The Drizzled Pear

From the first phone call to the wedding day, Rhonda Mitchell with The Drizzled Pear was wonderful to work with. Catering was one of the biggest components for my daughter's wedding and despite being long distance, Rhonda made me feel at ease through the entire process. I feel in love with her menu selections and wished we could have included more! She and her staff were very courteous, professional and timely during the reception. We selected 4 different appetizers (fantastic) and 3 stations (my favorite were the crab cakes!) for dinner with 140 guests. Her team assisted with cutting and serving cake as well. The overall flow of the evening went very well. Rhonda was recommended by The Cooper River Room and is familiar with their layout and kitchen prep area. I highly recommend!

I can't give enough praise for Rhonda and team!! Not only were the displays gorgeous and right on theme with the rest of our reception hall, but the food was DELICIOUS! Our guests could not get enough of that homemade fried chicken!! I have to say my favorite was was the mac and cheese bar and the prosciutto wrapped goat cheese stuffed shrimp--simply amazing!! On top of the wedding being perfect and delicious, I was blown away with the plates sent home with us! We had so much of the food that we barely got to eat at the reception so that we didn't miss a thing! The professionalism, attention to detail, and absolute deliciousness and quality of food makes Drizzled Pear, hands down, the best catering around!! Thank you so much for helping make our big day absolutely perfect!

Food was amazing. We had them cater our wedding. The sweet potato barbecue sliders are to die for. The shrimp and grits are amazing. The staff are professional and friendly. Love Rhonda, she is a great communicator and makes sure you are happy with everything.

I cannot say enough good things about our wedding caterer The Drizzled Pear! The owner, Rhonda, was personally involved in the creation of the menu and execution of the food! As the bride, I was in direct contact with her throughout the entire process. She took our personal taste and created the best food of our lives! From the moment we arrived at the venue, we were personally served the h'ordeuvres, had our own plates with our own personal preferences, and a huge surprise picnic basket at hotel at the end of the end night stocked with extra food and wine! She decorated her food stations to match our wedding aesthetic perfectly! The guests have been raving about the food and exceptional personable service! We had passed h'ordeuvres of shecrab soup shooters (BEST SHE CRAP SOUP EVER) with cornbread, chicken n waffle bites, & fried green tomatoes. Our dinner stations were chicken BBQ sliders with pickled onions with a side mixed green salad with champagne vinaigrette (with pears of course), pork carving station with Charleston red rice & collard greens, & Lowcountry shrimp 'n grits! I need her to open a restaurant because I NEED more of this food!! Thank you for everything and making all of our favorite food. I am so proud to have found such a wonderful small business in the wedding industry who worked with us as locals to have the wedding of our dreams!
