresses they had in stock. She informed me that not all the dresses I wanted to try on were at their location, but not only did she let me pull from their collection of designers (they had such a huge selection!!), but she pulled dresses that were similar in style to ones they didnt have. Sara helped me in and out of 6-8 different dresses and was incredibly patient and attentive to my needs and concerns. I found "the one" after the 3rd dress, acknowledged it, but said I still wanted to try on the rest just in case and Sara didnt make me feel like it was a hassle and said it wasnt a problem, it was my wedding and she wanted to make sure that i was happy and found the perfect dress. Finally, I decided on the 3rd dress, after trying it on for the 2nd time, and asked if it was ok if i came back in an hour to try it on again, for the 3rd time, so my mom could see it (i only brought my sis bc i didnt think i would really find a dress that day). I thought it was a long shot bc they were busy, but Sara asked and said it wouldnt be a problem!
Every fitting i went to after that was fun and they really made me feel special. Everyone said my dressed looked amazing and I'm so grateful The Dresser took the time and had the patience to deal with an indecisive bride. Thank you!!
I bought my wedding dress as well as my bridesmaid dresses at The Dresser. I actually bought my dress at their annual Day of Dreams Sale and I absolutely love love love my wedding dress. Their service was great during my alterations and during the purchase of my dress. However they aren't as attentive when you are purchasing bridesmaid dresses - we may have gone in on a busy day in the store though. But my dress was altered perfectly, my bridesmaid dresses came in on time and all of us looked beautiful on my wedding day, so I'm happy!!
I think that The Dresser is the perfect place for a bride to get her wedding dress. I got both my wedding gown and my bridesmaids gowns from The Dresser.
All the wedding gowns that they carry are beautiful. My favorite were all the gorgeous lace gowns. They are so detailed and look like they are such high quality, expensive gowns. The actual price of these gowns, however, never get into a ridiculously expensive price range.
The ladies that work here are all super friendly and helpful. They definitely make you feel like you are there to find the perfect dress and they wont stop looking until you find it.
The only problem I had while dealing with The Dresser is when my bridesmaids dresses came in they were the wrong color. Even though that was very stressful for me they reassured me that they would send the dresses back and get the company that made them to make new dresses in the correct color and I would have them in time for the wedding. They made a stressful situation a lot less stressful than it could have been.
Overall I think that the quality of the dresses, especially for the prices they sell them at, plus the wonderful customer service makes The Dresser a great place to look for your wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses.
I had an overwhelmingly great experience at The Dresser. From the very beginning, Amanda was so helpful and sweet. I made my first appointment on a Monday afternoon and I had the entire place to myself. Amanda did not show me a single dress out of my budget, which I greatly appreciated. The quality of the dresses was far better than I thought it would be. They made me feel special, not like I was just another bride in a wedding gown factory. I found the perfect wedding dress that I absolutely loved. It fit my personality and feel of the wedding. It really was the wedding dress of my dreams. The seamstress and receptionist are a bit rough around the edges, but can easily be won over with a smile. A bit of advice, make sure you make an appointment and try to go during the week if at all possible and you will have an absolutely great experience at The Dresser.
Everyone here was so helpful and nice. They really new the designers. I found my perfect dress. Thanks Dresser Bridal
I bought my dress here and was SO happy to find "The Dress." The girl who helped find my dress was an absolute gem and truly listened to my vision. The seamstress is AMAZING and made my dress fit like a glove.
I loved my dress and the place i got it from!! the staff was friendly, listened to me and suggested the perfect dress!! they are genuine people not looking for a sale but to make the bride happy. they have a huge assortment and were not pushy at all! they have all the little things to go with you dress and they have an amazing assortment of rehearsal dinner dresses, mother's dresses and bridesmaids dresses!!! I loved this place and would recommend anyone to go there even for a formal dress non wedding related!
Oh, the dresser. What a wonderful place you are - not only was I able to find my dream dress at this boutique in just ONE visit, I was also able to find the perfect accessory (sash) and the perfect veil here.
