The grounds and barn gave the most gorgeous setting for our wedding! So many different areas for photo ops and the rustic barn was perfect for our reception. This venue was only $1...
,850 to rent with a $850 deposit which we got back after the wedding. You absolutely get more than what you're paying for! After planning and setting up I do wish there was help from the facility but then again that would make the price go up if they offered that. It's a must see if you're looking for that laid back, rustic romantic wedding.

weekend local farmers market. I met wonderful people, and saw the beautiful property, historic barn, overgrown gardens, and adorable farm animals, and I KNEW this is where I would get married. Janet, the museum coordinator was understanding, helpful, and very sweet to work with. Connecticut doesn't have many affordable rustic chic places to get married at, but this is one of them. It took a while to find it, and I'm glad I did. When we got married on September 28, It could not have been more perfect!
