The Edge in Long Island City, NY
So much more than just a wedding venue, The Edge is designed to bring loved ones together on a day they will remember forever. This stunning location offers panoramic rooftop views, a private outdoor courtyard, and the ability to accommodate special events of various scales and styles. You can choose from the Two-Story Studio, the Rooftop, the 20th Floor, or the Courtyard as the place you wish to play out your wedding scene.
Choose the One to Match your Vision
The Rooftop has space for more than 100 guests and provides an open-air setting for you and your closest family and friends to toast your love by moonlight. Alternatively, for a larger outdoor gathering, the Courtyard accommodates more than 225 people seated, while both venues are free for you to design and personalize to match your vision. As for an indoor wedding celebration at The Edge, the 20th Floor is ideal for an intimate gathering of approximately 50. It has a fully customizable layout and allows for complete privacy, just like the Two-Story Studio. The Studio has a capacity of more than 80 and is a modern, Instagram-worthy space designed to let love stories and romance blossom.

Loved this whole experience. The elevator whizzes up a 100 floors in seconds. The views were spectacular, there was atmosphere of childlike wonder. People seemed fascinated by the little bit of glass floor where they were having pictures taken,...
and some were afraid to step on it 😃. There were just the right number of helpful and pleasant attendants, and the bathrooms were convenient. The area around the building is beautiful. There is a park nearby called the High Line, where a freight train used to run in the old days. There is the subway station there now. And there's a paved area with benches out front, where we saw people sitting, eating their snacks or watching others marvel at the beautiful, wiggly circular glass building there. Reminded me of Dubai, with rows of sparkling glass buildings housing posh stores and offices. I like the vibe of the Hudson Yards area.

I had a lovely time visiting this place! It was a bit of a hazy morning but was definitely still worth it. The views are amazing, and it wasn’t too crowded. Right now for Black Friday, you can get 50% if you book online and use the code BLACKFR...
IDAY at checkout. The people at the desk were very kind helping me figure out how use it. There was alcohol and ice cream at the top. Also a cool clear panel that looks down. I would recommend going for sure.

The Edge is absolutely spectacular — I’ve never been on an observation deck quite like it. It’s so spacious and open, with glass walls all the way around that give you completely unobstructed views of New York. The feeling of being outdoors, wi...
th the wind and the height, is really something special.
The only downside for me was the loud music and the small stand selling champagne or tequila shots — it took away a bit from the majesty of the view. I understand it’s probably meant to appeal to a younger crowd, but I personally would’ve preferred a quieter atmosphere to take it all in.
Still, it’s an amazing experience overall, and absolutely worth visiting for the incredible views alone.

Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, offering breathtaking panoramic views of New York City from the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards. The unique, cantilevered design of the observation deck extends 80 feet out from the...
skyscraper, giving visitors the thrilling sensation of floating over the city. Its frameless, angled glass walls allow for unobstructed views and the chance to lean out over the urban landscape below.
The experience at Edge begins on Level 4 with a multimedia presentation that details the story of Hudson Yards before visitors are whisked up 100 stories in a 52-second elevator ride. Once on the main outdoor sky deck, thrill-seekers can walk over the a glass floor, which provides a dramatic, 1,100-foot view straight down to the street. Beyond the glass floor, the deck features Skyline Seats and an Eastern Point where guests can relax and take in the spectacular scenery, which includes the Empire State Building, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and the Hudson River.
For those seeking an even more extreme adventure, the City Climb allows participants to scale the outside of the skyscraper to its apex, an experience not for the faint of heart. More relaxed options include sipping champagne at the indoor/outdoor bar on the 100th floor or dining at the fine-dining restaurant Peak on the 101st floor. Combining innovative design with an incredible vantage point, Edge offers a truly unforgettable perspective on New York City.