Prior to coming to the dresser, I had been to a couple other places to try on dresses. I had tried on at least 20 other dresses before giving us. Everything I tried on everywhere else was "nice" and "pretty" but none of them spoke to me. I decided then it was time to make an appointment with a boutique kind of store and I was hopeful that I'd find my dress here - and I did! The minute I arrived with my mom and friends, our bridal consultant Caitlin tried her best to pull together dresses that were in my budget.. I started to try them on, one by one, and sure enough, when I put on my 4th dress, I instantly KNEW it was my dress. I said yes to a beautiful Maggie Sottero Kendra dress in Alabaster and I couldn't be happier. I decided to purchase the dress right then and there and put down my deposit. The bridal consultant also gave me a veil for free and she said I could pick any veil - I ended up choosing a beautiful floor length veil :)
A few months later, they called to inform me that my dress had arrived :) Sure enough, I went in and the dress was in immaculate condition and I couldn't be happier.
Overall, I had a great buying experience and would recommend this place to any brides looking to make a purchase of their wedding gown.
The Dresser was one of 10 dress shops i visited when trying to find "the dress". I had already found the dress at another location, however I had not wanted to make a decision. The dresser has a nice set up, they allow you to try on your dress in a location with almost 360 mirrors, however they have poor lighting, they also have extremely poor service. Some of the assitants are fantastic! Others are mediocre, which is not the experience you want when you are wedding dress shopping.
The worst part was receiving the dress, once they got your money it felt like they did not care! I would not recoommend purchasing from this location.
I went to The Dresser and tried on dresses with a fantastic young lady named Dianne. Not too sure if she still works there because during the rest of the process I never saw her :( She picked out a dress that I didn't really like but I kept an open mind and the dress ended up stumping me. I loved it but it was nothing like anything I had seen before or what I thought I wanted. Told her we would think about it and then let it sit for a couple months when I could get the whole family out and my Maid of Honor. I went back to some of the dresses I thought I loved and found myself comparing it to the dress she picked out for me. I went back, cried and knew this was it! I ended up not going through The Dresser for my bridesmaid dresses because after I had purchased my dress from them they started to not treat me as well...It's not that they are super mean they're just not very nice. I would expect people in the wedding industry to be cheerful and understanding that this is your first time getting married and you don't know everything about the business. Thank goodness that the seamstress there is fabulous though (which was part of the reason I wanted to buy from them) After her the dress was beautiful and fit like a glove. The only thing I wish was different were the attitudes of the people who work there. They just weren't very personable and came off rather abrasive.
Beautiful shop with wide selection of dresses. The staff was very nice and helpful. They asked the right questions, listed and brought dresses that I asked for and made suggestions as well based on my preferences. Found my dress within an hour and it was one of the ones the sales associate suggested! The only thing I didn't like was the room where you look at yourself in the dress - with multiple brides and one large mirror it's a bit difficult.
I was completely in love with the David Tutera for Mon Cherie bridal dress that I found here. And the day I found it I was helped by a wonderful saleswoman. But the day I returned to pick up my dress was a completely different experience. It felt very cold and business-like. Not the warm and friendly vibe I got the first time I visited. It was almost like they already had my money so they didn't have to bother with the niceties. Plus they misquoted me on a price for a veil and made no apologies about the misunderstanding. I wisely chose to get my alterations done elsewhere. And I found a similar veil downtown at a 1/4 of the price & got compliments on it all night.
I loved my dress!
This was the second place I tried on wedding dresses and this was the place that I found my dress :) All of the dresses at this store are absolutely amazing! Sara was the sale associate that helped me with trying on and ordering my dress. She was so helpful and honest about how the dress would fit my body. The dress I got originally came with straps, but she made it possible to remove the straps and show me exactly what it would look like. The ordering process was easy and my dress came exactly when they said it would be there. The alterations were great and my dress came out perfect. I felt so beautiful (and comfortable) in my dress. Thanks to Sara at The Dresser!!!
