The Eligon is a historic building in Bakersfield, CA, now reborn as a modern oasis, offering an unforgettable space for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Eligon has maintained its historic exterior, while the interior has been redesigned as a modern and beautiful wedding venue. The indoor Theatre Ballroom features immaculate stone floors with tall windows and window wall on one side to allow for bright natural light and the perfect indoor/outdoor space. The Oasis Terrace is the perfect space for a jaw-dropping reception; dance the night away outdoors surrounded by romantic lighting and lush greenery. The Tropical Garden is a unique outdoor ceremony with a stunning background, filled with over 20 palm trees and tropical plants, the Tropical Garden makes for a picture perfect outdoor ceremony. The Plaza on the opposite side of the property is the perfect cocktail hour spot as your loved ones relax and toast to the newlyweds before moving indoors. The Eligon welcomes everyone, regardless of background, culture, or identity. The Eligon celebrates love, making it a place where all are valued and accepted. Working with The Eligon was one of the best experiences I had while wedding planning. We found them just by luck and decided to take a tour. I am so so glad we didn't settle for anywhere else! Melissa and her team made us feel like we could take a breath, relax and enjoy it all. Every meeting truly felt like a friend was helping us. They made the day go by so smooth and I swear if anything went wrong, I, the bride, had no idea! Our friends were extremely happy with the venue as well and have all said we need to hold more parties there. The special touches they did for us really made the day! I will forever appreciate Melissa, Kenna, Ethan and the whole team truly. My husband and I got our dream wedding with so much help from them. I am so glad they were fine with the different mood we brought to this otherwise very colourful venue lol Again, we appreciate them so much and will suggest this venue and team for anyone!

I found The Eligon on The Knot app in hopes to make my dream wedding come true, and I can assure you it has! Not only is The Eligon a beautiful venue, but it has incredibly beautiful staff who worked diligently for months in advance to put our big day together. We couldn't have picked a better venue for such a big key milestone in our lives.

This venue was absolutely amazing. Anything and everything could have asked for, Melissa and her husband are the owners and weddings planners that take care of everything during up coming months and day of events. Melissa was by my side Every step of the way during the day of and that I know of nothing ever even went wrong that day (that I know of) because if it did she took care of it. I could not have asked for a better venue or a better wedding planner. Her and her staff did an outstanding job and I got my dream Wedding.

We absolutely loved getting married at The Eligon Hall. Melissa did an amazing job communicating and arranging everything we needed. I was stress free the day of our wedding thanks to how efficient Melissa and her fiancé were.
