ng the kitchen, so we could watch the chefs at work - no hiding sloppiness or cutting corners or even the abrasiveness that many restaurants have. Everything was meticulously done, with care and creativity. We had: oyster, shrimp toast, tomato rice, garlic noodles, whole fish, and the ginger tofu ice cream. Each dish was one of the most unique preparations of the ingredient I've ever had (actually it inspired me for the week after to be more creative with my cooking). They literally stand over the fish as it's being cooked on the Japanese charcoal grill fanning it, and use tweezers to strategically place the tiny pepper slices on the shrimp toast. Even the ice cream dessert had multiple flavors and textures going on. The descriptions on the menu do not do justice to all the complexity contained in the dishes. The drink menu on the restaurant side of the house is different from the bar (even though you can order from the cocktail bar too) - and clearly selected to complement the food. We each had a cocktail and one glass of wine between us. This is definitely one of the best tiny-upscale-dining experiences in Nashville (akin to Catbird Seat, Bastion, Kase, etc).

We tried 1) Oysters , pretty amazing , probably the best I have had 2)Scallop , served as a single piece again delicious 3) Salad , very fresh greens , the dressing not to my taste but the others in my party enjoyed it. 4) Very unusual prawn toast with sugar cane foam 5) Garlic noodles , fat chewy and delicious 6) Tomato Rice , never had anything like it , crunchy and did not look like Rice , but tasted great 7) Rib Eye steak 14 oz cooked to perfection 8) Ginger Ice cream Had a Negroni and wine with our Dinner . This is a gem of a Restaurant and I would highly recommend a visit , the bar next door looked great as well , although will have to try it next time .

still nearly a month after (sorry…THAT YOU WEREN’T THERE TO EXPERIENCE IT 😂). The entire place is beautiful and meticulously curated. Can't forget to mention, satisfyingly spotless. I loved the warm design with the pop of blue accents. My favorite feature is the custom wall panels with the hidden "11:11" as a fun easter egg. It's elevated without being stuffy. Comfortable and fun. It’s how I imagine having a private chef in your own home to feel like. We were lucky to be seated in front of the kitchen and watched the magic happen. The menu seems simple but when you’re explained the dish, you quickly learn that it’s not “just” a shrimp toast or “just” a steak. Each component is ridiculously impressive, complex and impossible to replicate with the seasons and local products in play. You're telling me that Chef fermented a SINGLE component for months just for it to become a teeny element inside a dish, and *I* get to eat it? You’re the VIP in the house no matter who you are or where you sit. Truly the best experience. Just go and eat for yourself. Order one of everything. Maybe 2 orders of the steak. It’s really that amazing and so worth the trip.

You can find amazing DJs on the weekends and some of my favorite house music during the week. Chef Son and his kitchen are super knowledgable and intentional in sourcing every ingredient on the menu and the flavors you experience definitely express that. Alexis and Michelle have designed an incredible cocktail program which deliver in flavor and creativity along with a beautifully thought out wine selection. I am not typically a review person, but as you can tell I can't say enough good things about this place and the great vibes I get going there so go check it out for yourself!

ting there. The area is not the best, but parking and the surroundings are safe. When you park don’t do your QR code as they will validate parking once you go in. It’s a very inconspicuous black door with the word and number eleven in very small font. Don’t expect big signage. This place is very tiny (the restaurant). You don’t want the cocktail lounge if you want the food, so make sure you reserve ahead of time and be on time. There are only 11 chairs and you want to seat in front of the kitchen so maybe early dinner. We had the Shrimp Toast,Garlic Noodles, Salad and of course the Steak. Everything we had was fantastic. The Shrimp Toast was an unexpected amazing taste and combination of flavors. My strong recommendation is to do the salad WITH the Steak. The way they store prepare and cook the steak… that first juicy tender bite into your mouth absolutely worth every cent. Recommend this for couples looking for good conversation, background lounge electronic music. Seats aren’t super comfy but not a big deal. Summary: you don’t care about price and looking for absolutely wonder taste - be here and try it out. Customer centric staff, and meticulous prepared food. Would strongly recommend.