I went to so many dress shops my head was spinning. When I walked into the Dresser I immediatley knew I was in the right place. They brought me options that were exactly what I asked for and were very mindful of my budget. They were nothing but professional and I couldnt be more happy with my experience.
I loved my visit to the Dresser. The shop is small but they have an amazing selection, something for every style. They let me browse on my own for a while, then one of the girls came to help me narrow down my options and find other dresses that fit my style. There was absolutely no pressure, and we never felt rushed. We were able to take our time and try on as many dresses as we wanted to, enjoying each one. As a result of all of this, I ended up finding my dress on the first visit. I could not be more thrilled. The price was amazing to boot! They really help to work within your budget and they never tried to push more expensive dresses. I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this shop to anyone.
I couldn't' have been happier with my experience at The Dresser. Everyone who works there is so nice, friendly and knowledgable and they helped me find my dream dress. My mom also purchased her mother of the bride dress from The Dresser and was so impressed at their customer service and how well they treated us. I refer anyone I know who is engaged to The Dresser to get their dress. They truly made my wedding dress experience perfect!
The gals at the Dresser are so helpful. After trying several other stores, I was glad to go to a place where the girls let me take my time & make a decision without hovering over me. I found my dress here and had a smooth process through ordering, fitting, and pressing the dress! The only negative part of my experience was that they girls didn't call me when my dress arrived. I finally called them 5 weeks before the wedding, and they then told me they had the dress. If you go with the Dresser, just keep checking on the status of your dress. :)
I bought my dress during a trunk show so my dress was one of a kind at a fraction of the price. I loved my dress and the service was great.
Everything went smoothly with my wedding dress; it was about $200 cheaper at the Dresser than I had seen at other bridal shops so that was great! My bridesmaid dresses were also $30 cheaper than I saw at other stores. The consultants are helpful and nice.
Everyone at The Dresser treats the brides with care! They are understanding and patient with the bride. They have a wide selection of beautiful dresses!
The only thing missing was the champagne. But everything else was wonderful. The personel were very attentive. I found the dress of my dreams. The sales rep asked me a lot of questions so that she could get an idea of what I wanted. She helped me into about 3 dresses and asked me more questions to make sure we were going the right direction. We stuck to my price range and found the dress of my dreams!
Excellent service. Was a pleasant experience
Loved my dress. I only shopped here and found the dress I was looking for. Perhaps I lucked out, but everything was perfect. Great assistance, decent price.
My entire experience at The Dresser was wonderful. Their selection of dresses was great. They did all alterations to my dress in house and did an excellent job. My dress turned out better than I could ever imagine.
I got my wedding dress from The Dresser. I had one custom made out of 2 dresses by the same designer. The girl that helped me with everything, Kaitlyn, was very sweet and very helpful. When I came in to try it for the first time after it was made I wasn't thrilled but she helped me get it to how I wanted it to look and she was very understanding. The other people who work there however are less than helpful and professional and give a lot of attitide it seems. Also, when I went in for alterations it seemed like they overcharged, like charging an additional $50 to steam the dress, which they had already done for free the first time. I got my bridesmaid dresses there also and when some of them came in the wrong size they would not alter them for free and some of my girls had to pay $50+ to get the to fit right.
I loved The Dresser. They had such a large and unique collection of wedding dresses. They were completely professional with my fittings, recommended the perfect veil to go with my gown and were not pushy at all. I was able to find my dress for $800, which I thought was a steal. I also loved the atmosphere! Elegant, but low key - you don't feel like you're in the middle of chaos. The woman in charge of alterations was also very nice and was honest because she recommended I have absolutely no alterations done. Love, love love!
So I loved their gown selection for their prices. I was on a tight budget and still found a gown I loooved here. My associate their was awesome, Tori was her name. She helped me so much!
