The Eighty Four is a barn wedding venue located in Floyd, VA. This rustic location provides a beautiful and romantic backdrop for weddings and other celebrations. Owned by Derek and Allie Mannon, The Eighty Four has hosted many successful weddings since its beginning. This venue is a one-stop shop for weddings. It is also the perfect base for discovering Floyd and the surrounding areas. The historic 84-acre farm has been part of the Mannon family since 1946. Built by Derek's great-grandfather, the barn was operated as a dairy for many years by Derek's great-grandfather and grandfather. After their deaths, Derek and Allie purchased the farm and began building its new story. Since then, the couple have worked tirelessly to create a wedding and event venue like no other. The Eighty Four was renovated in 2018, keeping its rustic and traditional charm while adding modern touches to the space. The barn's signature design elements include wooden frames, white walls, and industrial-style light fixtures. On top of this, the farm has a spacious 3500 square foot patio ideal for mingling guests, a hand built wooden pergola, cafe string lights, and a deck with access to the barn loft. The Eighty Four understands the needs of couples; for this reason, equipment rentals, a parking attendant, and a wedding coordinator are included in each booking. The wedding coordinator creates a wedding timeline with you and is available for both your rehearsal and the wedding day. Bring your dream farm wedding to life with The Eighty Four.

When they aren’t working at one of their three businesses, they’re most likely chasing one of their four children!

the bridal party, you name it she was there helping! She made sure day of ran smoothly and coordinated all the little details! Not to mention her sweet demeanor, so so easy to get along with! She made the day so much more stress free & we are so grateful! The venue was ready for us to start decorating early Friday morning & she had so many gadgets (tape, scissors, drink dispensers, candle holders, etc) that we got to borrow which saved money and time! She was attentive to messages of questions leading up to the wedding and always asking how to help. Cant recommend the 84 enough, it was a gorgeous place to get married but Allie and her servant heart was by far what will forever stand out to us!

The Eighty Four is a GORGEOUS venue. My now husband and I drove up to it and knew it was the one immediately. It is tastefully rustic while still preserving the elegance of it all....

The scenery is stunning everywhere you look and it is so peaceful. Our wedding was outdoor, but there is a beautiful indoor option that I would have been super happy with if there were bad weather. There are also precious little cabins that the wedding party is able to get ready in at the venue. We chose to do that and it made things feel so much less rushed. Funny enough, the venue isn't even the best part. The owner/day-of coordinator Allie was absolutely incredible. She has the wedding formula down and made everything so easy for me. She is awesome about recommending vendors and communicating with them ahead of time. Actually, she was so good that my wedding started ON TIME with no stress. She also has the cutest AirBNB that you can book for your wedding party in advance that is right around the corner from the venue. She's also just a really kind and genuine person that cares about the people she's working with. 10/10 recommend this venue for every reason.

l and it had the cutest getting ready areas. But what truly sets this place apart is Allie (owner of the venue) and her team! From day one, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. She has so much experience and was very responsive. We felt completely at ease throughout the entire planning process. On the wedding day, she acted as our day-of coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly—we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Allie and her entire family were so welcoming and hands-on. They were right there helping, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making our day perfect. She helped bring our entire vision to life and was incredibly flexible with timing and other details. Plus, she gave us some amazing vendor recommendations that made all the difference! The privacy of the venue made it feel so special and intimate—just what we wanted. We can't recommend this place (and Allie!) highly enough!

and beautiful, and I can’t thank them enough for that. I had my wedding here at the very beginning of October and it was the most beautiful day. Getting ready in the beautiful bridal suites was so much fun getting to dance the night away on the outdoor patio with the lights strung above us was literally magical. They are so fun and easy to work with And I can’t imagine getting married at any other venue. If you want a beautiful indoor/outdoor wedding with a background of the mountains this is the place for you. 10 out of 10 the best day of my life.

Allie was available for questions, no matter the question, was so very helpful and kind. She helped me with my dress when it wouldn’t stay up, my hair when the curls fell, my speech while I was holding the microphone (also helping with a word when my mind blanked). They truly love what they do and you can tell that by the smiles and caring ways. I can absolutely recommend this venue for any event. It allows for different spots to celebrate your occasion too. They also have a staff of people who also share the same joy and love for creating an unforgettable experience on people’s most special day!

ay! The additional $550 was added to your total for the bartender ($250), your overnight stay in the honeymoon suite ($200) and the propane ($100) we use in our heaters. . We charge additionally for these because these aren’t services every event requires and they require additional staffing to accommodate. Your ceremony was so dreamy in the Loft and so glad you were able to dance the night away with all those fun guests! Congratulations Holcombs!

They were always supportive, flexible, creative and the utmost professionals who were fun-loving, easy, and fun to work with! They also went above and beyond to ensure our guests safety, health and overall wellness was a top priority! Often times Allie was the only one to make me feel comfortable and a sane bride to be! Not to mention the STUNNING venue, which makes you feel like you just walked into a beautiful dream world. My husband and I do not have the words to do justice that would describe our thankfulness to Allie and Derek for their leadership, professionalism, perseverance and dedication to us as a couple and passion for what they do . They literally ran around all day taking care of us soaking wet holding umbrellas over our heads all with smiles on their faces! We are so blessed they made our special day far surpass our hopes and expectations!!! I don't think you'll find better people or service in a venue!