But other than her the other girls arent super friendly. The part that I didnt like hte most is how they charge for alterations. The lady that does them always seems rushed and like she isnt worried about the details - which every bride is concerned about! Then when you ask for a hem and she hems it once, but its still too long (which is her fault, since she didnt hem it enough the first time), she double charges you to do it again. So what could be a cheap alteration turns into double and triple the price! I thought that was ridiculous. It wasnt my fault that she didnt measure it correctly the first time. I had to have the top of my gown taken in (it was strapless) and when she did it, it looks rushed and wrinkled and like it had been altered instead of like the gown I paid for. I asked her to redo it to make it look nicer and she charged again for that too-again, if shed taken her time the first time it wouldnt have been an issue.
Overall, their selection is awesome and their prices are great for what they have, but get alterations done somewhere else!
This is an amazing little dress shop. Not as large as others but they have a great selection for the size of the store. Most dresses are affordable and there is something in every style and price range. The staff is awesome- super nice and really want to find you something you will love. Check this place out!
my experience was rushed =/ but i got a great deal!
I tried on several dresses and picked my favorite. The Dresser informed me afterward that they would be unable to order that particular dress for me in time for my wedding. I was really into this dress so I asked to purchase the one I tried on that was many sizes too large and torn, thinking I would get a discount. NOPE, they wanted to charge me full price for the stained, torn, used one! I left sad, luckily I asked around and several other local wedding dress shops were happy to order me the dress and promised it more than a month in advance, which DID in fact happen. Mariposa got my dress in even earlier than expected. I order my belt and veil with The Dresser still because they had spent time helping me out with my dress. I picked up my veil a few weeks after they informed me it was in. When I got there, they made we wait for a long time and then finally came out with an old wrinkled bag. When I went to look at it the sales lady tried to stop me from taking it out of the package!! There was a tear in it, it was old looking and I paid more for a metal hair piece and this was plastic. It was obviously taken off the peg and used. She said she had ordered the wrong thing and will place another order for me, but I had to wait another 4 weeks for the new order to come in. This was disgusting that they tried to charge me for something completely different than what I ordered. And so tacky that they hoped I'd walk out of the store with a used one and not know it!!
Beautiful dresses! I ordered my dress, shoes and veil...everything was perfect!
Amazing!!! Loved all the ladies at The Dresser.
My dress and bridesmaids dresses all showed up on time, which I was happy about. My wedding dress ended up being way to long, which I believe I was partially to blame for that. I was not impressed with the service. I thought they were very rude & unorganized.
I loved working with the staff at The Dresser. They were very friendly and not pushy. They bent over backwards to accommodate fittings for me because I was no longer living in Souther California at the time. My dress was absolutely gorgeous and fit me perfectly! I would highly recommend using The Dresser to purchase your wedding dress - they are amazing!
Caitlin is the best! Thank you for putting up with me for over a year to find the perfect dress!!
From the day i went shopping for my wedding gown and set foot in the dresser, I could not have been more pleased with their dress selection and service. I was fortunate because I only wanted to try on the 5 dresses i had in mind. And they were patient as my mother and i went back and fourth on our opinions. I never once felt rushed. When it was time to bring back the MOH and Mother in Law and grandma to help make a decision, the consultants were helpful and patient while we all voiced our opinions. I never once felt pressured to make a decision or even rushed with my dress decision. Once i purchased my dress, all my fittings and alterations went smoothly and the whole staff was a delight to work with.
I couldn't believe how great the prices and service were! My dress was perfect and I had a wonderful shopping experience.
I purchased my wedding, reception, and bridal party gowns at The Dresser. The service was wonderful. My consultant's name was Toni and she was great! She assisted in all dress consultations and made everyone feel beautiful. Marianne the owner also takes care of alterations and she was a delight. Alterations was very affordable and timely. Marianne was able to have both my dresses done within a few days. The salon is beautiful and if you are looking to purchase a designer gown this is definitely the place to go.
Love, Love, Love. Gogeous gowns and affordable prices. The staff was so helpful in assisting me find "the one."
